As a fellow anthropologist, I love how you use it to acknowledge ancestry and to describe sexual attractiveness in how it plays a part in the role of the history of human sexuality, neoteny is proven to increase attractiveness and desire! I appreciate the informative nature not only of the benefits but the possible consequences of over doing lip filler. I’ve been injected by Emily twice and have been more than pleased with the results. When I shared with friends and family, they said they noticed an enhancement in my face but couldn’t pinpoint it was my lips until I pointed it out. I immediately wanted more but Emily suggested we wait awhile, and she was right. She is incredibly ethical and invested in her patients getting the best results possible. Can't wait to work with you again and thank you for providing us with these facts and guidance.
Thank you Nicole for your delightful & elaborate comment 🙏🙏🙏. I’m also so fascinated by the concept of Neoteny and how it plays into attraction. I’m so glad you found the video interesting, especially as a fellow anthropologist! I look forward to seeing you again 🥰.
If you observe paintings from the 1800s you'll see that big lips weren’t a thing back then. Society changes along with our ideas of beauty. I think the shape and color of your lips is more important than the size when it comes to sex appeal. Maybe not thin but petite lips actually have a cuter and more delicate look. Lets not confuse thin lips with small lips.
@@あかり-j3y6b I think that plump lips were always attractive but when it became possible for people to enlarge their lips without the use of surgery, so easily and quickly done with lip filler, then people started understanding just how important it played in physical attraction. I also think that this made it ok to admit the large lips were a beautiful feature. It’s interesting that people of African ancestry were made fun of tor having large lips. I think that the only reason it started to become praised is because it became easily accessible to everyone, so now that everyone could have full lips society admit that this feature was indeed beautiful.
very well said. just because angelina jolie has big lips, doesn't mean they'll look good on you, because you have a different face! i wish people would focus more on enhancing their own unique beauty rather than conforming to one standard and ending up looking uncanny more often than not.
Yes. A lot of times it’s not that they would not look good with her lip size, it’s just that their lip anatomy can only allow so much filler to be placed in their lips before it looks indurated and hard, which is the dead giveaway.
I totally agree with this. Especially when it comes to makeup. This might be a hot take, but every woman does their makeup in the exact same way, and they all look the same. That’s just not attractive to me. I find that when these woman who all look the same take off their makeup, I’m stunned with how different they look without it. They look so much more unique and beautiful without it. Not saying makeup is bad or ugly and people shouldn’t do it, but just don’t overdue it to the point where you don’t even look like yourself. Enhance your own unique beauty!!! And frankly F the K family!
@@gabriellehellenbrand898 I totally agree on makeup. I don’t feel like myself or attractive if I can’t see my skin when layers and layers of makeup are applied. I’ve actually had my friends comment saying that I looked better with less makeup so I actually wear less now than when I was younger.
I agree. I've seen people who looked better with small nicely shaped lips. Even if they looked good with big lips, you could just tell that smaller lips looked better on their face. I personally think beautiful eyes are more important than lips size when it comes to attraction
I got my lips done for the first time when I was 18. I made the appointment when I was 17 and made it 2 days after I had turned 18- as soon as I could get in. I was over the moon excited. Over the years I’ve had my lips done over 15 times in total. I got addicted, and it’s an expensive addiction. Thousands and thousands of dollars. I loved how feminine I felt, and It made my nose smaller, and balanced out my face yet I was never truly happy with my result. I always wanted more, always wanted to go bigger and bigger. I noticed that I have little nodules in my lips. Bumps in the skin that haven’t really gone away and I feel some kind of nerve pain occasionally when I press on a certain area around my lips. It’s definitely a major decision getting injected, wether that be your lips, or face in general. I think people need to be truly educated on it and know exactly what they’re getting themselves into
Thank you so much for sharing your story! Your story really resonates, and it’s why I made this video. So many start out wanting natural looking lips and then lip filler blindness sets in. It’s so beautifying the first time and I think people chase that initial high. I’m just curious, did you go to the same injector each time?
@@NaturalInjector This was such an informative video, I learned so much! Good question, I saw 4 different injectors throughout my lip journey. For the past 2 years though I’ve been sticking to just one injector it was kind of hard for me to find someone that I felt completely comfortable with!
Oh my god the woman with the “small upperlip” was gorgeous with her natural lips , rare beauty . She is the perfect example of what you said about not everyone has to look like angelina jolie.
Yes you’re correct. You don’t have to have large full Angelina lips to be beautiful. In many cases if you get lip filler that looks natural, it will enhance your beauty.
I've done lip fillers many times by a great professional. That's all we need! We need caring professionals that say no when we want to have our lips overfilled.
