Where you command love and loyalty is where you need to give love and loyalty. Leadership should model what leadership desires.

Also acknowledging the actual people who have good ideas. So giving recognition. Is absolutely another way to build people up within a team.

The most important thing a great leader does. He goes first ! He shows what he demands of others. The natural response is cooperation.

I'm so happy I made productive decisions about my finances that changed my life forever. I'm a single father living in Canada, bought my second house in September and hoping to retire next year at 49 if things keep going smoothly for me

Congratulations beautiful lady. You're really doing well for yourself, I'm 44 and my financial life is in a mess.
Any great tips would really go a long way in shaping my life. I want to buy my own house, that's really a big flex.

Mr Simon's training program has been insightful, and
I must say, I'm most honoured to have been part and a full-time beneficiary of her daily signals. I have been growing & have been able to increase my portfolio from 1.5BTC to more than 5.6BTC with her daily signals.

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes. Simon this is just great stuff. Leaders are chosen by the group not by the other leaders, the board, or the shareholders. A leader is not "blinged" into leadership, because leading is more than being in charge. The group bestows you as a leader when they understand you and you've gained their trust

There is an upper limit of the perks that leadership commands currently. I don't mind that they get perks, I do mind when those perks are so vastly more than anyone else that it almost unfathomable. The sacrificing of the workers below them only makes that salary difference more distasteful and that leader harder to follow.

Marines teach leadership differently, and Simon has talked about it before. “Officers eat LAST!” They ensure that their troops/workers are taken care of first, THEN they take care of themselves.

I had to watch this several times to try to get the point. I still don’t know what the deep seeded contract is. This reminds of a math class. I keep zoning out and I miss it every time.

2:45 I recently got pulled aside and accused of being a 'leader' as if it was a bad thing. Because I offered support to an employee under stress.
Having coached and supported for years, I'm tired. Can you offer any advice for that? ❤

  • @gerald4531

Yes, I agree that most of the 'Alpha' only care about themselves nowadays. Not only that, they also get perks that are so vast, more than anyone else that doing their jobs without depending on others. This will be unfair for those workers under them because they did every job but didn't get neither perks nor credits for their own works. The leaders should be more responsible and trustworthy so that everyone else will be respectful and loyal to them.

People should expect to get their own coat, no matter where they sit in the hierarchy. Offering to get it for you is an act of kindness, not an acknowledgement of some higher status I must pay to you.

I don't like the idea of 'social contract' of like the superiors having a duty to sacrifice him-/herself in case of a danger. "A lose of 10,000 great individuals is nothing to compare having millions lead by a one idiot."

Leadership is like a fine wine - it's all about trust, responsibility, and a little bit of humor to keep things light!
