James here in Michigan, and I took my girlfriend Karen to Hill Auditorium, Ann Arbor. She didn't know about the Tubes? ... She asked me about this band and I said "You'll love this show!" 1981. She/we loved the show. Tubes are great. A smart, sharp sound with excellent quality lyrics. Some of the great songs of the/my generation. I can't imagine Tubes being forgotten and lost? They were and still are cutting edge rock/roll/ stylish/great music. J. By the way, Karen Lynn was a fine friend of mine. RIP babe.
Why aren’t they in the RRHOF yet some rappers and Madonna are? The tried to put in Dolly Parton and she declined, as she should. But these guys who are excellent musicians are snubbed …F..kin criminal it is !
Saw the tubes knebworth 78.

A fantastic band. Great musicians. I saw them in '78 at the Royal Oak Music Theater. Then Masonic Temple in '80 I think.
@@psyclotronxx3083 Right on! Royal Oak is a great theater. Thanks, J.
Seen them in SF at either Bimbo's or the Boarding House, nineteen seventy something.......lol, great fun.

I wish I could of seen em live at least Once, but I Did have a couple of their early albums.
for me anyway , the best WPOD and the best tubes concert was 12/31/75 new year's eve concert at Winterland, San Francisco. this pales in comparison
Maybe the best but they were playing it at a weeks long residency at Bimbos in SF in a small venue and those shows were batshit crazy!

Unbelievable high energy. Bought their (Trashcan, I believe cover) on their best of The Tubes. Best underrated band out there.
The Trash version. Sweet
