Cutting and buffing a 1987 Box Chevy Caprice LS Brougham that I just painted. I'll show you how I color sand clear coat runs and orange peel to achieve a show quality finish. I'll take you through all the steps from sanding with the DA with 1500 grit, 2000 grit to 3000 grit. The final steps is using the Harbor Freight Digital Chicago Electric 7 in 10 Amp Heavy Duty Variable Speed Buffer / Polisher to apply the compound and polish....any questions feel free to ask SprayWay.

I noticed the reflection from the lights inside the shop actually made it look dull from this View, and then when you took it outside, the head-on reflection made it look dull again and I was like wow I don't like that paint job, not as shiny as the rest of your other paint jobs, and then right at the very end, you put the sun behind you and that was the only time I seen the awesome job shining beautiful. Awesome.

@@jerryjordan4533Single stage metallic/pearl paints are difficult to get consistent due to pearls/flakes settling, even after thoroughly mixed. You can add matching pearl to clear and clear over single stage for uniformity. Single stage has a longer cure time but can also be cut & polished after such with a bit more finesse than you would 2k paints, urethanes, etc. Some guys using waterborne paints will layer pearls/flakes using various intercoat clears before top coat.

@@jerryjordan4533 that was a good question. I bought sum paint like that for sum mirrors i made. I was told once i sprayed it by paint shop that i couldnt clear over it. Sooo after sprayed my mirrors 1 had a run. Waited for it to dry and i sanded mirror back down and resprayed the whole thing. I should have just fixed the run then shot clear on it. That's why we got Spray Way!! Always here to help!!

Can you do a video on how you put the headliner in after cutting the ceiling for the sunroof? Nobody ever shows how to do the headliner after adding a sunroof.

You just prove to everyone that you don't need to make a 100% paint job , you can make mistakes and still make your car 100% , looks like a showroom paint job
