I picked up two Hampton Bay 48000 BTU heaters last month. They didn't come with covers, so I grabbed a couple off of AMZ. They work great! Such an outdoor game changer. Mine were also short flat washers. Fortunately I hoarded extra parts from other projects and was able to bust into my stash to install correctly.
You are absolutely right, patio heaters do make a huge difference. How much more could flat and lock washers increase the price of the product, geez! My fiance has nothing when it comes to tools and hardware, while I have a ton of both at my residence. She has a crappy Craftsman socket set now, haha! Enjoy your new heaters Mike. We fired ours up tonight, it is actually 55 here tonight.
@@StevesStrayStuff I'm in the Central Valley in California. No snow here, but it can get chilly. Last night we got down to 34. You strike me as a guy that needs a quality small tool kit in his vehicle. 😅
@mikecole900 Haha! I purchased my first new car ever in 2020 and gave up the toolbox! My Mazda has a lifetime powertrain warranty, so no more working on cars for me 👍

My guy you’re a genius. Helped me get mine started with a lighter. Great video
Glad I could light your fire, haha!
If ran continuous - how long does a tank last?
I have no idea Bob, but I will put that on my video idea board, that's a great suggestion. Watch the heater melt down before it is out of gas 🤣
Hi Bob. I did not time this, but I did find this information from the manufacture.
Consumption rate (20 lb. LPG tank) approx. 10 hrs.
