- Liza Minnelli presents the Cecil B. DeMille award to Elizabeth Taylor for her lifetime achievements. Taylor says that she never expected to be in the same category as past winners and thanks everyone for the award.

I miss the 1980's. The stars were brighter then and we all knew who they were!

Elizabeth was stunningly beautiful around this time in her Nolan Miller gown. She lost all the weight she gained in the late 1970s. It was about a year latter she released her own fragrance "passion." In the tv and print ads for passion Elizabeth looked gorgeous in another purple (her favourite colour) Nolan Miller creation.