My injector is very conservative. I always like the results immediately after, but when the filler settles, I always want more. My injector declines doing more.. I get 1ml of Defyne. Very informative video, of course..
A lot of people say they love the way their lips look when they’re swollen and I always tell them that your lips are going to swell and the swelling will always go away. Thanks for watching!
The same thing happened to me I got my lips done the 1st and after settling I was so mad she barely did anything I’m currently looking for someone else
@@TheNerdPretty I think they should give u what u want as long as it's not a safety problem beauty is subjective just bc they don't think it looks good don't really mean anything.
When I got my lips done the first time I was afraid any more than 0.5ml would be too much. My friend had hers done before and her lips are a completely different size and shape and 0.5ml was perfect for her. However the injector advise that I have a lot of room in my lips as they are already quite full and have more skin which can take more filler without looking obvious compared to people with very thin lips who want to jump straight to 1ml+ for their first time. I followed her advice and even with 1.5ml my lips look naturally enhanced and soft. It really just depends on your anatomy. Sometimes just having big lips isn’t right for your facial proportions and just because someone had a certain ml, doesn’t mean you will need the same.
Great point some people who have tissue that gives more and is not as tight can take more filler to their lips than a half syringe and in those cases I I am able to inject more and they can have natural looking results. Most of the patients I treat are on the thinner lips side which is why they are coming in for treatment. You are very lucky to have lips that expand easily compared to those who have tighter skin tissue. This is why customization is so important.
I’m 70 & my top lip has almost disappeared, but I’m not interested in fillers. I’m hoping more young ladies will see your video & avoid the “pandemic”. Great information! 👍
Thanks Kathryn! Everyone’s lips age and deflate with time and I just want you to know that you can restore the lost volume to your lips and look completely natural. (And avoid the overfilled lip pandemic. 👍). Thanks for watching!
Have you tried a lip flip with botox yet? Subtle, but very beautiful look. Perfect for the upper lip and it avoids that duck look most women end up with when using fillers.

Agreed! Women should be taught to appreciate and accentuate their natural beauty, and lip liner works just as well and costs infinitely less at about $5.99 per lip pencil!
At 42 I experience loss of little volume all around my lips closer to the lip line. It becomes more apparent when I wear lipstick. I am relieved to know that it is fixable. It is not always about enhancing your beauty but retaining your beauty.
I’ve gone to Emily for lip flips and forehead botox and I can’t recommend her enough!! I love her authentic and passionate drive for her work. Truly an artist! I know when I’m thinking about enhancing my lips a little more with filler, it’ll definitely be with her :)
I hear so many men say "i hate the way lip filler looks". Basically I take that as they don't like obviously, overdone lips. Because there's probably plenty that he seen that he liked but didn't know were "done".
Exactly, i used to believe men when they say that, but i’ve seen too many men describe people with OBVIOUS work done as “natural beauties” lol. The “we like natural women more!” line has just turned to radio static
@@kayp9318 It’s only natural to want to sexually appeal to the gender you’re attracted to, even in the animal world. I feel that as long as you don’t lose yourself, there’s no harm in it🤷♀️
I took the plunge and dissolved my over filled bottom lip and some migration above my top lip. Had them refilled correctly. So happy I didn't just live with it.
I’m so happy you didn’t live with them either.. Thanks for sharing your story and please share this video with any friend you think could benefit from seeing this. 🤗
Did it swell more to have them dissolve? I heard the dissolver can mk your lips swell even more and its painful and did you do them all at once or a lil at a time?
When I got my tear trough filled 4ish years ago, I told my injector that I was totally okay with having a small under eye crevice. I did not need a full syringe whatsoever. My main concern was looking tired all the time, and people commenting on it. I told her to not over do it at all. I am lucky that I never had to go back and re-do my filler. The results are still there. I see young people (like myself) constantly wanting to fill every little natural crevice they see, and end up overfilling and migrating to other parts of the face. So sad IMO.
Thanks for sharing your experience. The last conference I went to advised never to use more than 0.5mL of filler for each side of the tear trough. The results can be very long lasting. I still have my results since 2015 when I last filled them.
As usual Emily’s videos has been most informative for educated consumers.. for I it is a remarkable benefit .. what better way of making a lifetime decision than having a comprehensive education on the very subject of your decision..Emily’s videos are incredibly amazing as well as well thought out!!
Please please talk about at home lip fillers! People have been buying hyalaron pens (typically used for diabetics to get their insulin) and injecting themselves with filler or even charging people and injecting them. Mind you these people have no education on human facial anatomy or anything truly needed for this kind of service. I would love for you to bring light on this topic, you’re so graceful and informative!
