i think many people don't realize, most of the time looking attractive is synonymous with looking healthy, i believe for the majority of people if they stay at a healthy body fat percentage, eat a mostly non junk diet, even light exercise, shower, other basic hygiene, that will make them attractive from there you can boost it more by learning specific things that are perceived as attractive, hair being one such thing, hairstyle matters a lot and it can depend on things such as face shape, body shape, hair type etc.. being attractive takes effort, so don't assume that everyone attractive is just lucky!
Excellent points! I literally touched on what you said about attractiveness being linked to being healthy in my latest video. Hair makes a huge difference too and in the future I want to make videos about hair.

People do indeed treat thinner people different. I’ve been considered obese at 245 lbs 5’10. I distribute weight pretty evenly. Now at 155 the attention from people overall especially men is much much different.
Thank you for sharing! I know I had comments from ppl in my past about how skinny I was and by the look of their faces when making the comments it didn’t seem like they thought that was attractive.
@@NaturalInjector i can understand that as well but I’m guessing you were much younger? Probably high school or younger? I was teased all the time for being 5’10. I have had thread lifts in my neck and you do not feel the threads. They do provide immediate results but they don’t last forever. I do my own so they aren’t that expensive for me. start with sleep and stress control first, then go food consumption and sport activity - only after you'll see much faster results of your weight loss. Confirmed by me.
I always pined for a sculpted chiseled look but as I've gotten older I appreciate that having a naturally rounder softer shaped face can make it easier to maintain a slim physique without as much noticeable volume loss !
Ok but there is a difference between a FAT face and a full face. Excess fat is not attractive but a naturally full face can be attractive. It has to do with ratios and bone structure. If you lack those, you're also ugly but in all cases, excess fat no matter where it's located, I generally NOT attractive. It's like thick vs fat.... ppl are attracted to "thick" girls but if she's just fat, then not so much
@@user_abcxyzz I would say that my face is in the naturally full category . No matter how many of those videos I watch I'm not very good at gauging my proportions but judging by people's reactions I would probably be considered attractive to some but no knockout .
It’s really hard, but I made it to that sub 12% for a while and by God does the entire world treat you differently. It’s almost THE single biggest contributor to success in your life, outside of the parents you were born to.
When I was in my 20s to early 30s, my face looked best at BMI 21, now I’m in my late 30s, a BMI of 22-23 (130-140 pounds) is the sweet spot and I look younger than my age. Higher than that, and I get jowls and puffy cheeks, lower than that, and I start to look abit gaunt. I have never in my life had a low BMI (under 20), however I did diet down to BMI 20 about 5 years ago and had a 24 inch waist for the first time in my life, but I was only able to maintain it for 2 months and my face just did not look as good!
Thanks for sharing your story! I understand how you feel where if you lose weight, it affects your face. I felt the same way. I’m so glad I tried Sculptra because I can be the ideal bodyweight without sacrificing my face and having it look gaunt. The more facial fat, the more it fills out the face and in some cases it can disguise the aging process.
I’m also late 30s (38) and my bmi is 22.7. When I go down a bmi point I feel like I look older and my boobs get floppy. I would love to be skinnier if I could keep the same face and boobs lol.
I get invisible and men get mean when I lose facial fat but men get nicer and give attention when I have a fuller facial fat. It’s amazing to witness change in treatment yet exhausting
It's not about BMI. It's all about the body fat %. Two bodies of the same height and weight (same BMI) can look entirely different depending on their fat %
My body has always wanted to be a certain weight since high school. My BMI is 26. At 66 if I lose 5 pounds I have been told I look frail by family members. I'm short. I had my 3 daughters young. 20 through 25. So, that really helped to snap back quickly being young and not putting on excessive amount of weight. Staying a consistent weight and a good skin care regime I believe has slowed the aging process down in my case.
Did you hear about raw primal diet by aajonus vonderplanitz its pure health it can make you younger 20years absolutely remove all wrinkles and males everything young again all information are at scott primal channel

