It's caused from low potassium, most of us don't get 2600mg - 3400mg of potassium daily - best way is through fresh food instead of a tablet form. Reduce sodium to avoid fluid retention

I actually came across a channel the other day called cancer rehab PT. She specializes in lymphatic drainage. She pointed out that you have to brush towards the lymph nodes. So for each area you brush towards the nodes then back into the heart. You can find the video easily when u search the channel. Hope this helps. I would dry brush and my lower legs still had a bunch of fluid. Just that little tweak helped so much

Just the act of massage will help. Blood flow is one of the reasons for cellulite. In the clinic people who sit at a desk all day or generally don’t exercise have the most. Birth control can be a culprit as well. I just started getting a little and I’m using retinol and caffeine. The retinol will have lasting effects caffeine is only temporary. I massage my legs with a roller and exercise 6 days a week.

It’s wild, I am 49 so the upkeep is REAL lol, but for reference, if I don’t lift for a few weeks, those dimples do start to say heyyyyy😰also my under but starts to sag a little! Resistance training is SO good for you, especially in menopause😅 All great tips here, that really WORK🙌🏼💯

When I worked in the beauty industry, I used to do a Very Course sea salt & peppermint scrub & I did more massage in the areas were I had extra cellulite. Massage works!!! Oil. NO MINERAL OIL! Make sure you get an unrefined body oil. Body oil is SO HELPFUL to me. Also, wearing tighter clothes, tights, leggings, as you get older, it helps keep everything tight & not allow it to sag or stretch. Gua sha!! Such a fan! I get VERY puffy from sodium so that’s just my 2 cents but girl, Katie, I love your videos. I swear you read our minds! 😂❤ and my natural beauty is my FAVORITE supplement to take. So delicious 🤤

Katie do you know of anything to help with swollen legs? Idk what happened but this last week it's like I gained 10lbs in my legs😞. My jeans feel so tight & my legs ache. I've been foam rolling, I drink water with lemon juice & or apple cider vinegar all day long. I elevated my legs last night. Feel a little better today but still sore. I already reduce salt intake. I just don't know what to do or what happened, other than shortly around the same time I started a new prescription for hashimotos on top of my levothyroxin. Maybe that's causing it? 🤔 any ideas would be appreciated

Talk with your doctor or nurse. Sometimes swelling happens when there is a problem with your heart. Also mention the medications you are taking Take care

@jenhampton1627 Thanks. I have & they don't do anything other than don't do exercises that cause them to swell 🫤. I already take a blood pressure medicine that helps with water retention, so I don't know. I appreciate your comment though & will keep persistent with Dr.

With Hashimoto, water retention is huge sadly. Dr. Childs has videos on it. More than likely its your meds that are causing it but it might just be your T numbers are off as well.

Not sure what you mean? Cellulite is not something I (and many) personally like. If it doesn’t bother you, that’s great!

How about we just normalize cellulite and stop putting videos out that make girls feel like they need to lose their cellulite?? How about we put videos out on how to love ourselves even though most of us have it?! How about we put videos out directed towards others on how not to judge others for having it?
As someone who has had it at my skinniest (and most unhealthiest), someone who has had it since I went through puberty, and someone who has tried every cream/workout/routine/diet I’d love to see videos on how to not hate myself for having cellulite and how to overcome the hate I get for having it….

Did you watch the video? I’m guessing not. I’d suggest giving that a try before commenting. Regardless of if we love our bodies, it’s OK to still want to get rid of something like cellulite. Loving your body and self does not require complacency. It is possible to fully love yourself and want to be healthier, look better, feel better.
