I am a crusty old man and I make videos of stray subjects as I come across them, hoping the videos I make will help and entertain others in their own pursuit of a great end result. I retired in April 2023 and hope to make more videos while I enjoy my retirement. Watch, enjoy, comment, like, subscribe!
VAGKRI Evaporative Cooler Review. It makes a great patio or indoor air cooler.
I set up and demonstrate the VAGKRI Evaporative Cooler operation. This baby does what it says it will do. It beats a fan blowing the same hot air on you.

I purchased a ROSTRA replacement switch assembly to repair a broken knob on a 2003 Ford F-150. The replacement switch has quality issues. I actually purchased two and both switches misbehave the same.
Walker Wheel Replacement
Переглядів 144Місяць тому
I replaced the wheels on a walker that we borrowed. When I sat on it and rolled around, the wheels broke off and now I am obligated to replace them. I measure the OEM wheels in order to find the correct replacement wheels and replace all four wheels to put this baby back in service.

Stolen or they’re trying to claim insurance posing that it’s “stolen “
Key's are IN it also! Bait car!
Most idiot thieves wouldn't know how to start it Trans needs to be in neutral
Can you provide the part numbers to the kit?
I went to the Sub-Zero website, put in my refrigerator model number to order the air purifiers and water filters. www.subzero-wolf.com/store
Bull
!00% true.
You cant take it apart for cleaning filters. Its a rip off
From what I have read. If you remove the back panel screws and then the back panel, the three filters can be removed for cleaning. I have not tried it yet, but I cannot imagine they would design the cooler with no access to the filters.
Never liked the original nor the remake, im a vette guy !
I have always been a GM person myself. I have owned Camaros, Chevelles, Monte Carlos and Corvettes. My wife owns the Ford.
Stolen?
I have no idea.
Lucky it was still there.
I agree!
Who in the hell would leave a vintage T-Bird on the side of the road for that long?
I have no idea, but would not do that!
It says it is corrosive
From what I read and how I understand it, Spray And Forget is labeled as corrosive to humans and animals, but is not corrosive to materials. Wet And Forget is corrosive to materials and that is why I chose Spray And Forget over Wet And Forget.
Can it be used without water? That is, just the fan
Yes, it can be used without water.
thanks to joe and inflation, they sure aren't $3 per filter anymore. for my 20X20 filter even in a roll this stuff costs about $10 per filter now, the premade big box store filters are a bit less.
You need to shop around. Three years later, I just purchased a 25 inch x 90 foot roll for $130. My filter is 36" x 24". That comes out $4.30 per filter for me. www.spsindustrial.com/filter-roll-25-inx90-ft-x1-in-merv-8-2jrw2?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw7NmzBhBLEiwAxrHQ-W2saNG6qCAcM7FGH88XFxJYnXGW_ZVbwylRiPnmcAFwFibbk_rCIRoC9AMQAvD_BwE
Or it’s your car and you posted this video for attention 🙄
Wrong.
I have two of those pos towers and movers just broke the swivel on one of them. I laughed when I saw and was reminded that it’s plastic. Found your video and now I’m hopeful I can upgrade the broken one and possibly change the working one after. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks for the helpful and fun video!
Please keep me posted. I cannot believe they still manufacture this tower with that plastic bearing. I hope you get everything repaired and upgraded.
Tonight with a little finagling and a Home Depot stop to get those #6 screws I’m happy to say I upgraded both CD towers! Thanks again for the inspiration and the “how to”!!!
I purchased a two pack of a similar metal lazy Susan for just under $20 on Amazon with free shipping and two packs of screws was like $3.40ish. Less than $24 total and I upgraded two units!
Thanks Steve! 🎉🎉🎉
I'm glad it all worked out for you. Be careful. It will spin fast with little effort. You wouldn't want all your CDs to fly out 😆
A TE Bird 57 I would look at it the rest of my life
That is a nice-looking ride!
It is parked, not abandoned. Don't touch it!
Otay! I didn't touch it!
Parked on the right of way?
55 or 56 I think. Maybe some stole it and then walked away
I was thinking the same. Someone stole it, and it ran out of gas.
I'm thinking he's using the gay as happy
Haha! Never thought about it that way.
@StevesStrayStuff maybe redo/change the song to Bobby McFerrin's Don't Worry, Be Happy? See if you get a different set of comments? Change perspectives, change the world Str8 eye from this Str8 guy
Yep, look like a bait car to me
If it was broken down, I hope the owner retrieved it.
Would you believe there is this thing called minding your own business? Its not even new, people just don't have the common sense to use it.
I grew up in the 80s. Everybody minded their business today’s day and age. They think everybody’s business is their business to share.
I was minding my own business. Then, I pull into a public grocery store parking lot and see this person's public billboard on their rear window that expresses their feelings about cops. I wasn't sticking my nose in their business because their business is out there for everyone to see, even the cops. The owner of this pickup truck must like living on the edge because when I edited out the license plate, I also edited out the broken tail light lens.
Common sense isn't common
@StevesStrayStuff OR just hear me out. Put down the camara and mind your business. What a concept.