My weight has always stayed between 115-128 my entire life. I'm 5'6 age 64..I dont have a lot of wrinkles or look my age. May try Sculptra. Sounds great!
From ages 29 to 31, I went from 115 to 105. I’m average height and my face looked skeletal. Unfortunately that’s where my body has stuck and it took my facial fat. I had two liquid facelifts and wasn’t happy because my metabolism ripped through my cheek filler in 4 months. I sought out a facial plastic surgeon who suggested Sculptra to me and I’ve had two vials over two sessions and am very happy now! I have my face back! I will still need to gain weight but I don’t look sickly anymore!
What did sculptra do to your face? I’m happy with my slim body but I lost the youthful facial fat for some reason. I feel like I aged 10 years after using retinol this summer 💀 everyone thought I was a teenager (I’m 31) but now out of sudden I never have to show ID etc. don’t know what I’ve done wrong :( but I want my face back, I’m not that old
@@Emiliah1996 It filled me out! I did wind up getting lumps, but not visible unless you feel around. I did two syringes and then had HA fillers layered on top. It looks very natural and filled out. Exactly what happened to me. Even our numbers are identical!! I gained like 20 pounds now and I look so so so so much better and EVERYONE says I am More attractive now
I look insanely handsome at bmi 19, after my university graduation due to my extremely sedentary lifestyle, i added 15 kg so i decided to lose the weight, i started running and i come back to 19 bmi, i am again handsome. 😅😅
Depends on your culture. As an American, I was stuck at BMI of 19 from high school though my early 30’s and people thought I looked very bad, and forever stuck as a teenager. Now I’m at around 21 and nobody really comments on my size as too thin or too big (still culturally quite thin). I would like to get to 22 or 23. Muscle tone will be less but I think it would be a good look.
Love this video! Amazing content. I was on the lower end of healthy BMI in my 20s and had very little facial definition. I've only started to see my natural cheekbones and jawline defined as I turned 32 and lost some of the facial fat. Never thought I would look better in my 30s than 20s.
@@aleksandram7611 Glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you for sharing your story. Yes a lot of people prefer the way they look in their early 30’s when they lose some of the baby fat and their face has a lot of definition. At some point we want the baby fat back though lol
I have a pretty low bmi, like 18-20% my physician said to not lose anymore. As a woman, we need some fat, especially for our hormones to not get out of whack. I’ve always had chubby cheeks despite not having high body fat.
You make the best videos Emily. You always have new information or present it in a different way, and your content is always so educational. It's not the same old as other YTbers.
A compact mid-face which is in proportion to the lower third is also considered ideal. A pudgy face makes the mid-face appear longer in a way. I.E. it makes the cheek area and jaw/chin area blend into each other as one long flat surface. In a lean face, the different dimensions of the face are clear.
About the 19 bmi mark point, I'm not really sure... I have been at that BMI mark and people thought I was sick... as in malnurished.. I'm now about 21.3, I have always had a round face (apart the 19 BMI period), I look much younger than my actual age with my dermatologist saying that in her opinion I won't need any HA and other anti wrinkles products for at least other 2 decade when I will be well in my 50's, but I think that by looking solely at my face, someone might assume my weight is higher... so the round face is a bless and a curse at the same time... especially with those beauty standards I always feel like I don't fit...
Thank you for sharing Rosa. People with fuller, rounder faces seem to notice the signs of aging later than others which is great that she doesn’t think you’ll benefit from HA filler until later on. I could see how a fuller face would lead ppl to think your weight is higher. I’ll probably touch on this in my next video using Miranda Kerr and Gigi Hadid
@@NaturalInjector thanks a lot for replying! Yeah my dermatologist is a bit old school, she doesn't provide services such as fillers, she was referring to HA serum. I’ve used sculptra since 2005. I swear by it for the face. I’m about to do a neck PDO barbed thread lift because I have sagging from fascia loss as we all do, it isn’t all fat loss and it really isn’t skin. I never know why this isn’t talked about. I’ve been singing this song for years. The benefits of dissecting human cadavers is that you can’t be fooled. I’ll probably do a facelift in the next few years. Fortunately my thread lift will be free.
