Dry brushing is awesome! As a lymphatic therapist, it is a great way to keep the lymph system draining properly. It is best to start with circles towards the heart and then long strokes towards the heart. It helps to focus on the main drains, ie… both sides of the base of the neck, just above the collarbone, the arm pits, the top of the thighs at the groin, back of the knees, inside of the elbows. FYI, you do NOT need to wash your dry bush once a week. The oils and organisms that the dry brush collect are GOOD for your PH balance of the skin. As long as you are not leaving your brush in a dark, moist area you should be fine. Allowing it to sit out near natural light will do. Washing once a month or once every 2 months will do no harm.
Dry brushing is good for exfoliating, but it’s primarily done to stimulate the lymph system... it is the only system that does not circulate on its own, but needs stimulation via brisk walking and/or dry brushing and/or vibrating plates, etc... any nausea or feeling sick is more than likely a result of back up of lymph fluids and toxins being released... start off gentle and every other day for 2 weeks or so, then progress from there...

I started fishing offer this summer, like 5 days a week sometimes. It’s hot! Pants are a no go when fishing. But then there are mosquitoes that bit, no matter how much repellent I put on. And those have left brown marks all over. So today, we start dry brushing. I’ll keep ya posted :-)
This video popped up and I had to watch! I had a baby brush and I use to dry brush my baby just to give her comfort. Not that she needed it she didn't have any sensitivity issues or anything but she was in heaven. The brush was super soft, I was gifted a really good one. I never thought to dry brush myself 🤔😆. I use lotion so I'm guessing it would be a good and gentle way to get dry skin and exfoliate the very top of the skin.
You probably felt nauseous because you were getting rid of trapped cellular waste and that can make you feel nauseous at first. As you routinely dry brush, you obviously would not have nearly as much cellular waste for your body to deal with. The more you dry brush the easier it would be. So daily is ideal.
Jasmine what she’s saying is scientifically correct though, it’s the same thing when people get nauseous after deep tissue massages it kinda puts a shock to your system
Omg I LOVE dry brushing so so much! Well done you! Amazing results. Loved your vid. I NEVER thought I could manage to naturally cure my eczema but I have documented my journey on my channel x
If you want to see your dead skin falling out try to shower in hot water then use Kojic acid soap leave it for 5 minute then rinse it completely don’t leave anything ,after rinsing use Moroccan loofa without soap or anything btw it’s very cheap , what you got in 1 month you will get it in one shower just try it !!! Do it weekly if you want it’s fine

Hi Lauren, thanks for this, I must try this, maybe this is what I need in my leg condition, I have a red dots on my legs and the doctor just told me that my blood is not circulating well on my legs, so I gotta try this one..thank you so much..
I really appreciate this informative video to watch, and as I have just began dry brushing my legs on the back of your excellent results, I would please like to check with you, what the sequence is that you apply the oil and lotion, whether directly after dry brushing, whether you use the oil and lotion separately or one directly after the other? I would also please like to check your leg hair removal method, as mine, epilating, can undo all the good work of caring for the skin on my legs. I am trying so hard to find a method that may work, and am close to going down the laser hair removal route. Thank you for your video and advice xxx
That's what I always ask for my Guest on the ship after I give them therapeutic massage... Dry body brush will help a lot of body concern... Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️❤️
Does this help with like strawberry legs and the little ingrowns? My legs are really pale so the strawberry dots looks so red and I get little harmless ingrowns but they’re really annoying
I have done laser twice on spider veins on my tigh and legs. It improved a little but I got stuck with a permanent blue bruise on the worst area, not a huge bruise but it doesn’t look better than the spider vein did, and it’s still a cluster but with a bruise added. Its on my thigh and not my leg luckily so a bit easier for me to ignore at least. It might help some people though and maybe even me if I do it more times but its pricey and I dont want more brusing, but also a warning. If you have many small marks you want to go over as well its pretty painful! If its just a couple zaps in one tiny area then the pain is over fast at least :) maybe my skin is just extra sensitive to pain, I don’t know. It felt like being stung by a bee x 100 times
When you said it kind of grossed you out i laughed so hard i snorted! I dont know why i guess bc it was just a brush. Youre very sweet. Im just up late and silly. God bless you!
thanks for sharing! about how many minutes of brushing? also, the reviews of the bum bum cream says a lot of people got those results just using that , so I'd be curious if it comes back when you stop using it.

dry brushing is lymphatic drainage. the bristles from the brush smooth the legs. it does not remove hair it is a type of exfoliant for the skin while improving texture over time and improving the circulation in your legs.
Does anyone know if this works to help make spider veins disappear? Man, I hope so!!! A long time ago when I was seeking out how to get rid of them I heard it’s a circulation issue too. I’m not talking varicose veins but tiny little red veins close to the surface and they started way back when I was in high school 🙄🙄🙄🙄 I hope this helps for that. I’ve been imitating the fascia blaster (instead of spending $90 on one) and I’ve seen a marked difference in my cellulite.

