Every time I see Audrey Hepburn , I feel like I'm in the presence of royalty , she is a very , very classy lady , And a great human being... She was so loved by so many people, May she rest in peace....❤
Pure class. Never will there be another like audrey hepburn.
O, I do love her so. She had dignity and compassion and an inner beauty that went far beyond her movie persona. She had a superb kind of class that is not seen in this world of the Kardashias and the soccerstar wives. It's about beeing decent as well as elegant and beautifu and in a natural way. I am proud to say she was part Dutch and that in the town she lived in during the second world war the square in front of the major theatre is now called the Audrey Hepburn square. I think she would have been very proud of that.
kitty viveen my uncles house in Arnhem was just up the road from her
They don't make it like that anymore

Audrey Hepburn is elegance personified. She will live on, eternally.
A time when Beauty, Class, Dignity, Talent was associated with awards shows. Not anymore.😞
AmeRicanItalian Israel Nobody these days are up to these standards. I miss them all, and I’m only 50.
Era of Elegance.
that's our fault for support films that are bad
AmeRicanItalian Israel come on. Jennifer Lawrence differed but in a very refreshing way.
So very true.
Every time watching her makes me cry. Such an amazing woman. I wish I could have met her. My forever idol, thank you so much !
I cry every time too!
same! she was such an angel
Oh, just watching the Cecil.B. award, it made me cry. The part in Breakfast at Tiffany's, where she shoved her beloved Cat out in the rain and drove off, you knew she didn't want that, but when she went back calling and crying for him has always reminded me of rejection, unloved.
It was just a movie, but for me and even for Audrey in her childhood years of being starved, must have cried inside if not out watching her movie in that scene with Cat.
What an absolute icon this woman was - style, charm, grace, talent, beauty, modesty and dignity. Little wonder she still sits at the top, or near in most people's lists of favourite movie actresses.
I wish I was a person in this era. I feel like I don’t belong in my generation.
Me too
u can start s
same