I lost a lot of weight and aged by 10 years at least. I ended up doing Botox and fillers and just a little Sculptra. the fillers and Botox metabolized super fast, not sure about the sculptra, I wish I would have done just Sculptra, I am almost 60 and should have spent all that money on rebuilding my collagen. So much skin is hanging down on my face now, looks so old, it's so disheartening. Even was used as a model for fillers a couple months after my first injections and that now too is all gone. $6k+ poof gone :((
Hi Debbie. Thanks for sharing your story. I love Scultpra! For that exact reason. I felt like filler was not lasting very long and I love building my own collagen with Sculptra. Which Facial Aging Type do you think you are since losing the weight?
I had a botched PDO thread lift. It added vollume where I absolutely did not want vollume. The added vollume added heaviness, which then sagged. The heaviness and sagging created a worse orange peel chin, jowls and marionette lines, and pillow face, which added 10 years to my face. It also created major asymmetry. I could not financially afford to get my face fixed and now, even 2 years later, you can still see all the effects of the botched procedure.
The difference is about 500g -1kg or so when it comes to BMI 19 and 18.5. I had been having a ‘skinny’ problem all my life as I was classified as ‘underweight’. I was hitting 18.5 and 18.9 BMI (49kg-50kg). I had higher muscles mass ratio and lower in fat mass, hence I was often advised to gain more weight for balance and to look ‘rounder’. I’ve tried to gain weight for almost 10-15 years. Recently I managed to gain up to 52kg (BMI 20 - normal), but oh boy… I wasn’t the same me anymore in terms of metabolic, fitness, flexibility and appetite. I realised that I have gained the weight around my belly instead of evenly throughout my body This being I am reaching 50 years old and pre- menopausal can have an effect on fat deposit and increase in visceral fat build up. So, be careful what you wish for. Getting more fat may not be necessary healthy and balanced. I’d rather be closer to underweight. The fanny or fat is really a hard choice.
I think body frame has A LOT to do with this; much more than the cookie-cutter BMI scale. My face looks it’s best when I’m a 17-19, but I have a very small frame. My cheekbones pop! Now in my 40’s, I’m most attractive at 90-92 lbs., and I don’t look sickly at all! I got up to 120 once, and I was WADDLING, had constant pain in my back & knees.
Yup ☺️ 5’2”, but I’m also pretty sedentary, therefore I have very little muscle mass. However, I do face yoga, so working out the facial muscles slows sagging, etc. Btw, I just subscribed! 🧘♀️
That’s cool! To see that, I’m 5’1 but I look best at 118-120 I got pregnant and In only 3 months went up two sizes Although I lost it , it permanently scared me , and I fear ever going through a full pregnancy. I was at 139 by 3 months But sure our body frames are entirely different which is why we look out best at different weights
I lift and I'm pretty sure I have body dysmorphia because I'm 5'7 at 200 lbs and 12% bf and I don't think I'm muscular or big enough. It's possible because I'm short and therefore will never feel big enough. Who knows. But, because to get where I'm at I've needed to go through many bulking and then cutting phases which gets you to both high and then low bodyfat %, I can tell you that you get treated way better at around 12% bodyfat. The opposite sex also looks at you more. At this bodyfat your face will be defined yet not gaunt and your muscles will also be defined but not to an extreme.
@@natehunt2454 Thank you so much for sharing your story. It’s a delicate balance isn’t it. When ppl get older, it becomes even harder to maintain good volume in the face if you are fit and lean. It’s so interesting to know that you feel you get treated better at a lower body fat and that the opposite sex looks at you more as well.
i’m 42yo, very petite. lost 8lbs in 2 months unintentionally from cutting out carbs and increased proteins. I freaked when i realized how gaunt i look. I’ve had 4 vials of sculptra in a span of 3 months (4 weeks apart) to all over my face. Still haven’t seen result. It is definitely very tough to wait to see the result that i don’t even know would come.
