Was meant to say the Carcano M91 having 6 rounds instead of the M95 in the ammo section... Got them 2 mixed up 🙃
KriticalKris Accidents happen. Too feel bad for yourself, brother
KriticalKris 4.00 The Ross Infantry isnt out yet so you need to make the kills with the Marksman variant
What about it's new Patrol Variant? It has a scope and a suppressor...
KriticalKris, because you actually cover the actual stats, you are the best youtuber that covers the weapons in games
Eh, both enblocs.
If anyone was interested, the British P14 only held 5 rounds of .303 as that round has a large rim around the base of its case. When they rechambered them they found that they could squeeze one more round of the rimless .30-06 in the same gun.
Them devils ain’t so tough... Us boys’ll knock out their fortifications easy
Those little operations intros get so annoying after the 200th time hearing them lol
KriticalKris haha....anti American propaganda!!!
(Uummmm.....I'll show myself the door, man, I love this channel)
"You see those machine guns they got? The artillery? The PLANES? Dammit... odds of us making this campaign gotta be about, 25-1 against!"
"Jerry don't know us Brits"
Time played:
Operations: 1 day, 8 hours
Operations cutscenes: 1 day, 7 hours
This rifle should have been introduced with the release of the game as M1917 was much more used in the war than M1903
There is no M1903 Infantry... There is the M1917 Enfield, which is basically the closest thing we can get to it though
Paladin Colt Yup. They're so statistically similar, that a 1903 infantry would be exactly the same as the 1917.
I'd still want the M1903 Infantry tho... I bet the iron sights are easier to use on that (tried it with the K bullets on the Experimental)
Paladin Colt Can't wait for April.... this rifle needs a scope very badly.
use the M1903...literally this gun with a scope
rubberwoody The new Enfield will have a silencer and a BETTER Scope
the metal ears protecting the rear sight is such a classic look for so many weapons.
Like the BAR
@@thecommentingt34 and the M1 Garand and M14
I'd love to see these guides return for the next Battlefield game (hopefully ww2)
Oh,it is
It sucks ass tho
Great job and this weapon is identical to the M1903 Springfield Marksman Sniper and the standard issue rifles only infantry version is that both weapons share the same sweet spot range since both weapons used .30-06 Springfield ammo at 820m/s muzzle velocity shared with 7.62x54r mm Russian 1895 & M1916 Mosin-Nagant M91 but 60m/s less than the Gewehr 98 880m/s
So now that you're pretty much done with reviewing every gun, I had a suggestion for a different series of reviews: map reviews.
You could kind of keep it in the same format as the gun reviews. You could discuss the real life history of the battle/location the map is based on, the general layout of the map, areas of importance, tips and tricks, etc.
This would be cool to see because I loved these gun reviews and am gonna miss them!
The 1917 is basically a slightly modified P-14. Because of the rimless .30-06 cartridges, you could fit a 6th round inside the integral magazine
I got about 170 kills with it and only one of them was a 100 damage sweet spot kill
Yo Chocolate haha
Do stat sites tell you how many sweetspot kills you have?
Hey Dice, bring back the huge booms the bolt guns make when they fire it's badass, oh and bring back service stars
Only one weapon left to be reviewed. And that's. The one and only..... Revolver MkVI
AKA auto revolver for all the classes
GG Painkiller And the c93 carbine from the russian dlc !
Fernando Barros Oh yeah, almost forgot that. Thanks M8 ( I really mean it )!
jees je Nice alias you made for the Webley MkVI!
and the kolibri
Ive actually used the Enfield 1917 that was used by my grandpas dad in Somme
Cool :) I got a Lee Enfield MK4 from the war. I love the oldschool rifles.
derek harms americans didnt fight in the somme
Do you mean P14? It's the same rifle, just British and firing the 303 round
Katies Channel The Somme happened in 1916 and Americans weren't even in it. You're probably thinking of the SMLE.
Do you mean the P14 Enfield or SMLE?
I actually own a 1917 Enfield that was originally custom made for my dad’s dad which was then passed down to my dad then to me. It has a beautiful custom wood stock with a 4x scope, and it serves as a nice hunting rifle.
To be honest this is my favorite gun in the game for scouts
In WW2, this rifle was used by the British Home Guard (Dad's Army) because the regular British Army had a priority for Lee-Enfields.
DLC added when it is one of the most proliferant firearms in the conflict and the century .