She died too young. What a class act she was. Had a very cheeky side to her but you can see the admiration her co stars had for her. Thank you for posting.
Audrey Hepburn's name appears several times in the dictionary, as descriptions for: elegance, class, beauty, dignity, poise, grace, humility, charm...the list goes on and on.
I'm in tears watching this. She's always been my favourite female icon and she reminds me of a better time. Her movies always lift my spirits. She was a gift to the world.
fully agree 🌠 and such a joy to see her again with the most dignified, noble + ruggedly beautifully handsome Grégory Peck 🌠 the most elegant pair on screen
What a beautiful woman not only on the outside but on the inside! A true star, one that we shall never see the like of again!
They do not make Hollywood personalities with such class like this anymore!!!!! I am happy and grateful to have been able to enjoy her many wonderful performances.. Times have changed and I do not believe for the better, how sad..the current generation has no idea of the genuine class of AudreyHepburns time on the screen.....
yes, she is, classy lady
There are still Hollywood stars who have grace, beauty, and class like Dame Julie Andrews for example. And men who are true gentlemen still exist like Dick Van Dyke, for example.
A time when movie stars had decency, ethics and intelligence. Long gone, I'm afraid.
She is truly amazing! No wonder that she was a muse for Hubert Givenchy. Audrey had the inborn class, dignity and style, which could not be obtained with any acting coaching. I adore her. Rest in peace, beautiful Lady.
what a gentle and beautiful woman!!!
A beautiful lady and a wonderful actress. Very well deserved award and received with so much grace an angel on earth and now in heaven.
Ever since I loved Audrey Hepburn. What class she had. So did Mr. Peck. If you look at what she wore you can wear it today. I miss her.
fully agree 🌠 and such a joy to see Audrey again with the most dignified, noble + ruggedly beautifully handsome Grégory Peck 🌠 they were the most elegant onscreen pair ever
A rare beautiful woman who just happened to be a great actress full of class and elegance she puts some of today’s so called stars to shame
Take a good look Hollywood trash.....this is what class and elegance looks like!
Yes take note Molly Cyrus, Lindsey Lohan, Cher, Madonna, Rosie O'donnell, etc.
Hollywood reflects the values of socirety. Undoubtedly anything going on their is also happening in NY, New Orleans, Paris, London and Washington DC. I loathe most reality tv but it is no worse than The Dating Game of The Gong Show of an earlier time. Hepburn was one in a million. She had class and elegance like Grace Kelly but survived near starvation and the German occupation as a child. She spent the last year's of her working for UNICEF, an organization that had helped her. There is a reason she remains an icon.
tomlaud so true she had it all
It's plain trash now no grace no dignity
@@jeancoughlin5490 Working for Unicef has definitely nothing to do that she's an icon as she would be anyway, as several others from those eras.
Her authentic beauty, class, dignity, elegance, modesty and talent are the reasons for this.
beautiful woman....always beautiful even in her old age...an epitome of beauty...natural...no knife...no bottocs...no surgery....confident..happy and satisfied ....this is the woman i will always admire...
so so so beautiful at any age she was!!
We get so used to stars owning the stage and the spotlight with their swagger, an air of pride, and the pure force of their presence. We forget that a rare few can own the stage, and the spotlight with their humility, and gentle nature and simple grace. Its not complicated what she does here. She reminds us that sincere modesty can be incredibly intoxicating.
She embodied a grace & an intelligence that seems so lacking in our 21st Century. If only we could have her back...
Wow..the list she reads. What names, amazing actors. The Golden Age of Hollywood.
Utterly and effortlessly charming, gracious and a glorious example of humanity. She did more as an ambassador than even her performances on screen. What a glorious creature!
Wow,a sweet ,gentle, humble actress with deep principles, something so rare in narcissistic Hollowood today
I loved Audrey Hepburn...Breakfast at Tiffany's...a Beautiful Actress.
What to say?..
R.I.P. Ms. Hepburn, and all-everyone, who left us, but wanted to make the world and themselves, a little better
R.I.P. 🌍🌈🌅🎬🎞️
Every time I see Roman Holiday I must cry!!!
Regardless of age we all love dignity, humanity and natural beauty. May those virtues never die.❤️👍
A holy person who happened to be a Hollywood actress. Peerless!!
Gregory peck audrey george peppard an all the other actors gone may their soul rest in peace ameen
The legendary charming graceful and elegant actress Audrey Hepburn.
Wow so elegant and beautiful.
Classy, classy, classy ... ❤️
What a humble graceful intelligent human being, she’s not just a star and a angel.
She also cared greatly about children around the world and did a amazing job for unicef
I consider myself beer lucky to have been born before the internet, Facebook and Instagram took over. When there were 7 channels and no cable. It allowed me the opportunity to see some of these great movies and over the years I've come to appreciate what great talent the Golden age of Hollywood contained. Timeless talent, stars with Grace class and respect. How the world needs more of them right now.
She was just wonderful in her acceptance of this award.
She can't bear to look at herself on the screen! So classy
The classy and elegant Ms. Audrey H.. ❤️👍😊
That was the best, Thank You Speech, I have ever heard. It only stands to reason that it was Audrey Hepburn, who delivered it!
Oh, how we still love and miss you...❤️
I no longer watch the Oscars. Today, sadly, it has become a platform for personal agendas, an opportunity for people to spew hatred, bigotry and intolerance, and, last but not least, to demonstrate their complete lack of gratitude to we, the little, ignorant, know-nothings whose money purchased the tickets to the movie that gives them their opulent lifestyle and the platform they misuse in such vile and disgraceful manner. Looking at these clips of Oscars past makes me long for the day when "star"
attached to a person's name really meant "Amazing, intelligent, talented, thoughtful, brilliant, beautiful in body and spirit,
courageous, gifted, generous of time, money, heart and wisdom, etc." I am tired of this atmosphere now, where people are afraid to give their true opinion lest it cost them work in Hell-iwood. I am sure I am not alone in being weary of self-promoting, selfish, silly, self-indulged, snarky, intolerant people who are so afraid of opposing ideas, they feel it necessary to silence those ideas, thoughts, and speakers, and doing so on national television in a forum that was created to entertain and to celebrate creativity. Instead, before the whole world, those haters, those small minded people snarl, use filthy language, disparage the country that protects their right to rant and rave, and waste the opportunity to encourage the people coming after them in the arts, telling them with diligence and hard work, they can be likewise blessed. What a complete waste of talent, fame and time. Voila tout!
Well, at least you have Trump, right? Such class.
@@nikosvault What? You'd prefer the murderous witch, hitlery, eh?
GFYS.
Triumph is classier than any of your lying democrat CAREER thieves .eh, politicians, so fuck off.
I'll keep my guns-you let your home be invaded by foreigners.
I'll sit back and laugh.
Yaassss you the best Audrey
what a shame this video has so few views
Dix Curbmaster because the people don’t recognise quality and class today is full of trash
thanks so much for posting. Gregory Peck....George Peppard...Richard Crenna.
I love this dear woman, and she probably should have been offered as a candidate for sainthood for her completely selfless works for charity and the starving child in the world. I do find it interesting that the only two women she thanks in her speech are Shirley MacLaine and Lillian Gish; both women of deep originality with no seeming connection. Worth an exploration.
Lillian Gish played her mother in the western "The Unforgiven" Audrey plays a foundling raised by a family who turns out to be a stolen indian child and her brother wants her back.
@@kayedeedid no
Shirley Maclaine was her costar in "The Children's Hour."
She co-starred in movies with both women, MacLaine in the Children's Hour and Gish in the Unforgiven
Beautiful! I loved her in my fair lady being from London myself as it were knowaddimean?
Gone are those days with wind, leaving only memories and thanks to youtube for giving unique opportunity to review these movies and immerse ourselves in those memories.
All her movies are jewels in the treasury of films.
A tribute designed for a Hollywood legend. 🌹
Audrey created style and grace. Her legend will always live on.RIP Audrey.
So beautiful and dignified. Fair Lady indeed❤️🎼
In a world of full of Beyonces and JLos, be different, be an Audrey Hepburn!
Maybe you should try to be Audrey to and have enough class to not talk trash about other (unrelated) women.
Those were the days my friends we never going to see this kind of Hollywood show ever again These are great people
" I don't wanna put you in a cage. I want to love you." It's the same thing." I agree with Holly.
Breakfast at Tiffany's and Audrey as Holly Golightly, the theme song Moon River, as well as all the great main and supporting stars in it, everything in this movie adaptation of Truman Capote's classic novel is pure Hollywood Magic and artistic PERFECTION.
Robert Wolders 13:36 is subtitled "Audrey's Husband" but they never married; he was a long-term consort. A classically handsome man, he had been married to much-older Merle Oberon until her death. Virtually nothing back then was known about eating disorders such as anorexia, and the press- which Audrey here thanks for being kind- kept alive the notion that Audrey was a hearty eater and naturally thin, but that was not the case. After decades of war with food, Audrey succumbed to abdominal cancer.
I've never heard of anorexia causing cancer but cigarettes do and sadly she was a lifelong smoker. Still she was as close to flawless as anyone I've ever read about.
@@marcuserlandson4690 Well, now you've done it. Incited the "there's no proof cigarettes cause cancer crowd." Remarkably, they're still out there, defending smoking, often posting "My uncle Chester smoked 3 packs a day and lived to 90." Wait and see.
An absolute class act.
I must admit that I love Audrey!!.- I saw all her movies, read books about her, she is giving me happiness..What a lovely Lady she IS- Forever an angel.
Hi
Hi.
That music from the film..Charade with Cary Grant. Love that film..
Charade wasn't mentioned! Audrey: Do you know what is wrong with you? Cary: No, what? Audrey: NOTHING.
Charade was not mentioned but Cary Grant was.
In China, I saw photos of her everywhere two decades ago. I'm still not sure why. Perhaps it was her petiteness and modesty but everywhere her grace and elegance were admired. She was an exquisite rarity who graced us with her presence with her polish and class despite a hard childhood. How I wish I could have met her if only in a glimpse.
My love is amazing in this world and heaven😍😍😍😍😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😇
Audrey where ever you are bless your soul. I have been inspired by you since i first saw you in " My Fair Lady" Love love love you.
She looks so happy💜💜💜
Низкий поклон Одри Хёпберн, женщине огромной силы воли и духа, большого сердца, человечности, души............. Низкий поклон этому ЧЕЛОВЕКУ!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Compare Audrey Hepburn to today's woke brood.....no comparison. Dignity class style jntelligence and humour personified..
The perfect woman. Sigh 💕💕💕
Holly Golightly, beautiful & charming Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s - love her & that movie - when I was in New York a few years ago, I had my girlfriend take a photo of me in front of Tiffany’s, wish I could post it