Should take the tail fins from the 57, and the headlight fender extensions and put them on the 03, there I fixed it! 👍 My dad had a brand new 1957 Thunderbird. 👍👌
🤣🤣
@@StevesStrayStuff You know I’ve actually talked to a local body man and fabricator about doing just this modification to an 03 Tbird. I’m waiting to find a bargain basement buy on one to see what it will cost. If the opportunity arises, I will be giving it a shot. 🤞
THEY MAKE GREAT GASSERS
Gassers are fun to watch! They closed my local drag strip about four years ago 😔
Couple questions - any reason why I couldn't just add some ice cubes to the top every so often instead of the ice pack? I've got an ice machine at work, so I can get plenty of cubed ice quickly. Also, if it is filled up to max, how many hours will it last before it needs to be refilled. Thanks!
Great questions. I did think about adding ice. You could use ice if you started the water reservoir closer to the MIN mark, so as the ice melts it fills the reservoir. Just keep an eye on the MAX mark. The instructions did not say what happens if you over fill the reservoir. I assume the extra water would just overflow onto the ground. I filled mine up to the MAX, twelve gallons. It was 92 degrees with high humidity and I ran it for seven consecutive hours. The reservoir water level dropped to 1/4, so it consumed about nine gallons of water. In lower humidity, it would consume more water than higher humidity because water has a harder time evaporating in high humidity. This device definitely makes cool air that can cool down an area.
Are you saying all Florida cops are gay? Also yes, those are generally the responsibilities of anyone who wishes to drive on a public road way.
I am not saying anything, this is not my vehicle. I have no idea what the thought process is of the truck owner. However, the owner might want to fix the broken taillight that I did not capture in this video.
@@StevesStrayStuff well, if only gay cops pull him over, at least he has fewer cops to worry about.
Oh, bullshit.
True story.
True story.
Where I live the T bird would have been stolen
It was gone thext day. I don't if was stolen and ran out of gas, or if it was stolen overnight. Hopefully, the owner took care of it.
When I grew up people call them thunderchickens I always thought they were beautiful😊
Thunderchicken 😂
They have always been Beautiful.
Ivy League graduate I see....😂
When I cropped the video to remove the license plate, I also inadvertently cropped out the broken right taillight lens🤦♂️
There's probably a bomb in the trunk!
We'll never know.
If you have fifty million dollars, would you worry about a ten cent car???
I want $50M!
Wondows would be busted out if closed
You're probably right about that.
Better a Florida redneck than a braindead NPC from New York or California. Your president doesn't even know where he is!
Y blocks don't break down!, one of the most reliable motors .
I've never heard of a Y block until I read your comment and looked it up. Thanks for the education.
Call the junkyard problem fixed
You can't junk that piece of history, especially being in mint condition.
battery is dead power windows won't work
You are probably right. Once I read about this car and found out power windows was a 56/57 option, a dead battery surely would keep the windows down. There was an Autozone directly across the four lane street. If it were me, I would have paid Autozone an extra $50 to change the battery where it broke down instead of in their parking lot.
🍀Curiosity killed the cat 👀✌️
I was curious, but I am still alive 😂
In all fairness it is a Ford lol. If it happened in our area they wouldn't leave anything not even the hub caps lol.
🤣🤣That is hilarious!
Those aren't hubcaps That's $5k in Kelsey Hayes wheels and rubber
How have these held up outside over time? Trying to decide between these and a larger set of corinthian bells.
They are still ding-donging today. I hung it on my back patio and my patio faces due West, so it sees full sun for at least six hours per day. You just had me put a video idea on the drawing board. When this chime has a failure, I will have to upload a follow up video. Thank you. Good luck with your chime selection.
Probably the shooting the video owns it, fake narrative
That's not true. I've owned Chevelles, Monte Carlos and Camaros. No Fords until my wife's 2002.
Three years later … did it work?!?
It did not work. It was a total failure. The raccoons bent the pole to the ground.
Found On Road Dead
Haha, I forgot about that! Thanks for the memory.
Must be a good battery .
The car was gone the next morning.
Probably STOLEN.
Maybe it was stolen and ran out of gas!
Needs a for sale sign. Most likely safest deterrent for theft.
Haha, that's a good one!
I certainly hope you're right about it being a plant car or decoy I wanted to mention the newer Thunderbird but couldn't figure out how to tie it into your story I'm glad that you have one
The car was gone the next morning, twenty-four hours later, so I hope the owner rescued the car that evening.
Police bait car.
You never know!
My wife’s car is the 03 Tbird. It is perfect. For it’s twentieth birthday we had all suspension rebuilt. Every piece of rubber is new. Everything that can be replaced was. A couple of years ago I had the same done to the engine. Everything that could be replaced was. Every component that was rubber was replaced. And her car has never been washed. I wipe the car down every couple of days. I do pressure wash the underside a couple of times a year. And the interior leather is treated monthly.
Wow, you keep that baby like it rolled of the showroom floor, NICE!
Insurance scam
That’s interesting because I do the same thing with my motorcycles. I never wash them. I just wipe them down with a special polish and it does the trick. They always look brand new with no damage to the paint, etc.
Nope, nope, just nope!! Saw another classic(67 Çhevelle 2 door) on I-20 outside of Fort Worth last year. If the wife had let me, I'd have stayed there until the owners returned.
I had a 67 SS 396 Chevelle with a four speed, I loved that car!
I bet ya the points didn't want to work any more. Or the condenser. 😅
Not many people now what points and condensers are today 😂