The bolting animation of this rifle is quite beautiful and with new apocalypse themed skins it looks very nice. Have you thought of doing some kind of "my favorite weapons/maps/operations" video in future? I would be interested to hear your insights on those.
Yeah, I'll probably be working on some videos like that in the future once all the guides for BF1 are done
@@KriticalKris Interesting...
I actually really like the sights for the enfield and I think is superior to other iron sights to other infantry rifles
It's the basis for creating the famous m1 garand sights that are now in nearly every non AK rifle sight today.
Ive gor one of these in my gun room. They are absolutely wonderful, and heavy!
Very informative and well done mate i subscribed.
Can't wait for this gun to get some long range optics.
First time I've ever seen the M1917 in BF1. You really know they overdid it, when a rifle, that was meant to be basically factory new in that time period, looks worse than the one I own in real life, which saw actual combat in WW1 aswell.....
The M1917 bayonet also goes on the M1897 trench gun
Great video as always.
Btw the 1917 was zeroed for 500 yards. You had to flip up the sights just to aim it at 200 yards. So you have to always aim super super low in real life. Aim at knees or lower to shoot guys in the torso
It is a rifle with BAR sights
Zli Kurac or the bar is a machine gun with m1917 enfield sights
The first BARs shipped in the Battle of Argonne used the Enfield P17 sights. BF1 version uses WW2 sights
Heya, do you think you could try to do the same kind of guides for other games ?
Some like Verdun, Tannenberg or Beyond the Wire would surely benefit from good guides like this
Now I'm not trying to hate, and I did do this on Xbox, but you did get a few thing wrong. First you must unlock the sniper variant before you can unlock the actual rifle and DICE change getting 50 kills with the normal Ross mk3 to the Ross mk3 marksman. Trust me it was annoying but in the end was very worth it. Thanks for reading my comment!
Great video. This gun looks and sounds great
My 2nd favorite gun in the game
In hardcore no HUD this gun is a sexy beast
It's crazy how the most popular American rifle in WW1 is a dlc gun in the last dlc. It's also probably one of the worst, down to its sweet spot being so far out, making it a terrible match with low range optics
Ryan Wallis and yet people still want the 1903 infantry
Ryan Wallis They just wanted to show off the visual aspects of the rifle, with the iron sights and all. But I agree, it's the only reason I won't use it.
I have 10+ 240 m headshots with the Enfield since I unlocked it. It's a savage weapon in the right hands. It's a great weapon to make camping snipers rage quit on Operations. Just gotta love those one shot kills at 100+ meters.
That's a new suppressed variant with the sniper scope
No I'm talking about the Infantry variant. I don't even have the CTE.
Congrats on another great video Kris!
Joined for the game, stayed for the history
I love the fact i can say i own one of these now
in back to basics this should be the service rifle. also the sights look like a m1 garand
and thompson
@@bandit5747 Lol funny you mention that, the M1928 models had the same rear sight as the Enfield funny enough
I actually own this IRL, a very fine rifle in quite weighty at about 9 and a half pounds. At around 105 years old, she has been a study pedal.
FINALLY… , I Was Waiting So Long ^-^
My favourite apocalypse dlc weapon
I only have the base game modes but I already have the ross mk3 unlocked and equipable in my scout class and I'm only a rank 1 scout
Wasn't this used in North Africa and rear echleon troops during ww2?
MARKSMEN, YOU MEAN THE ROSS MKIII MARKSMEN
Tbh this looks to be a reliable infantry rifle
Kris will you redo the guides so it feels updated beacuse of the new Weapon Variants coming?
I'll probably be covering the new variants in other videos in the future
Need to make a Mauser 98b for carbine variant.
Little lighter and shorter in 7mm Mauser would be the perfect rifle for WW1.
I actually own this rifle lol mine is an eddystone made in 1918
Lol 0:20 how many hours did it take you to do that?
I was loving this rifle but all of a sudden some how it felt weird to use It felt weaker and useless. Maybe I moved something in my settings. I went back to the SMLE.
Hey Kris what's your Platoon name?
The first one looked like the M1 Grand
Very good video but those rabbit ears ( I’d cut them off-rabbit ears-if I had to use them)are very distracting and hard for me to aim to see with my old , so I
Prefer the Lebel infantry, or the SMLE infantry with closer range sweet spot or want little long range “Lawrence of Arabia”
Infantry!