I use lotion so I'm guessing it would be a good and gentle way to get dry skin and exfoliate the very top of the skin.
I put mine in the dishwasher. I have the eco ones also.
that is so smart !! thank you for the comment 😊
That’s so weird because I also felt nauseous my first time. Definitely going to continue for the legs. Thanks for the info
I dry brush off and on but this proves to me that I need to do it more regularly
You probably felt nauseous because you were getting rid of trapped cellular waste and that can make you feel nauseous at first. As you routinely dry brush, you obviously would not have nearly as much cellular waste for your body to deal with. The more you dry brush the easier it would be. So daily is ideal.
wow i would’ve never thought of that !! thank you for that comment !
I’m in medical school, and the amount is pseudoscience being spouted out by these commenters is making me cringe
@@JazzzzFaz lol! Exactly. I always roll my eyes so hard when anyone talks about "releasing toxins".
@@JazzzzFaz The skin is our largest organ. Keeping the skin exfoliated regularly helps a great deal to keep us healthy.
Jasmine what she’s saying is scientifically correct though, it’s the same thing when people get nauseous after deep tissue massages it kinda puts a shock to your system
Finally I got one today and I just started using it .
Did it work for u
How’s it going? Do you notice a difference?
Great results 👍. You have beautiful legs before but they really look healthy and glowing!
Been meaning to do this for ages
It’s been a few days for me. Don’t see any results, but I do like how my skin feels after:) Will add the moisturizer after. Thanks for the tips:)
I use aqueous cream and coconut oil on top. I have really dry skin and this seemed to work great for me
omg i have that exact same brush but hardly ever use it, starting right now! great results
Omg I LOVE dry brushing so so much! Well done you! Amazing results. Loved your vid. I NEVER thought I could manage to naturally cure my eczema but I have documented my journey on my channel x
where did you buy yours from?
My daughter has eczema bad. Can you give me some tips on what you did? Thank you
@@Tiffany-zi3cq watch her channel!
Muhra D where do get the Kojic acid soap?
@@nursekristi1 You can find it on amazon
Like a hammam
wait seriously
Wow! Thanks for sharing your results! I'm encouraged to give it some time.
I keep reading and hearing so much about Drybrushing, and I'm always seeing a really nice dry brush in Walmart--so, the next time I go--I'll put it in my cart, and buy it!😄
and then-- I'll begin using it
Way to go to be so consistent. It was hard to see the results because your legs looked great before and after but I believe in its benefits, seems invigorating. I got the dry brush and you inspired me to be consistent with it.
Thank you! I brought a brush a while ago and never used it. I am glad to have watched your video because I want to start and wanted to see how it worked for other people who have already done it. You look great and have such a beautiful personality. Thanks for sharing.
I've heard it's good to dry brush before the shower too
Followed by moisturiser ofc ☺️🚿
omg i have the exact same texture on my legs as your before clip. i'm literally going to order a dry brush right now...thanks for the video!
so glad you came across this video !
Did you see results?
Hi Lauren, thanks for this, I must try this, maybe this is what I need in my leg condition, I have a red dots on my legs and the doctor just told me that my blood is not circulating well on my legs, so I gotta try this one..thank you so much..
You might have Keratosis Pilaris in which case dry brushing definitely helps! As well as just exfoliating regularly in general. All the best!
Exfoliation and hydration does wonders for KP!
We have the same brush🥰 anyway you’re so pretty 🤩
I really appreciate this informative video to watch, and as I have just began dry brushing my legs on the back of your excellent results, I would please like to check with you, what the sequence is that you apply the oil and lotion, whether directly after dry brushing, whether you use the oil and lotion separately or one directly after the other?
I would also please like to check your leg hair removal method, as mine, epilating, can undo all the good work of caring for the skin on my legs. I am trying so hard to find a method that may work, and am close to going down the laser hair removal route.
Thank you for your video and advice xxx
Dry brushing? People do this? Wait........ one can exfoliate the body outside the shower??? 🤔
Yes. It’s actually better to exfoliate the skin without water because water plumps the skin, which makes it harder to exfoliate.
Are we supposed to do dry brushing everyday day ?
Are we supposed to shower after dry brushing?
Olá, i will see the video right away! Bought my brush, saw some other videos. Big question can I brush everyday legs and glutes? Thank you
That's what I always ask for my Guest on the ship after I give them therapeutic massage... Dry body brush will help a lot of body concern...
Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️❤️
How often do you brush? Daily? Weekly?
Put ginger oil on prior to dry brushing and your skin and weight loss will thank you 😉
Where would one find ginger oil?
Does this help with like strawberry legs and the little ingrowns? My legs are really pale so the strawberry dots looks so red and I get little harmless ingrowns but they’re really annoying
it helps with exfoliating and circulation which really help with ingrowns ! i’m not sure about strawberry legs! i’m sorry !