No entiendo ,el idioma ,pero si e entendido ,que Audrey es y siempre será MARAVILLOSA
audrey co starred with gone and existing legendary people...how lucky they were to have worked with aubrey
When Audrey was on the screen, you couldn’t look anywhere else. She drew attention without even trying and she certainly didn’t do it via provocative clothing or attention-seeking behaviour. She was elegant, respectful, compassionate… just name a positive adjective and it applied to her. I love how she rattled off the list of her movie costars- a veritable who’s who of mid-Century Hollywood.
11:55 to 12:15 - I have never, ever seen such radiant smiles. Truly an angel!!!
This very same night, Barbara Stanwyck died. 3 years later, to the day, Audrey died at age 63.
TheTerryE wow how the lives of the greatest actors were intertwined... Barbara Stanwick was best friends with one of Audrey Hepburn’s great loves William Holden who died at 63 just like Audrey, only before her..
A true style icon. Not like the ridiculous outfits we get today.
What a classy lady!
What an absolutely exquisite, beautiful, articulate & fun lady
Atticus Finch! Ah the golden era of cinema!
Charade with Cary Grant : her movie too.
Love Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn in all their different movies. Her Unicef work is incomparable.
pure joy to see Audrey again with the most dignified, noble + ruggedly beautifully handsome Grégory Peck 🌠 they were the most elegant onscreen pair ever
Holy shit! A 12 minute introduction! And no mention of her champion movie "Two for the Road"!
Audrey never mentioned Albert Finney either....very strange ?
@@lsmoulton bad breakup?

She was 60 or 61 here

She was 60 years old, but her health was waning. She passed away only 3 years later at the young age of 63.

While I am watching this, I feel like a lady dancing ballet with silky dress and silky scarf feeling a breeze kissing my face.
All of them are elegant, decent, from high end society not as like Hollywood nowadays
I have been watching Roman Holiday again this summer. I feel her speech is still that of the princess Anne! Genuine, passionate and noble!
They went back for the cat and found him btw
Thank you so very much ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🇱🇷
I loved her so much- the Lord took her took early. I hope to have long conversations in Heaven