Threads work best in people who don’t really need volume but just need lift in my observation…and I like that they don’t get heavy in the skin and then shift like fillers seem to, with gravity. I don’t think they are a replacement for surgery though. But great as a way to prevent it for a long time. Fillers are excellent for people with hollow temples, lips that need a little help, or a week chin…even cheekbones so long as they are up on top of the bone. Some people get these huge threads and it can look weird, just like a bad facelift looks pulled. The ones I’ve seen that look awesome are done with tons of tiny threads to build the matrix and support the skin. Your videos are very interesting. So many times have seen people who need fuller in their face from anorexia, and they don’t want it! And others with round faces who want it when their face is already too full and only needs some lift. Good topic 👍🏽
Thank you so much for your in-depth comment. I think your observation is right on point. People who have a lot of facial fat or thick dense skin don’t really need volume so thread lifts are more suitable as opposed to those who do need more volume and can benefit more from filler or Sculptra. 👍.
BMI only works for women and skinny fat type males. But for me, being a athletic 6'4 tall man - I am considered obese by BMI 😂 while I look normal being up to 275lbs while having NO belly fat whatsoever (in fact I have visible abs even at 250lb!) At 250lbs I look normal weighted. I look malnourished though when my weight sinks below 220lbs. BMI is NOT a viable standardisation for athletic body type.
@@gameon2000 Thank you for sharing. BMI is not the only method that should be used to assess obesity because of people like yourself. As mentioned in the video there are flaws with i t. I remember in the military if someone was above the weight within their height, they would then resort to taking extra measurements of the persons neck, etc. If people are muscular they may be the above weight categories within the BMI ranges.
Love this video, my BMI is 15.7 😬😬 and my goal has always been to get it to 19, specifically because I want a fuller face, and people of my height who have the best facial fat always turned out to have a bmi of 19. but gaining weight is really hard for me.
I love my thread lifts and I still look like myself , but younger. Going on year two! I'm in NYC and it was NOT expensive. I only got it after speaking with an older friend who has had it for a few years (5) and still looks great, so I dont understand why you say it doesn't last long. After lots of research this was THE BEST decision over injectables!!! I believe you are biased, plain and simply, because you do NOT have the medical training and certification in thread lifts procedures.
There is no formal certification to do thread lifts. Also I came to the conclusion about thread lifts after asking a lot of people in this field, some being aesthetic practitioners who have had threads done on themselves even say it doesn’t last. I know aesthetic providers who have gone to other aesthetic providers who actually train other practitioners on how to do threads say that it doesn’t last. One of them being my very good friend who got trained while getting threads done by a very popular and experienced trainer for threads who speaks at national conferences . Just because I don’t like the idea of thread lifts doesn’t mean they are not suitable for other people. The key is, what works you doesn’t always work for other people. I have had patients who have liked their threads lifts but most I speak to say just what I mentioned in videos, they don’t last long and they are very expensive not to mention you can get pinching of tissue. I don’t care to have them done because I don’t like the idea of pulling my skin. This is after all, MY CHANNEL and people who come on this channel are interested in my opinion on things. You can make your own video to tell others of the wonderful experience you have had with threads. It seems you are biased on thinking that just because you had a good experience with threads that you cannot even sit with the idea that others can have a different opinion of them.
Thread lifts are useless and don’t last for what you have to pay so I agree with you. I see Francine Queen of Threads do them all the time and they look good in the after photos but 15 minutes after they leave the office they look exactly the same lol. And you don’t feel them if placed right but you do feel a twinge of pain for up to two weeks with facial movements.
After pregnancy I put on weight and all of a sudden I started getting asked for ID everywhere for even silly things like energy drinks. I was asked if I go to young mum clubs. I went from a size 6 to a 10. It really was so weird. I’m 31 lol