Beautiful Brwn Baby Doll has a video on strawberry skin.xx
Idk about ingrown hairs, but it does help strawberry dots! There are videos on UA-cam about drying brushing strawberry dots
There is definitely a noticeable difference from day one to day 30 😮
I tired this with two types of brushes and it hurts! I felt like I was scraping my skin off!
I will try in my belly, I hope this work the same way it worked for the legs. But I don't know in what direction should I do the movements
Always toward the heart
@@SmartAlex2 Thank you
Wow!! It works! 🎉
Thanks for this! I stopped dry brushing. Getting back to it today!
I have so much cellulite its gonna take me a while lol. like 90% more than you. Do you know if it also helps with spider veins at all?
Spider veins won't disappear unless you go to the doctor. There is no method...at home to get rid of them.
Look at fascia rollers & there are some great oils that can help too for the cellulite
Incorporating this into my skin care routine, thanks for sharing !💛
Love those pink nike shorts btw 😆 Where did you find those?
Thank you !! I got them from Dicks Sporting goods!
I just ordered one today. 🤞
Thank you for this video. It’s definitely given me great info and inspiration
When you said it kind of grossed you out i laughed so hard i snorted! I dont know why i guess bc it was just a brush. Youre very sweet. Im just up late and silly. God bless you!
Your legs look amazing! The back of my legs look like yours on day 1. I'm definitely buying a brush!
Do u eat with combination with dry brushing?
thanks for sharing! about how many minutes of brushing? also, the reviews of the bum bum cream says a lot of people got those results just using that , so I'd be curious if it comes back when you stop using it.
I got mine! Thank you 😍 im so excited! 😍
Thanks so much for this detailed in depth info video! 🙏🏼 it really does work.
Working as beauty therapist for some of the spa treatments we would start off with dry body brushing. blessings ✨
So here I am because I just started playing tennis and those skirts are *so* short on my 5'9" body! Hoping this works!
Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤❤the results
I bought this about a year ago, use it daily and love it.
Starting the 30 day trial of Dry Brushing, I gonna get back with the results after that.
You’ve convinced me! Thanks for sharing!
Has anyone ever told you that you kind of sound like Kourtney Kardashian? I love her voice and yours definitely reminded me of hers!
I thought the saaame thing!!
It's called vocal fry
AND Lubriderm smalls AMAZING, you forgot that part! LOL
Thank you for sharing, this was helpful!
Hello ...new subscriber here!!!! I ask if this dry brush can use every morning and night?
Wow I love how you said I don't stress about cellulite, love your body for what it is, you have to be awesome and I can tell your very sweet , thanks for video
Is peroxide too harsh if I were to clean the brush the same way u do to the bristles only?
Soap is fine, peroxide might irritate your skin
Thanks for the info! Today is my dry brush day #1.
Did it work?
How's dry brushing?
Omg, it make me feel so weird, itchy from inside out all over and make me feel everything around me messy and I wanna throw away everything. Lol.
right and like i have eczema and my skin is sooooo thick and i feel like it isn’t workjng
Are you allergic lol :/
I get the same feeling . Itchy all over lol
YES!!! Like a prickly itch from deep within. It drives me insane! Its the reason I can't get passed day 1 !!! I'm laying here n scratching my legs off!!! Is it the circulation? Will it ever end? Ugh
It made me itchy too!!! Thought maybe the brush was dirty??? Lolol
How long did you have to do it for when you'd do it?
& it just FEELS SO GOOD
How long do you use the tool everyday?
I have no clue what I am looking for, is this supposed to be an alternative to shaving I'm not understanding what this is exactly for, you say smoother legs but is that smoother legs without shaving or what?
dry brushing is lymphatic drainage.
the bristles from the brush smooth the legs. it does not remove hair it is a type of exfoliant for the skin while improving texture over time and improving the circulation in your legs.
Lubriderm is soooo so slept on.🙏🏽❤️
Wonderful results 👏🏽 👏🏽
Also ur hair is amazing, can you tell us how ur routine caring of
hair. Thanks.
Wow! There's definitely a difference!
Wow!!! It really worked! My cellulite bothers me sooo much cant wait to try this x
Look into silicone cupping too hon, it’s amaaazing! Hi do it in the shower over a natural shower gel, legs visibly improve fast! Brush before btw
I am going to use my Rosena brush that I got from amazon, exacted to see results.
I used a dry brush but the bristles were hurting my skin . Can someone recommend a good dry brush brand
Thank you lauren i gotta try it and you are beautiful 😘❤️❤️
Does anyone know if this works to help make spider veins disappear? Man, I hope so!!! A long time ago when I was seeking out how to get rid of them I heard it’s a circulation issue too. I’m not talking varicose veins but tiny little red veins close to the surface and they started way back when I was in high school 🙄🙄🙄🙄 I hope this helps for that. I’ve been imitating the fascia blaster (instead of spending $90 on one) and I’ve seen a marked difference in my cellulite.
I just bought one today. Great video