I thought that fad was dying out. I know others have made videos on this topic. I have a list of video to make but if I get the time I can. I would like to make another video on dissolving lip fillers and I’m currently looking for models who want their lips dissolved and then we can refill it. Glad you are enjoying the content and I hope you subbed and turned on notifications.
. I turned 40 this year, and I have started giving serious thought to having my lips done for the first time. I'm only looking to match the width of my top lip with my bottom lip, but I want it to look as natural as possible. I feel a lot less bamboozled after watching this video. Thank you. ❤
I went to someone who is known for a more natural look. I love my results. But yes it is addicting and you end up wanting more so it’s best to trust what your injector thinks. They are the professionals so they should know when your lips do or don’t need more filling.
I recall people with nice full lips getting teased, i also recall larger lips being considered ugly and now all of a sudden most women want those same lips that people have considered inferior for the last decade.
Good point. I believe full large lips were always sexy. As long as your other facial features was balanced. I think that people finally admit that full large lips were sexy when hyaluronic acid lip filler hit the market and now everyone can enhance their lips and make their lips fuller, so I feel they finally admit and gave lips, as a facial feature, the praise that they always deserved.
yeah i personally dont really care and i even prefer "normal" thin lips (i have full lips) but i DEFINITELLY hate filled lips since they allways look ridiculous, like changing this VV shape to a UU shape LOL
What an entertaining and informative video! Thank you for making beauty education so fun and interesting. If I was in LA I would book an appointment with you, it’s nice to find someone so committed to natural looking enhancements ❤️
Interesting points. When you started talking about lip filler blindness and how people lose sight of what normal is supposed to look like because they become accustomed to the abnormal, and then you said to look at your injector and if they have overfilled lips that’s a sign that they themselves suffer from lip filler blindness and may over inject you too. I instantly thought of tana mongeaou’s lip filler lady mama yooni or whatever she calls her. The lady at 7q spa.
I tried to find this mama yoomi person that treated Tana. I couldn’t find anything. Curious to see what the injector looked like, so if you have a link to that video please send it here I would love to see. The only thing I found was when she was treated by Joanna the Nurse. Her lips did not appear natural looking at all after that treatment.
@@NaturalInjector ua-cam.com/video/z9eXPVs6cek/v-deo.html She’s the one that comes in with champagne, with the dark rimmed glasses. She’s been going with tana to events/vacations too. It’s like she’s become part of tana’s squad.
True. I’ve had girls with very full lips ask if I think they need lip filler and I tell them that I don’t think they need it. What one person does to enhance their beauty doesn’t carry over to everyone.
Thank goodness I found Emily. I have wanted to do something to improve my appearance after I retired for so long. See was extremely professional, very knowledgeable, and aleaved all my fears regarding my procedure. I am super happy with my results!
the patient with the smaller upper lip had lips that were so naturally beautiful and unique- it reminds me of those painted porceline dolls, such a rare look. Not saying it to discredit her life choices though, after all, to each their own and what matters is what the person wants to do with their own body/style
We need to be smart about what we do to ourselves, I do get swayed in this fuller lip trend, but I'm aware my anatomy wouldn't look as all the 20yo influencers, plus I don't want to look like them. It's ironic we think we like in a "body positivity" scene while we still are bombarded to change our bodies to follow trends, my brain sometimes can't keep up.
I totally feel you. Trends will come and go but doing things that genuinely enhance your beauty will live on. Although lip filler is trendy it will remain being popular for those people that have thinner lips because it really enhances their beauty.
This video is so informative and well said ❤ ive got an appointment to have mine done soon so i needed this video to help me understand the procedure better ❤ thank you 😊
I'm scared of getting lip fillers or duck lips. 😢 most people look awful due to migration! I don't want to deform my lips but proper respect for you for educating us not for the sake of money!
I saw that video last night and I liked it! It’s very good that you use your own natural look as a guide post for people getting their lips done. The idea is that it shouldn’t be obvious and you lay out pretty well the things that makes it so! Congratulations and keep making great content
I love how educational your videos are. I love how you take a natural approach with your patients instead of creating caricatures. I'm wanting to do fillers but have a fear of looking overdone and silly. Your videos are helping me understand what to avoid and what I should realistically expect for a natural look. And by the way, you are both intelligent and beautiful💜.

This is why I love my plastic surgeon. She will tell me when I don't need Botox somewhere or that my filler is still fine. I have a hard time "seeing" what I look like and she won't try to push anything on me.
I can't thank you enough for this video!! I've been wanting to get my lips done but have been extremely nervous about the results. This video helped me make an informed decision and I cancelled my appointment. Thank you again!
