Fall Prep Part 1

The Autumn is upon and soon chilly winters will be here. I started this series of videos in early September where I go through all the preparations we need to make in order to be ready for the cold weather to hit. In this video we build cold frames for the testudo tortoises that will be brumating outdoors this winter. I also go through some preparations on the pre-bonsai that need to come into the greenhouse. For the bonsai, in many ways we're taking advantage of the last few weeks of warm weather AND and extended warm period once they go into the greenhouse. At this time of year, we can still defoliate, repot, and really work most of our tree because of the greenhouse. Anyway, here's a look behind the scenes of SOME of things we need to do to get ready for winter. Part two will be coming out soon!
