So for anyone doing the cost breakdown of upgrading any of the AMD Ryzen 7 pro models, I did the math. This is assuming you use quality parts and not the cheapest Chinese thing you can find. As of now a base model would cost you around $849.00 USD (lowest you can go for 7 PRO CPU). Doing the ram upgrade and the SSD upgrade would bring your TOTAL to $1,125 (IPS display). If you just buy the version with OEM RAM and SSD UPGRADE 64gb/1TB, it's $1,059 PLUS you get an OLED display. So it's basically better to just buy the upgrades from the ghet go. But I imagine once this product is out for a while and you get it second hand for a decent discount, you can totally do some big upgrades on this girl!!! Even if you want to upgrade to 2TB SSD, the cost breakdown works out to the following: ALL Upgrades yourself -> $1,185.43 (IPS display) Only upgrade SSD from the max spec OEM model -> $1,218.00 (plus OLED) Difference: $32.57, but you're still missing out on that OLED, so I still think it's better to just buy the fully upgrade unit STOCK at this time. Going to be great to snag any from the second hand market!!!!
The intel version can take max of 64 gb of ddr5 or 96 gb but without channel parity (which results in lower ram performance) while the amd can take 128 but i've not tested it myself.
Do you think this model can accomodate the double sided ssd like a SN850X 4TB? There seems only one ssd model of one sided with 4TB, which is a crucial P3 plus which I prefer not due to its lower performance though.

Wow this looks very doable! I love it!, Both rams are not soldered and replaceable with 32 GB each?

I just received one and the heatshield on the ssd is not there anymore - wonder why and if that harms performance.
