Girl, did you price check around? Those stands can be found for a better price then where you bought them. I know because I have to try to budget what I spend on my business as well.
Hi, Thank you for sharing your journey. I have seen most of your videos.well done. I too am on the same journey but in the UK. Keep up the good work. Barbara x
I make all my vessels and somewhat have my math calculations down to where I don’t have any waste, but gurl you have ZERO waste! How did you arrive at those numbers? Also, I know you mentioned that the mixture was a bit runny but you like how it pours. Do you experience any cracking in the vessel after an extended power burn (4+ hours)?
Im still learning but I think I did get it down to a science because I watched a lot of upvibe and calafia videos and took that information did some math and made a lot of mistakes lol but figured it out in the end...None of my vessels have cracked except for the first ones I did off camera because I just kept adding water I didn't know that I could only add a certain amount of water at the time... Sorry for the late response I have been MIA for a while new videos coming soon!
I have an idea for you as far as shelving. My son came back to my shop with all these shelving stands from a grocery store that was renovating all their shelving and I got all that for free so what I'm saying is you might go to some of these grocery stores these little marks and ask him if they have any kind of shelving stands that they're not using and that they would like to give to you. I got like four or five really nice stands like one was for Debbie cakes I'm going to redo it and use that in my sale room.
Girl I'm sitting her choking just watching all that cement powder flying lol. It's too much work to make those in any large quantity. The labor involved eats up cost savings.
Its definitely labor intensive and I don't plan on doing this forever I would at some point I would be paying a distributer to do this and I would just pour the wax but for right now its saving me a lot of money and I get to customize it the way that I want 😁
@Different Mood Candles by NaiOnyx they're really pretty. I've considered it myself. My biggest concerns are the amount of time it takes to make and the weight of them for shipping. They're pretty pricey to buy the molds too. If you're just doing a couple at a time I guess it's not too big of a deal if you're not paying anyone for labor.
So you don't need one to sell online which is going to be the main place I sell my candles but for like a vendor show or a pop up event I am not sure but that is actually something I am going to be researching soon because I plan on doing those next year with my business and I will have a video about the planning so I will be able to answer that question soon 😘
Thank you for answering your comments back. You were the only person i saw answer back and i really want to learn!
Thank you for sharing, learned so many things to special tips!!
I also like to spend money on things that I don’t need! 🙋♀️😂 I feel you. 💛

It’s concrete pigment from direct colors
Yes it’s stable you just can’t put more than 5% of pigment per jar or it will crack