Im 5.10 I have a round face. I store fat on my face. No doubt i look better slimmer wnd top weight iook older. But definitely looked older bmi 19. I really think depends where you store it. Amanda Kerr would look so different at bmi 25 and lower one keeps her full face getting super full.
Damn I can’t be a bmi of 19 anymore. It makes me look so much older and my boobs get saggy. 😢 otherwise I’d love to. I’m 38 and I’ve heard at a certain point you need to pick your butt or your face lol. My bmi is 22.7 right now. If I lose 10 pounds it’ll be 21.1 though. I got to that weight 2 years ago and everyone was commenting on my weight loss. Not in a good or bad way- they just asked ‘did you lose weight?’ Which is crazy because it’s not a large amount of weight. I do want to lose a bit and gain some muscle buuuut I don’t want floppy titties.
This is interesting information. I think it would be good for researchers to look into the impact of cortisol and BMI and how that reflects on the face. Through most of my adult life, my BMI has been around 18-20. In the last year, I have gained weight due to chronic stress from PTSD. While my BMI is slightly higher (21-22), I have actually lost facial fat (people have told me I looked slimmer lol). I'm not yet 30, so I shouldn't have experienced too much volume loss just yet, but chronic stress does have a significant impact on the body. I recently got some cheek filler (0.5 ml on both sides) and lip filler (1 ml) to restore some of the lost volume.
So interesting. I wonder if cortisol contributed to losing more facial fat or if it’s just from time. Even though you’re not 30 and you’re very young, there are changes that happen from early 20’s to mid 20s to late 20’s. I started noticing my face sliming out in my late 20’s and I was happy about that because my features were more defined, but eventually with a few more years I had more volume loss and too much definition. Thanks for sharing your story.
@@harryrocco7139 Yes, its true if you have more muscle BMI may put you as being overweight when you’re not, this is why I made the point that BMI is sometimes flawed and used athletes as an example 👍
@@harryrocco7139 You mean my naturally full large lips? Oh yea, what a terrible facial trait to have nowadays. Large full lips are not attractive at all.
There's a slight misconception about the appeal of overweight people pre-1900's. They might have been seen as affluent, but they weren't seen as attractive. These images were mostly hand-drawn, and the weight was a visual indicator of the piggish gluttony associated with the overconsumption by the wealthy.
@@doubleclutchonline5811 I can certainly see that. I think a lot of people would correlate being affluent with being attractive, however it’s not the same thing. I also think that people who are on television are also seen as more attractive than they would be if they were a regular non famous person. I think there is something about familiarity of a face and people will find that face more attractive. Thanks for your feedback 👍.
Getting fillers distroyed my natural features. I had them done at the best clinic, so that's not the issue. Can you please address the risks associated with these injections? And the potential side effects of hyaluronidase?
I learned from a doctor that fillers are permanent! Yes a percentage of it does dissipate, and some of it can be taken out with enzymes. But there’s still a good amount that stays! It ends up as scar tissue that can’t be removed. You can see it on MRI’s. That’s how much it embeds itself in your facial tissue smh
It’s just so unfair- I went from BMI 26 to 20, losing more than 50lbs (without Ozempic) and my face still looks chubby. I guess I will look younger as I age, but it‘s kind of disheartening. If you saw just a headshot of me, you‘d think I was two sizes bigger than I am.
I looked insanely better with BMI =18. Now I am between 19 and 20, my cheeks are wide, double chin from a few angles in pictures and mouth is turning downturned. I am 46 with naturally thick skin
@@NaturalInjectorIt could be from aging. But why is new fat depositing on the face as I age that wasn't there? or maybe there is no new fat, fat is sinking down and the mouth is getting downturned, and fat is sinking under the chin causing a double chin. Normally I have seen a double chin on heavier people but seems like at a higher age, one can have a double chin at 110 lbs. Would be nice to know your opinion?
@@ShwetaKhemaniI could be wrong so take it with a grain of salt but I do believe regardless of if you weigh a lot or weigh well under the average for your age whatever that may be, some people with age are just genetically predisposed to have their fat pads go down I think.

