Sho you right, know you right. That bass goes down to your spleen, add his stage presence plus character and you really can't come any closer. I wish they could have given him a whole song or two to lead on. One of the top 20 intros in R and B was Party People. I use it whenever the situation is right, "Hold it hold it wait a minute. Now I didn't come here to talk to y'all people, I came here to PARTY!!"
@@skinnyman-rv1xi Party People a great song. Show executives didn't truly promote the group that was creating good material. My Love Is True, a classic but for some reason they hardly sings it.
@@jeffreyconyers-z3r Forgot all about My love is true, gonna pull it up soon as the kids go to bed so l can enjoy it. For years I thought Bo sung the CD versions of Stay and This is my promise but it was Theo Peoples.
"Ain't nobody coming to see you Otis !!" Rememory Spell: Mama called me up and said to come watch the Temptations with her soon as l get off work. They were on the Robert Townsend Show. This was the lineup and they sung Stay. She was blown away and bought the CD the next morning. (Bo had a lot to do wit it). I sure wish she was here to see and HEAR!! this one. Mama used to flop when she had her conniptions. When they hit that harmony on the "married" on top of Ron's magnificence she was going straight down. Otis, as always, Wethanksya.
The group The Temptations performed here in Brazil in December 2001. At the Free Jazz Festival. And they sang this beautiful and memorable song, I have the unreleased video.
You know, Ron Tyson is the longest running tenor singer of the history of the Temptations for 40 years.
That bass singer though!!!
His name is Mr. Harry "Boom Boom" McGilberry. He was a Temptation from 1996-2003. He sadly passed away in April of 2006
They are good, but you can never beat the the originals ❤
Ron Tyson been a Temp 4 times longer than Eddie Kendricks was. Give this man his props!!
I could not have said that better.
Eddie quit. What's your point?
Eddie, set the stage for Ron to excel in that position.
Didn't Eddiie recommend Ron,Ron is brilliant, or was it Damon Harris he was brilliant too ❤
Neither@@kathyhayden2499
Ron is such a cool guy. He had uploaded a video on youtube (about a decade ago!) in memory of every Temptation member who had passed on.
RON. still. sound. GREAT
Ron Tyson ❤
The absolute best most talented group that ever lived.. faultless. Flawless ❤
They all excel in their way like who you like & get over it
I hit the like soon as I heard oooooooooooww
Perfection
Beautiful song
Folks, just listen to Bass of Big Mcgilberry and you hear the closest man to Melvin.

The last lineup that had the temps look....
Agree

I like to call this lineup the youngbuck lineup
Nobody in the group at that time is younger than 30
i played it in 1.25😂
Good but not as good as original Eddie knew what to do with that song
It’s too slow But sounds good
Dont cap it's ass
