Big thanks to you guys. I also was an installer back in the 90s. Fun times! I watched all your f150 vids. I have a 2017. 2awg + & - from batt,1500w on 3-8s. I replaced the 4ch amp that was powering my components with the 200.4 in bi-amp mode. I used Forscan to turn on low level outputs from oem radio. Wow what a difference. Im not using time delay but the difference when going back and forth with the button is night and day. The sound stage and stereo separation is excellent. Im using a $15 Pyramid 6.5 in deadened front doors and 90's MTX tweeters. Sounds better than some high dollar components ive had over the years. Its all about that Kicker key. Love the content, teaching an old dog new tricks.
When you guys take in vehicles and you talk about measuring the seat positioning, ask the owner if their seats have position memory. And if so, which one is their stored position? That should help cut down on a lot of time for you guys on the ones that have it.
If you use the harness along with the Kicker Key in BiAmp mode, how do you get the signal to the rear door speakers? Or do you suggest not using the rear door speakers with the Kicker in BiAmp mode?
Maybe they like the convenience or maybe a heap of people have them and are misusing them. Or maybe they're a sponsor. On your other mention. You ever thought about keeps? One in three men have unwanted hair loss. Can get help online and don't have to go to an office and it ships discreetly to your door.
Sir I know you guys work a lot on kicker. I have a question. I purchased the GM kicker subwoofer model 19417164 for my 2020 GMC Sierra AT4. This system has a built in 200 watt amp. My truck has the Bose. It was a plug n play system. My question is why would the subwoofer sound so low I cant even hear it? The only thing the amp has are 6 dip switches in the back I don’t even know what they are for. I assume it’s for the gain etc. Also another issue I’ve noticed is that while the truck is completely off I still hear some popping coming from the amp/sub. Any advice? Thank you.
I’ve got a 2017 Toyota Tacoma with the Entune Premium sound system non Jbl I have been looking at putting in the OEM Audio Plus system that is plug and play with DSP and Amp but I seen this video with Kicker Key Amp and thought I might try it. Which do you guys recommend
I got Lincoln with the THX system 😧 it sounds great decent door speakers with nice silk dome tweeters, but no Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or anything that connects to modern phones..😭 no one make adaptors for it either...😭😭 Yet for a factory sound system its the best I've heard. Miles above, bose, or B and O, etc.
Most cars are fine as the main cab is steel welded together like they have been for years (even in aluminum ford trucks), all of the extra panels are what gets glued on like fenders and such.

I'm glad you mentioned the start stop issue, My last F150 (2015) would cause my kx800.5 to restart every time.
FYI... They changed the harness for the 2021+ models.
Installer Diaries is back!!!!!!!

Oh, the suspense. When is the next video? I think this is just what I need in my 2022 F150.
Any videos coming or published that show how your tuning...before and after RTA results?

Omg if I hear about the kicker key anymore I’m going to pull out what’s left of my hair
That's ok I kinda like it 😂😂😂😂

For me the issue is after market radios don’t have knobs. I don’t understand it. Probably never will.
It would take up too much room for the space of the touch screen. Get any Alpine and you can add their Halo knob which actually works very well
Is it better to use low level inputs (my head unit has outputs) or the high levels?
Low level signals are cleaner and wont have any distortion introduced from going through the head units existing amp.

I think there are apps available. It converts an FM station on your radio into a "receiver" for wireless streaming from your phone.
What year make and model?
Does anyone know where to get this harness without paying 300+?
Truck….not car…. Cheers!
how do i become a focal dealer
Part 2?
So treat all new cars like wooden boats when it comes to grounding.