Miranda Kerr, and Gigi Hadid also are very thin and probably have a low BMI and they also have round faces. Not sure hold old you are also, that plays a role too.
I can look at pictures of myself and see how much older my face looked when I was a UK size 6-8 and lower fat equal for me lower sex hormones and feeling slightly depressed. I look my best when I'm a healthy size 10-12 and I'm 5ft 4 and 9 St 5lbs with working out so it's a mix of fat and muscle. I can't have skinny and muscle because my body when it gets to a low fat percentage just eats through my body fat as my metabolism speeds up. Everyone's body is different, Like my face shows weight loss fast and the last place for my weight to go is my breasts and lower belly, I'm an apple shape.
Thank you for sharing your story Charlene! Yes everyone’s body is different. For some people the face is one of the first places they’ll notice weight loss and other ppl are usually able to tell when ppl lose weight as well at a certain threshold.
Thank you for sharing. So sorry to hear that. It’s very common for people to feel like their face looks older after losing weight. However, it’s great that you lost the weight. Just know that you have options and you can consider cosmetic injections. Remember that the facial fat was disguising the aging process.

Having less facial fat isn't necessarily unattractive. The key is whether your skin is tight, thick, and youthful. If so, having less facial fat might even make you more attractive. This can be observed in some young men under 25 who have very low body fat and exceptionally good skin. Often, having too little facial fat can look unattractive, primarily because the skin is no longer as tight, thick, or healthy as it was in youth. For example, Matthew McConaughey in "Dallas Buyers Club" was already 44 years old. His skin had become loose and thin, so having such low facial fat made him look unattractive. Conclusion: The tighter and thicker your skin, the broader your attractive BMI range can be, say from 21 to 25 as an example. However, if your skin is too loose and thin, it's best not to be too overweight or too underweight. Try every method possible to tighten and thicken your skin.
@@benpptung074 Thanks for the words of advice. I agree that having less facial fat is not necessarily unattractive and I think the key is every face is different and a lot of other things come into play. Yes a younger person can probably get away with being more underweight and it not looking as bad as if they are older and underweight or had low facial fat.
They used Sculptra to your forehead? Do you mean temples and cheeks or forehead and cheeks. I actually tried Sculptra to my neck a few weeks ago, too soon for the results but I’ll probably be making a video about it so hope you subbed and turned on notifications 🛎️. If you’re referring to the horizontal neck wrinkles you can use filler to soften them
I can understand how that would be scary BUT I think that your health is more important and if you feel you should lose weight than that would be best for your health. Being overweight can camouflage the aging process. The good news is if you lose the weight and it affects your face you can always do injectables. At some point we can all benefit from it.
Had considered a thread lift, until i had the dissolvable internal stitches used after a surgery. My body rejects the dissolvable internal stitches, they bump up and sometimes poke through the outer skin, fibers needing to be trimmed or pulled out. Feels picky, like fiberglass particles imbedded in the skin. The thread lifts use the same material as internal dissolvable stitches, that my body rejects. Would never get a thread lift done, knowing this now.
Oh wow really. Thank you for sharing. Do you know in particular what type of dissolvable sutures they used? I would also be cautious about Sculptra until you find out exactly what the allergy is
This is fascinating. However ... not matter how much fat I put on my face remains thin and has NEVER once looked full after being a baby. Even as a teen I had a slim face and sucken under eye hollows :( I don't wanna lose anymore facial fat. I still look young though people think I'm 26 and I'm 32
Thanks for sharing. Some people just have slender faces. My face is not prone to looking full either. I also had sunken under eye hollows until I did filler. You should check out my videos on Sculptra it’s really helped to give my face plumpness in the places I always felt like I lacked after a certain age.
I’m at the high end of a normal BMI but I have a lower body fat percentage because of my years of doing serious athletics like figure skating, biking, swimming and weight training. That said, I always had a naturally round, full “baby face”. For a non-surgical treatment, my doctor recommended Ultherapy for me. I was the perfect candidate with my age and the full “baby face”. It tightened my skin AND reduced the “fat” in my face to add more definition. I know that a lot of practitioners will not recommend that treatment for people with slim faces because Ultherapy DOES reduce the facial fat, and these folks end up looking older and saggier after treatment.
Hi Jennifer. Thanks for sharing your story! Good to hear you had good results with Ultherapy. A lot of times people with slim faces don’t want fat loss to happen and I’ve known a few ppl who said devices like the Morpheus unintentionally targeted their facial fat, which made the skin more saggy.
@@JackieMoss Thanks for your comment. I think that it’s still used somewhat but it’s not the only reference. For instance, in the military, if someone fell above the healthy weight range, they would then take a measurement of their neck circumference and maybe some other measurement, because as stated in this video, if you are very muscular, your muscle mass may make you heavier than the ranges for a “healthy” body weight.
After watching this vid, i dont know if to embrace my chubby cheeks or not. I dont want to look like ed sheeran, but i dont want early wrinkles. my bmi is 21 btw, i just have naturally chubby cheeks. People said it fits me but i dont love it, honestly a big dilemma for some reason
No it’s according to this study 👉 www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6308207/#B70. There have been other studies done that showed slight differences of that the most attractive BMI was but according to the CDC 19 for women is considered healthy weight 👉 www.cdc.gov/healthyweight/assessing/bmi/adult_bmi/index.html#InterpretedAdults
i think many people don't realize, most of the time looking attractive is synonymous with looking healthy, i believe for the majority of people if they stay at a healthy body fat percentage, eat a mostly non junk diet, even light exercise, shower, other basic hygiene, that will make them attractive
from there you can boost it more by learning specific things that are perceived as attractive, hair being one such thing, hairstyle matters a lot and it can depend on things such as face shape, body shape, hair type etc.. being attractive takes effort, so don't assume that everyone attractive is just lucky!
Excellent points! I literally touched on what you said about attractiveness being linked to being healthy in my latest video. Hair makes a huge difference too and in the future I want to make videos about hair.
I’ve always known even at a young age, if you’re attractive you get treated better. More people men and women are more inclined to help you.
@@Bunny11344 👍 yep. Sad but probably true. I also think it’s important to have a nice pleasant personality too but we see appearances before we know someone’s personality so appearances are powerful in that way.

