- Lottie came in to the studio to do a folio shoot to get some fresh shots and something different from what she already has. She styled up the look and Peter built some lighting to compliment it, we hope you enjoy this BTS!

Peters ability to communicate and draw from the model is most impressive. It was obvious to me, when the model changed her hair to wet she came in all guns blazing. Peter allowed it to happen and then began drawing from her and giving her direction. Amazing to watch his master performance with a model that was attempting pull off the alpha female of desire look. Also noted, he allowed for the macarena to happen and recognized it as her warm up. Georgeious models, one an all. His lighting techniques are masterful but his ability to communicate with the model is for me what makes the art strokes appear.
Thanks so much Bill really appreciate it
She has a great smile when she lets her guard down
Peter, watching you work with the model to get shots both of you are happy with is fun to see. Bec’s camera work to capture how the work is done and the editing make for great watching.
Thanks so much
"Oh Nakita, you will never know...anything about my home." I like the styling in these. Quirky, but lovely.
Glad you like them!
Excellent guys
Last part was the best, she was in zone.
Thanks for sharing.🎉
Glad you enjoyed it
What a setup, top marks ! Hasselblad, so casual but amazing.
Glad you liked it!
Liking your work ethic, results and Lottie's game face. You both showed up to work. Enjoyed!
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank-you once again for letting us in and showing us your methods, it is truly a very kind thing to offer. Some of the shots of Lottie when she had the white hat on really had me thinking posh Christmas campaign for something expensive. I see what you mean by trying to make more static posing flow and be more fluid to catch natural reactions. I've noticed how much nicer subjects look and can be directed to look when acting in a more natural fashion. Lottie also looks like a delight to work with, very beautiful and also eager to work with you to capture her best looks! Take care - Dave
Thanks Dave
I love a simple lighting setup and a gorgeous model
Thank you
such a creative photographer! such a beautiful model! I would imagine jewelry companies, would be trying to advertise modest jewelry! good luck ya'll
Thanks heaps
Thank you ,Peter, Bec ,and Lottie the hat goes with the hair style ,peace
Thanks for watching
Honestly I don't care about seeing my models bodies it's just a tool to me nothing new same ole same ole. at 51 I am not into that youngster stuff I am more into art and portraiture Love working with other people on their projects still learning as much as possible. Thank you peter for your video's very informative. Reason I said what I said cause you mentioned that covering the bra made the pic better thats just my insight.
Love working with one light and nurtural background. Great look! Cheers!!
Same here. Thanks heaps
It's SO gorgeous photos! Model looks like rich russian lady from 19 century! Light simple but very effective! Thank you for video!

cool!
Thank you
Amazing shoot. I was waiting for that "snuggle" shot where she pulls the jacket up high, as if she's cold. And OMG that last shot at the end of the video ... DAMN that awesome
Thank you
Very nice!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great job Peter I like the way your flash recharge so fast you have a great system keep up the awesome work. 👌 😊
Thanks! 👍
loved this one. u working.
Thanks
Incredible
Thank you
Brilliant shoot -- almost like a tango with artist and model. Lottie as a golden HOLLYWOOD age icon. Bravo!
Thanks heaps
She has a really impressive face ...
A dark formless fur coat would be very challenging to work with, for me. Was interesting to see how you approached it. Well done Peter.
Thank you! 😊
Many thanks for this new BTS video.
@B: Many thanks for presenting, recording and closing this session ... and obviously, for stealing the attention, even if only for a few seconds.
@L: Many thanks for posing in this session. I remember we were told that you were going to create your own channel, when will it happen? What kind of content do you plan to include?
@P: Question: some of the photographs that are in your public web site have some colours, would it be possible to tell us why you chose them, when you took the photographs? What do they mean? In my case, the colour tones that can compete with BW are the yellowed ones.
Oh that thumbnail pic is amazing. That look.
Thank you
Gorgeous, so good thx for sharing
Thanks so much 😊
Great session; love the shot you show at the end.
Thank you
L. knows what looks good.🎯
Thanks for sharing.
Our pleasure!
i like that you include the uh-ohs and the oops shots. Lottie in half - blink, or with her (9:46) looking 'somewhere' but at the camera (although i know you liked a couple of those for your safety shot)
those are some BLING BLING rings and bracelets!
do you do ANY cropping in post? i dont shoot much (any?) fashion of beauty so the only cropping ive done in the past typically is to correct my inadvertent Dutch Angle (i cant seem to hold my camera level!!!) or to remove just a sliver of umbrella or modifier thats crept into the corner someplace
great video again, as always
Thanks I don't really crop in post
It's odd that I'm using your shoot videos to light and pose CGI models as well. This is great stuff.
Glad they are helpful
she reminds me of uma thurman
sorry I don't see it
Dear Bec, dear Peter, Thank you so much for your tutorials and your beautiful work behind it. It is Jens from Berlin and I am a huge fan of your channel. There is one particular aspect which keeps me curious though and I hope you can help me with it. Whenever you are finetuning the look in Capture one there is the point you are giving the skin this chromy touch . As far as I can see you do it by using the gradiation curve. I am using CameraRaw for my conversion but it doesn't work here that way. Do you have any recommendation for me on this? How can I achieve this skin look in Camera raw? Thank you so very much. Keep your wonderful work coming! Loving regards from the other side of the planet Jens
Hello Jens, thank you so much. When I'm using raw I use radial gradient masks with curves and place them in different ways, this is the kind of content I go into more detail on iNSPIRE
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer Thank you so much Peter.
👍
What softbox is that? I can’t find that circular grid.
It's a 25 year old Bowens Octa softbox
Nice pictures. Lottie should have worn high heels, they better the pose even when not seen in the picture.
FUR is DEAD!

@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer don’t get me wrong I like your vids but just saying you usually put some teachable content in your videos. This was more like a really long reel.
