I saw some bits above, it looks like Jane was very calm-collected-politeness around Bingley. Yes, she smiled at him and made conversation but she was seen being polite to others, and in the book (and mentioned in the movie) Jane was known for having pleasing countenance by everyone who knew her, so I deduced she was showing the same manner around Bingley. Of course, Darcy, thinking that Bingley could do 'better,' as in, he assumed Bingley should be with a woman from his circle due to him being wealthy (obviously this opinion was shared by Bingley's sisters-or sister in the movie), so both of them convinced Charles Bingley that Jane was just being polite aka not truly romantically interested in him.
I think that she has every right to interrogate mr. Bingley! Jane really liked him and he liked her but mr. Darcy and his sister got in the way and separated them. He was lead to believe that Jane didn't love him.
Rosamund Pike is just the most beautiful!
I love this movie! I wish there had been more of Jane and Mr Bingley

So simple and so correct the life of these people
All finished with a thriumph ol tre love. Impossible nowadays.
I wish we saw more of whatever gave Mr. Darcy the impression that Miss Bennett wasn't interested in Mr. Bingley.

P&P is NOT a "RomCom," at least not in its original version in the book or in the 1995 mini-series version.
Rom? Yes. Com? Yes. Rom-com? No.
❤❤❤❤❤🥰
Mama Bennet should let the men speak first & quit interrogating them.