Weight loss is no joke. One of the hardest processes ever😢
👍 certainly is
start with sleep and stress control first, then go food consumption and sport activity - only after you'll see much faster results of your weight loss. Confirmed by me.
Naaaah - being dumped after long term relationship feels a lot harder. Although loosing weight is easy af lol
Not for me, I lose weight by just wanting it lol
For me maintaining is much harder than loosing. I could easily become a chopstick but lingering at a good weight is harrrrrd asf.
I'm very happy for Rebel Wilson. Her weight loss makes her face look very different but man she looks so healthy now and that's more important.

I always pined for a sculpted chiseled look but as I've gotten older I appreciate that having a naturally rounder softer shaped face can make it easier to maintain a slim physique without as much noticeable volume loss !
Yes having a fuller face definitely makes facial volume loss less noticeable 👍
Ok but there is a difference between a FAT face and a full face. Excess fat is not attractive but a naturally full face can be attractive. It has to do with ratios and bone structure. If you lack those, you're also ugly but in all cases, excess fat no matter where it's located, I generally NOT attractive. @@Baphomets_Kid Wow thanks for sharing. That’s interesting to know you feel it made that drastic of a difference in how others treat you!

@ Thanks for sharing your thoughts William. Are you talking about general success or success with losing weight?
I wish to point out that most people want people who have natural faces. Money is best spent on other healthy things in life.
She acknowledged that at length.
Agreed, BMI is not so great. A BMI of 19 for women could compel people to want to lose weight at the cost of muscle mass, which we need as we age.

What’s your secret to stay wrinkle free?:)

Excellent presentation, absolutely makes sense to keep your weight at a healthy level, not too thin.

RD here: a BMI of 19 is dangerously close to “underweight” (BMI 18.5 and below). Additionally as you age, a thinner face makes one look even older.
19 is normal and 18.5 is underweight. I also mentioned in the video that thinner face does tend to look older.
Only true for old people

Of couse, young people don't usually look old.
Oh wow. I’m guessing your very petite based on your weight.
Yup ☺️ 5’2”, but I’m also pretty sedentary, therefore I have very little muscle mass. However, I do face yoga, so working out the facial muscles slows sagging, etc. Btw, I just subscribed! 🧘♀️
That’s cool! To see that, I’m 5’1 but I look best at 118-120
I got pregnant and In only 3 months went up two sizes
Although I lost it , it permanently scared me , and I fear ever going through a full pregnancy. I was at 139 by 3 months

But, because to get where I'm at I've needed to go through many bulking and then cutting phases which gets you to both high and then low bodyfat %, I can tell you that you get treated way better at around 12% bodyfat.

I’m in nyc too. Where did you go to get them??
Thread lifts are useless and don’t last for what you have to pay so I agree with you. I see Francine Queen of Threads do them all the time and they look good in the after photos but 15 minutes after they leave the office they look exactly the same lol. And you don’t feel them if placed right but you do feel a twinge of pain for up to two weeks with facial movements.
😆 15 minutes. Yea I heard they don’t last as long as we would like them to. I just don’t like the idea of tacking the skin up.