I happen to have an actual one, and when you look down the sights the ears and ring mostly disappear because, well eyes are weird. The sights are actually very good when viewed in person. However I agree that they can be distracting when used in game.
The sights are great IRL
Gun’s sight housing is unnecessarily huge
Better Evil it’s the rabbit ears so distracting to see the small front sights, I’d cut them off, that’s why I prefer the Lebel, SMLE or the Lawrence of Arabia infantry rifle!
My favourite gun of the Apocalypse DLC. And much better than the Ross Rifle.
HecklerRommel I like them both but the Ross is waay better
I hate the iron sights on this.
Zyzor very hard to see with
I happen to have an actual one, and when you look down the sights the ears and ring mostly disappear because, well eyes are weird. The sights are actually very good when viewed in person. However I agree that they can be distracting when used in game.
I do not like the sights
C40 too
C40 , it’s so distracting, if not used to ,rabbit ears you see , and have to reallly focus on the front “little - small sights!
That’s why I prefer the Lebel, SMLE or the Lawrence of Arabia infantry!
I happen to have an actual one, and when you look down the sights the ears and ring mostly disappear because, well eyes are weird. The sights are actually very good when viewed in person. However I agree that they can be distracting when used in game.
Taller than the soldier holding it? I'm not too sure about that. The rifle was under 4 feet. Even with the bayonet it came to only around 5'2". While that is long I doubt it was taller than all but the shortest of soldiers
The average height of soldiers back in the early 1900s would've been shorter than today's standards, quite a lot would've been around 5-5.5ft
KriticalKris yes. But the rifle even with the bayonet was still shorter than most of the soldiers. With the rifle coming in at under 4 feet and the bayonet coming in at roughly 16 inches, with the bayonet fixed the entire weapon would certainly be long but not to the point where it would exceed the heights of most soldiers. Most soldier would still have a few inches on it. While their certainly would have been soldiers shorter than the rifle. However most nations of the war we're in similar situations with their service arms when bayonets were fixed. With most of them being close to or slightly under the average male height at the time.
Better use arisaka.enfield scope makes my eyes hurt
Hey kris sode you not have to wait for the new m1917 silence variant
A Glorius Canadian wel right now in the cte DICE is testing 8 new weapon variants and 1 of those variants is a m1917 enfield silence its the same m1917 enfield thats in the game but it has a scope and a silencer and (I think) that it wil come to the game soon
Thomas Dubbeldeman
Nice
It took to long to get this weapon in Game
Kinda looks like the M1 Garand
Tyler Hamrick No, the m1 garand looks like this gun.
The worst iron sight in BF1 IMO.
Why is the back metal so messed up it looks like your player didn’t have toilet paper on hand
The Gewehr M95 only has 5 rounds... you're talkin about the Carcano mate
God dammit, yeah I mean't the Carcano 😅 got em mixed up with them being pretty similar
Why does everyone want a 1903 infantry?
Bubba Mike because it was the standard issue U.S bolt action rifle and it’s in the campaign/Standard issue rifles but not normal multiplayer
Good news though. M1903 experimental now has the infantry rifle option.
Pay money for a digital weapon.... Hmmmmmm that seems very pay to win.
Except its literally the same as the other bolt guns? And doesn't offer any kind of tangibale advantage over the other guns?
You mispronounced boer
10th
When it's the last dlc and they release shit weapons lol.
Bluupz Bluupz The weapons are hardly shit. The only one that can claim that title is the RSC SMG
HecklerRommel the RSC SMG is actually really good it is a skill cannon. A skilled player can do great with it.
////////// I've had little luck with it, I'm sure I'll master it one day but its such a strange beast. I understand its actually better in semi automatic than full though.
if you want a skill cannon assault weapon use a slug shotgun or the carbine. the RSC is trash
rubberwoody lol at shotgun.so easy 2 use
1st
A Glorius Canadian holy shit, you're actually first. congrats bro
TM06 Wot?
2nd
Most useless rifle
I happen to have an actual one, and when you look down the sights the ears and ring mostly disappear because, well eyes are weird. The sights are actually very good when viewed in person. However I agree that they can be hard to use when used in game. The sweet spot is what it is for a reason as the normal "Battle sights" were zeroed fore 300 yards (Idk in meters) with the ladder sight being adjustable for 200-1650 ish yards (again Idk in meters)
