The battery reset button suggestion worked like a charm, thanks. btw the issue was that the laptop wouldn't charge after running out of battery, but after holding the reset button, it started charging again.
Awesome! Glad it was an easy fix. If you haven't already, please like and subscribe so others can find my videos and possibly consider watching a few others and commenting to get the algorithm to recommend my channel. Thanks!
My advices are, have patience with the clips, mine gave me a hard time to open... Remove the card slot, so that the clips from the back loosen up. If you remove the internal battery cable, then when you reconnect it, be sure to push it back well so that it reconnects (I had to disassemble mine a second time to reconnect the battery, because I didn't push it enough the first time).
Hi there, seeking your advise. First of all, thanks for the video, for the time and very good explanation. My Lenovo Thinkpad T590 from time to time it gets stuck, for example opening Teams web version or when I'm in a zoom meeting. I have upgraded the Ram, now running 32 GB, i have changed SSD NVme but still the same. I have tried W10 and W11, no changes. Any Idea what else can I try? I have tried changing browser with no joy. I have cleaned the motherboard , check drivers for both OS but most of the times, PC is just fine; I try to demand a bit or sources and it just get crazzzyyy, performance shows well on the taskbar but you know something is not good
How's your T590 running? I got mine a month ago. It's totally brand new, but now i see a small, barely visible red line in extreme right corner of it. Other than that, this machine rocks. I have been virtualizating linux and Windows on it, so far so good display is fine just that red line which comes after hours of usage.
Hello, I hope you are doing well. I have a question about my Lenovo ThinkPad T590 laptop. Two weeks ago, before shutting down my PC, it prompted me to install a system update. After installing the update and shutting down the PC, when I tried to restart it, nothing happened. I tried charging it, but the issue persisted. Then, I used the emergency button at the back of the laptop and attempted to start it. Here's a video showing what's happening: ua-cam.com/users/shorts4U9-6TxB3us?si=J-Q9bEINZ6RLSAES Has anyone else experienced this problem? Do you have any advice or ideas on what might be happening? Do you think the issue is software-related or hardware-related? I look forward to your feedback. Thank you
If it was updating and it "shut down", assuming you didn't click update and then shut down, it was likely in the process of restarting while completing an update and you powered it off with the button, causing the motherboard bios chip to have an incomplete update. Not sure you can revive it.
Thank you very much for your response. Did you watch the attached video? So if I understand correctly, either changing the BIOS or perhaps trying to flash the BIOS could potentially resolve the issue? So it's not the motherboard that's damaged, or possibly the screen?
ERROR Code is: 0001. Reset Error (platform reset not de-asserted) Remove all power resources (The AC Power adapter, removable battery, and coin-cell battery). Hold down the start button until the computer turns off. Turn the computer upside down and find a small hole next to the center screw that holds the case in place. Use a paper clip and insert it there and press gently until you feel a click - hold for 10-15 seconds and release. Connect the charger and try to turn on the computer. !!!!!!the most important thing!!!!!! The charger must be connected during BIOS installation. Use Lenovo System Update to update all of drivers.
so, the motherboard isn't damaged in this case; the issue likely stems from the BIOS, correct? Thanks, and sorry for the question; I just want to gather more details before seeking support." "Another question: why did you tell me in the first answer, 'not sure you can revive it'? What do you mean by this phrase? You talk about the laptop or motherboard or the BIOS Thnx
👍👍 like the way you talk - very clear and smooth
Thanks!

Hi i have question i have lenovo e590 can i use external gpu if yes can you please tell me how?
No idea
Need thunderbolt for that, and not worth it as youll lose 30% of the gpu power as the bandwitch through the usb cable wont be enough.
@@Bruceybonus2008 sad
@@ItsBinhRepaired yup
