Love the idea of locking it out on a climb, but damn do I always forget to open it back up when I start descending. I just run wide open all the time and don't worry about it.
+BK-XC I'm the same - benefit of the open adjust on the latest FiT4 damper is that you can dial in a reasonable pedalling platform without compromising feel when it's in the Open setting
Funny when this first hit the 'net, the 2 links that showed up in the Google search turned up as dead ends. Guess they were put up too soon and were taken down quickly. Good to finally have the official announcement out.
+WasmachinemanTT5/R™ I was 12 years old with a Kona Hot, Sachs Power Grip Extreme and an XC700. My pop is the forever repeat father of the year for giving me that for my birthday.
J Paul Rogers Nice! I own a '95 Trek Singletrack 970 ZX myself as a retro bike, and I really like it! Doesn't have a Marzocchi fork though, but a 2005 Duke SL.
Compromising stiffness by removing material, just so you can put in a stiffer hub? What's the point? I'd rather actually benefit from a boost hub than save a few grams.
DownhillRacing TV it will not ! Fuck people stop being that negatif. It's a special coating that reject the mud without scratches. Ok one day you will have some scratches but its a bike and that appens to every fork !
Fox better get their ctd remote fixed as they messed it up this year and rendered my new bmc te01 impossible to ride. For that they deserve a very big fuck you.
Fox need to be fucked real hard. They make rubbish. My new step cast forks seized in the lockout after 6 months. Bike shop said the bearing has seized and was pressed in incorrectly when manufactured they said.
Why? By far the most durable forks on the market. Rockshox SID is competitive and generally good but I can hardly think of anyone actually choosing it over 32 Factory SC (I don't count sponsored Sram combo with so many bike teams, but rather actual choice of customer).

BKXC yeah this one time i slammed my nose on my stem.... i rode over a huge root.... damn but the tree was secy as hell.
Is Fox 32 Float FIT4, 15QR fork better than RockShox Recon Silver TK Air? And what are advantages and disadvantages exactly?
Fox is better in every way.
what kind of bike is that in the back around? i know it's a santa cruz but what kind

+Israel Magalit Yep, a couple of places released the story 24hrs early, we assume by mistake!
Great fork...love my 2016 Fox 32....this looks even better!
1994 called, they want their Marzocchi XC700 back.

Great performance !Fox :)
Can it fit 2.35 tires?
when it's really muddy the kashima coating will be scrached 😧😞
Fox is offering a black DLC version instead of Kashima.
+DownhillRacing TV Mud Guard?!

I don't like FOX very much.
