Yeah, now that there’s other molded parts like bumpers and light buckets to attach an inner mount support to, they need to ditch the posts. This body would be insane without them.
Your excellent Datsun minitruck review brought me to this. _...this is so nice,_ I'm compelled to buy two; one to keep, and one to send to Mighty Car Mods in Australia. After several minutes looking, I can't find a difference between their build and this Kyosho body. You're costing me a lot of money, friend. I'm referring all my wife's screaming to you from now on.
Great video review. I just got one of these. Have topped up all of the shocks, also rear and front Diffs only have a bit of grease in them. I cleaned them out and re filled rear and front with silicone Diff oil. Front with 60,000 and rear with 10,000cst silicone oil, I’m yet to test on the track, but hopefully should have solved the rear swinging out on corners 👍🏻
I got the skyline 2000gtr from kyosho, and it’s a gorgeous body too but I agree about the body posts. They’re great cars though especially for the price, great review.
This is the only car that has me wanting to get into onroad cars. I have a handful of brushless escs and motors to swap in and some 3s 5000-7500mah batteries. I'd love to throw some drift tires on it, leave it awd and have a blast.
I'm not going to say that your wrong about the body posts, becouse they do look out of place, but it makes putting an aftermarket body on it much easier! Good luck trying to fit any body on the traxxas 4tech 3.0. Maybe magnets would be the better option, but they won't hold up when going 50mph... It's just difficult making something that's easy to work with and looks clean
I hear you about the aftermarket bodies, but there’s ways around it. The SCX10III Jeep for example has a hidden body mount system, but still has mounts where standard posts can be installed. I agree too on the magnets, both the pro and con.
totally agree. ruined by body posts. i want to get the build kit ad do my own sports design. japanese sun rally. then i can add magnets . then turn it to 2 wd
The only change on the tune version is that it comes with a slipper clutch instead of direct, drive i.e. if you wanted to do this in the past, you need to buy the slipper clutch parts from the Matt van, which is what I’ve been doing for a few years on my Kyosho’s, so technically, they stole my idea😂
Who cares about the post its a affordable rc that's actually made with quality. Perfect for middle class man lkke my self with lots of responsibilities 😂😂
You know, considering that they have the Mini-Z series that use no clips, it makes no sense that they can’t scale that up to the 10th scale. Ruins this body and the 1957 Bel-Air body as well
The body post should be a thing of the past by now!

Bathtub chassis is a winner😀, it fit good with different body styles.😁

They’ve been killing it with their bodies lately. Oh no! I have too many wives upset wit me already. 🤣😂
Congrats on the win at mini nationals Greg!!! Oh and love that Datsun!
Another great review👍 Got to agree, those body post on such a scale body. I think I've bought my last Fazer until Kyosho changes that.
Yea probably best since ur so upset over something so small and easily fixed
The review I've been waiting for. Sweet looking car.
Wow! That is amazing.

got one already its sweet
What a looker!!
Yeah body looks amazing, I'm sorry I can't get over the body posts it's the back ones why oh why would you put them through the rear window

Mine had some tweak too. The shocks weren’t filled all the way. Never trust a RTR is actually ready to go.
Thank you for the detailed review Greg! Totally agree the BODY POST ruined it! What’s wrong with you Kyosho? Gotta get rid of the dang body post!
Closest I had to that car was a 81 Datsun 510. It had a “Z” motor in it.
Damn this is one nice looking rc :)
Sick
sick!
Which batterie did you use for the car? what Mah is it? Btw, nice review!
Es el mejor juguete de los autos

Thanks Greg, another great looking car. Can bodies be purchased separately, so you can just slap the body on without buying the entire kit?
💯🔥 niiice
It’s been recalled??

Similar to the Team Associated Apex2 Datsun 240Z. Wonder which one is better right out of the box.
Must have been a sale on 240z licensing. Out of the box, the Kyosho might have the advantage because I “think” it has taller gearing.
Doe they all have 4WD, these models? Like the Mercedes?
Can you throw a castle creations Mama Max motor in this?
👍

I thought that too but the Chevelle, Camaro, el Camino, etc.., have a slipper clutch but are not listed as tuned

what battery do i get, please help
Do you know if this body would fit on the new Redcat drift car?
What's a suggested brushless motor to put in this?
What battery did you use?
I don't understand what makes this a "tuned version". It looks and seems to preform the same as all the other ones.
I assume they mean "tuned look" because of the fender flares, aftermarket looking wheels etc.
@@tomwilsonn You may be right but it is weird to list the car as a "Tuned Version"
Where can i get the battery and charger?
Use the Amain link in our video description.
You forgot Japanese Jaguar lol
