Turtle and Tortoise Genders

Ever wonder if your turtle or tortoise is a male or female? In this video I go through a few different species and talk about ways to figure it out. There are a lot of ways to determine gender and it really depends on the species your are working it. Here you'll find some good generalizations on several tortoise and turtle species so you'll know what to look for. This isn't meant to be an all-encompassing guide to all chelonian gender traits so make sure you do further research to confirm based on the species.
Apologies for some of the focus issues in a few parts. The camera was not cooperating all that much when I recorded this.
