Nice work. I learned quit a bit about the car just by watching you do the assembly. You did an excellent job providing all the stats and important information. It's super cool that you also provided the different wheel bases and dimensions to 8 nice bodies that could fit the Mk2. 👍👍
Always happy to see Akira Sensei involved in Kyosho marketing. The 2 and 4 mm adjustments to the body post height is stellar. And nice to see Kyosho offers in house upgrades. Dōmo arigatōgozaimasu Kyosho and Akira.
Cool! Can we get upgrades yet? Maybe an improved center shaft? Chassis braces? Aluminum a arms... stuff like that? The cars are OK brushed, but really suffer when you put brushless power in them.. Please stiffen the chassis and improve the center shaft. It wobbles badly, at high speed.
@@deltazero3796 I'm in the states...... And it's not like they can't sup stuff out to companies like RPM, INTEGY AND YEAH... They all make pretty quality parts... Especially RPM.. who wouldn't like a set of rpm A arms on their MK2? Or maybe some nice shocks? Carbon fiber shock towers? Cmon... give us something...
I like how they pull the kit out and replace both differentials because the ones that they give you are total crap. They clearly know this because they are replacing these them before the car even runs. I’m a firm believer that with Kyosho, MP series or don’t bother.
The diffs are not replaced, you disassemble- add diff silicone oil, grease ring gear then re-install. I own 2 mk2 fazers, one of them is this kit. No issues with stock differential, I'm having a few issues with the ball diff upgrade however.
Love my Faze mk2 charger(brushed).... But, keeps suddenly dropping revs temporarily before picking back up again. This process repeats itself throughout the whole run, almost like it's kicking into some kind of 'limp mode'? I'm guessing the ESC is at fault, anyone else had this issue at all? I've reduced the throttle EPA on the controller by 25%, but the issue hasn't gone away! 🤔
Not stock from factory, they actually put in steering stoppers so you cannot have the steering angle required for decent drifting. With Kyosho, MP series or don’t bother.
There are RTR versions and kit version as a roller without electronic and partially assembled. Kit/Roller and RTR - ready to run sets, those 2 exist mostly.
I think knock a few bucks off by making it an full blown kit and upgrade other parts. No reason to pay for extra labor if we have to literally take it apart to complete it.
Very dissapointed with .y three kyosho cars. Three mad vans and all have basically failed in every way possible. Being in the industry for 30+ years i hadn't ever owned a kyosho kit so i decided to grab three as a seller was seller all three brand new for a good price. First failure were the oil filled shocks. Or should i say oil less shocks as they all had leaked their oil out in their boxes. And rhen when i got one out to run, before i even ran the battery flat the spur gear had stripped even though nothing had come loose and i check everything before i run my cars. And then the second one it did exactly the same thing. And the third one the rear diff outter metal gear cracked and fell apart. .At the time trying to dind sparw parts for it was near impossible especially here in Australia. Ive never onown a product to be so hard to find spare parts for. Not one store that i called here in Australia had the parts required. And the ones that sold the mad vAns said they couldn't even get sparws and once they sold their vans they wouldn't be selling any kyosho as parts as very hard to get. Anyway I'm done with the hobby now and i have sold off all my inventory and collection. Such a shame when a product isn't necessarily cheap can leave you very veey disappointed in it.
Like most Japanese kits you mesh base on pre determined screw location's. This is nothing new. You can buy manually adjustable engine mounts if you so wish.
Theyre definitely $100-$150 more than what they should be. The bodies arre ludicrously expensive to buy if you want the nissan skine the older model. Kyosho used to be very good quality, but if i was to compare this chassis with another id put it up againts a tamya tt02. I was gping to say hpi sprint 2 but thats not fair. I have one sprint 2still after selling off everything else and it is one of my all time favorite car park runners and to this day it has beaten regularly all.my friends that show uo to race it. Anyway i guess its buyer beware

I can't wait to get more MK2 Fazers. I've got the Challenger and the Mad Van and love them both.
Just ordered mine yesterday. Can’t wait to get it!

I bet this is “Akira san” the master hands in this UA-cam! 🎉👍👍
Great to see the master at work👍
Absolutely master craftsman! Attention to detail !🦀
Wow, this was a great video, thank you

Of course not.
They can't handle sending spare parts to Europe, not mentioning making upgrades

@@Flying_GCBut why call it "40% assembled" when you have to disassemble them to add grease and oil?
so you can pick your preference in diff fluid.. 😊

i got mine together but the front has so much camber the chassis touches the ground
Thank's 😄
I don’t understand what is new here. Didn’t we have that exact kit already?
Does the Challender come with slipper clutch or can be installed from the Mad Van?
Will we ever see a 2wd drift car from Kyosho🤔✌️

Do these come rtr
Let me guess: the builder is “Akira san” ?
Why did they assemble it partially if you have to take it apart anyway?
If you mean the differtial housing that was already installed, it is becuse it holds in place the bearings that keeps the drive train from falling out
muito legall....parabéns
I just bought a Fazer mk2 and the box says it's fully assembled.. do I have the same thing?
There are RTR versions and kit version as a roller without electronic and partially assembled. Kit/Roller and RTR - ready to run sets, those 2 exist mostly.
Anyone know how fast it goes?
Sloww..
Are these some what quick?
😉👍great video
We need more Nitros!!
nice!
Can't really call it 40% assembled when you need to exploded every assembled part to add grease/ oil
🤘y'all have a badass day 🤘🍻🤘

i just figuered it out - i didnt pay close enough attention - paused vid at 10:43 i had front hub was upside down - cheers

I like it . Can you send me one to review on my channel please ?
I will supply the electronics if that is an issue .
For what they charge for this joke of a car they could include adjustable links and suspension not to mention the crappy potmetal diff gears! Junk!!!!
