Our favorite risk taker is back and we are not ready for it. I must say, that this episodes color grading is absolutely my vibe (Music too!). I can only confirm you in your goal and I’m thankful for your transparency. I’m excited for your collection, can’t wait to never even download TikTok and eat everyone alive!
I enjoyed your video. I recently took a trip and only took a Ricoh GR III. The moment I hit the streets I wished I had listened to my heart and brought my Hasselblad SWC. Lesson Learned.
Great video and entertaining as always. Commentary around the hasselblad and pursuing social media hit to make us feel alive. very funny and very true 🤣🤣
Nicely done! I never could focus the Hassie! Even with Accunate screen. So one was never wanted because of expense, high maintenance costs, size! But enjoy seeing work from it!
"the cost of living isn't going to suck your soul", if you visit it for a week. Tourism has increased the prices to the point that it's almost impossible to find a flat to rent for locals. 9 out of 10 properties that are out for renting, are aimed to temporary rentals for tourists. Hopefuly things will change in 2025 with the new proposed regulation.
„The cost of living for tourists“ I should have clarified. I am very well aware of the current situation in Spain and the rising movement calling out mass tourism. Sadly gentrification is a worldwide phenomenon though and even I am suffering from it in my own city. Long discussion, wrong channel.
Hey Nicholas, thank you very much for this video, it was a joy to watch. You took really good photos. What film did you use for the color photos? I guess the BnW are all on Ilford Fp4?
Watching this video on a Saturday morning before I head out to work - I enjoy your video style, production quality and overall content. Barcelona looks like an amazing place for street photography, even if you are going for just street scenes without any people in them. Looking forward to see your other videos. Wishing you a great weekend from South Africa : )
You Richard! Look closer - I’ve got a toddler, a young woman, an old woman, two old men and several ambitious high performance artists. Anyway, thanks a ton and shoutout to SA!

Thank you David!
Thanks Nicolas for your work and also for the “grain” recommendation. Truly wonderful both.
Aww glad you like it, too man. Take care!

It‘s worth the patience!
Enjoy your video. I wonder why the pictures from hassy are not in square format? Did you crop them to be rectangle?
I used an A16 back which shoots 16 6x4,5 photos.
Well, this channel was a nice surprise. Subscribed.
Yo Geoff! Welcome - glad you’re here!
what back do you have on the hasselblad? A16? Are these 645 format? I just got a 500c/m and love seeing something other than 6x6
Yes, yes and yes! 🙌🏼
Which shoulder strap does your Leica camera come with? Thank you very much!
It‘s not mine and IDFK. It’s Kims! Leica original I guess…

Thank you man! That’s right, I shot FP4 and Kodak Gold 200!

Got to love a 645 back on a Hassey. People say it's not medium format. Those people are fools, fools I tell you
Put it right next to a 35mm negative and quit your yapping I tell them.
Try Phaseone 645AF (Mamiya 645AFDiii) if you prefer 645 format. I owned both P1 and the Hassy and find that color on the P1 is more superb :D
Looks nice but I gotta find some spare three grand in one of my winter jackets first.
Having a darkroom equals peace of mind.
That’s the spirit!
The cost of living isn't gonna suck your soul if you come from the north of Europe😅
True!
