I had the honor of working with Ms Taylor after her regular makeup artist wasn't available. Her humor, graciousness and ability to make me comfortable was so appreciated as I was for the first time in my career, a bit nervous. I also have a great memory of chatting with you Whoopi while working with Gloria Estefan for a charity event in NYC! You are both treasures! XOXO
Elizabeth is brilliant as so many things but the thing that always sticks in my mind about her is her wonderful eyebrows, they have a life of their own. I had eyebrow envy.
I literally ran into her on the steps into Palm Aire in Pompano Beach FL in the 80's. I was strapped down with Nikon F2 / worked as graveyd shift photog for the local news. My mom and pals were staying at the resort. I ran smack into her coming down the steps cuz I was trying to strap my cameras on. She looked right into my eyes with the kindest smile... she was a really beautiful woman ... Inside and out. She said pardon me before I could ... patted my shoulder and walked around me. Lady is missed.
Liz was so gorgeous! One of the last real movie stars.
What a great interview. I love how Whoopi is so smooth and non threatening with people. She knows how to shine the light. Elizabeth looked so darling. She has some of my art pieces. I was so thrilled about that. Well, we know she is with her beloved Richard now.

There must have been an enormous amount of pressure on young starlets in the 50s and 60s. Popularity was just taking off and they had not idea what to do with it. It would make anybody sick as a dog. I absolutely loved Elizabeth Taylor. Another great interview.

I love the WHOOPI show back in the day. They would air it later in the evening and it was the perfect way to wind down. Meditative, relaxing and entertaining. Long-time fan of you, Whoopi. (PS. Your sitcom was comedy gold. Edgy + timely. Boy, wish we could have that show back these days.)

What I like about you - You're hilarious in a real genuine way, you're completely down to earth, you're real w/ people, you don't put on any airs...you're just completely yourself, you say things the way they are, but at the same time, you have a real kindness about you too. Whoopi interviewed Carlos Santana on her show once. It was the first time I’d ever seen him talk about Miles and Bob Marley, John Coltrane. I was blown away by his reverence for his mentors.
I was so sad when she passed away... all I got left is Diana Ross and Cher. All my other favorite legends are gone but certainly not forgotten. Liz Taylor did an awesome spot for the "I Love New York" commercials.
She was a great, wonderful lady! Love my Ms. Ross and Cher too!
And YOU Whoopi! I still got you, and I'll have you for a long time because you have to be at that wonderful little great-grandbaby's graduation in about 17 years ;-)

I remember this show! Early 1992, at night awesome set it was so cool jazz 90s late at night with no audience. It was too awesome for its time.
I would give up almost any high school thing, prom, football games. I'd rather go to the Oscars, and the premieres.

Elizabeth did not miss a thing by not having a regular "childhood." Football games? overrated. School dances...usually a bore...teenagers are a bore..believe me Elizabeth had the best life.
