This works with updating to the release version. For me I didn't have to delete the folder, I didn't want to lose anything so just restarting with the thing disabled and turning it back on worked. It might stop offering the update for a bit (like me/ but then it should come up to download and install again.

This also works if the Windows 11 preview update won't download on your windows 10 computer, this fixed it for me and Windows 11 is downloading right now. :)