Thanks for sharing your story. Do you mean Miranda Kerr? She has a very round full face.
one of reason why asian is skinny is we easiliy gain faicial fat. from my asian perspective, non asian's face is skinny even they are over 100kg
Interesting. I also notice East Asians tend to have more facial fat. Thanks for sharing!
Imagine listening to this woman!!! Look at her friggin lips
Also bmi has little to do with obesity...it totally disregards muscle volume

Emily, What a Great Video! Informative as always! 🌸
Thank you for sharing. Do you think these changes have to do with being a higher BMI or from aging?
@@MonkeyLiggaScrumptiousNanImportant to know the problem before the solution can be devised so fat pad sink rather than 5 lbs wt. issue that may not be solved by losing 5 lbs. So what is the solution for pushing the fat pad up. I would think one is surgery - remove fat from lower face and push it back from where it was lost
Profhilo is a God send for face weight loss
If I want to gain weight in face? Profjilo isn’t good?
I am 45 and I was in and out of a coma for months and in the ICU. I had lost 62lbs., they wouldn't let me leave until I gained weight, my face is still gaunt even though I'm about 15lbs. too much for my petite frame.
@@Saravon Thank you so much for sharing your story! The good news is you are out of your coma! There are non surgical treatment options should you decide to try and improve the gauntness.
My BMI is less than 16 but i still have a round chubby face
Miranda Kerr, and Gigi Hadid also are very thin and probably have a low BMI and they also have round faces. Not sure hold old you are also, that plays a role too.
Rebel Wilson will be a gem in which she needed to develop her personality now she is hot.
Yea she definitely looks better. I know some of her fan base was upset because she lost weight but good for her
I have a normal bmi, I’m 12 and i stand at 5’0, 46kg and a bmi of 19.4
My doctor recently said my BMI is almost perfect at 24.68, the lower end of 25 of what's perfect.
Under 18.5 is too low. 18.5-24.9 is healthy and 25 plus is overweight
@@gingerlee726 Thanks for clarifying this.
I lost a ton of weight and my fiance said I suddenly looked 'different and old.' Makes me feel like.. :(
Thank you for sharing. So sorry to hear that. It’s very common for people to feel like their face looks older after losing weight. However, it’s great that you lost the weight. Just know that you have options and you can consider cosmetic injections. Remember that the facial fat was disguising the aging process.
@@NaturalInjector I spent a FORTUNE on them from the best md in this city and they made zero improvement. IS there anything I can do? Ty so much!! I appreciate you time and energy toward helping people.
Threads last 6-12 months. Not sure the cost I just know people that have done them. I never touched their face though. I ll have to ask them if they can feel it.
@@prophetseven728 Thanks for sharing. That would be interesting to know. It probably depends on the type of threads
@@NaturalInjector Also on how your body reacts and heals. I get sick for an hour while others get sick with the same for 2-3 weeks. My body would most likely desolve trends in 3 months. But, maybe not. I have not used them myself.

Excellent video. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it Bruce! Feel free to share it with a friend 🤗
A bmi of 19 would look so sickly on me, that’s crazy that that’s seen as the ideal face at bmi 19 in women
I agree about sculptra! I used to use voluma for Cheeks and forehead now use sculptra love it ❤ what do recommend for neck wrinkles and to tighen ?
They used Sculptra to your forehead? Do you mean temples and cheeks or forehead and cheeks. I actually tried Sculptra to my neck a few weeks ago, too soon for the results but I’ll probably be making a video about it so hope you subbed and turned on notifications 🛎️. If you’re referring to the horizontal neck wrinkles you can use filler to soften them
What is that? And how often do you use them?

I’m 36 and want to lose around 15 kilo but I’m scared I’ll look old afterwards!
I can understand how that would be scary BUT I think that your health is more important and if you feel you should lose weight than that would be best for your health. Being overweight can camouflage the aging process. The good news is if you lose the weight and it affects your face you can always do injectables. At some point we can all benefit from it.
@@NaturalInjectoryea there’s injectables but nothing compares to natural facial fat
I would also be cautious about Sculptra until you find out exactly what the allergy is
Awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it
This is fascinating. However ... not matter how much fat I put on my face remains thin and has NEVER once looked full after being a baby.
I guess the better your bone structure and bone density, the easier you can „transform“ your face shape with bodyfat.
Bone structure is definitely important
Its so funny, thin may be more desirable, but MANY people would prefer thicker Chtis Pratt….and Rebel Wilson types.
Bmi has been debunked as far as telling us who’s obese.

Are the most attractive BMIs for men and women swapped? 19 is an extremely low BMI for a woman.