@@NaturalInjector I decided it wasn't worth the risk of migration. Also, I live in a fairly small town and I could not find any reviews specifically about lip injections from the place I had scheduled an appointment with.
I'm happy I found this video. I have always had tiny, thin lips. I was always made fun of growing up because the girls I went to school with all had full lips so I was always "snow bunny with little lips" lol. It made me insecure so much that at 34 I got .5ml in my lips. I loved it...so soft and natural. Now a year later, this morning, I got them done again but 1ml. I was thinking I like this size more...I started thinking ugh I might want to add more. I needed this video so I just stay at the natural look I'm at. Thank you!
I’m so glad that this video was helpful to you! Lip filler can indeed leave people wanting more and more. 🤗. Just remember to keep referring back to your baseline photo.
OMG: thank you! I already have some full lips and I was planning to get filler but I have an addictive personality so I think this could become a problem for me. Thank you!!
I know people have said that to me and I insist that if it’s done to look completely natural then you won’t be able to tell if someone has lip filler. A lot of my patients say ppl did not know they had filler. The only case of someone knowing if someone had lip filler is if they had access to pictures of the person before any filler, and if they studied those pictures and compared it to what they look like now then they could speculate. This is what we do to celebrities and how we know some celebrities have most likely had lip filler. Say for instance Nicole Kidman (she doesn’t look natural to her cheeks) but if we look at her lips and she was just an ordinary person that didn’t have pictures and movies to reflect back to to compare, I would not be able to say for sure that she had her lips done because her lips look natural (even though her cheeks don’t).
I just got lip filler yesterday and I absolutely do not like it! Even right after it was injected and she gave me the mirror I thought it looked unnatural for me. I tried to tell the injector prior to my session that I wanted a very subtle and natural look. I didn't get the feeling that she was listening very well and that should have been my warning to back out. Another warning should have been that she looked overfilled to me. The receptionist also looked overfilled, but I thought that we their desired look and not what they would try to achieve with each patient. I will try to wait for the healing process to do its thing, but based on what I said right after the injection happened I will probably end up having to dissolve my very first lip filler injection.
Oh my! This is the first time that I can't immediately say that someone had lip fillers! What a fantastic job and great informative video! I wish I can find someone that does the same great job as you do!
Thank you for your kind words! A lot of my patients don’t want anyone to know they had their lips done and if you can tell someone has lip filler then it usually means they are over-injected.
This was such an informative, entertaining video. I can tell you put a lot of effort into it. I had Restylane Kysse put into my lips. The first time I absolutely loved it. I went back 6 months later and only had 1/2 syringe but I think it migrated above my lip and I could see filler in my skin above my lip. The worst part though was the filler cast a shadow on my upper lip and it looked like a mustache. I couldn't wait for the filler to go away. It luckily went away in about 3 months but that experience scared me enough that I won't do lip filler again. I don't think the structure of my lips can support lip filler. Have you seen other people complain about the "mustache" look? It truly is awful.
Thank you Deborah so glad to here you thought it was entertaining. Sounds like you reached your tipping point when you had additional filler put in the second time. I think it’s definitely possible to do lip filler and have it look natural should you want to do it again. As you saw from the video, everyone’s lips deflate with age so everyone will need lip filler eventually. I have had people complain about what they refer to as the area above their lip looking like “a shelf” and yes that can sometimes cast a shadow to the area which is probably what you feel looked like a mustache. Just curious about 2 things: 1). Were you gong for a lip enhancement, or restoration (lost volume due to age 2) did you go to the same injector both times?
@@bubbybets9336 Oh yes the line in the video. For those people who want to remain looking their best, then we eventually all get to the point in which we lose volume to our lips due to aging, that’s what I was referring to. For instance, I don’t really need lip filler to my lips at the moment but eventually I will want to restore the lost volume due to aging.
Something I've learned as an adult. 1 in 7 REGULAR ASS women over 30 have some type of filler, lip flip, botox, etc. I am 36 and finally really looking into it, but I really just want the lip flip! My lips are very small in that they are like "doll lips" , close together towards the front of my face, but they are fairly full. The main issue I have is the space of my filtrum!
I just found your channel and love how informative all your videos are! Thank you! I’ve had a little lip filler done in the past and it dissolves so quickly. The first time I had it done it lasted a few months and the second (and last time) I ever had it done, it swelled and bruised immediately and after the swelling went down, my lips went back to normal. I know I wasn’t experiencing filler blindness - I had photos to prove they looked the same! Have you seen this happen before with your patients? Does it mean they need more or are some not fit for filler? I stopped after that as to not waste money, but am considering getting a little done again and am worried the same thing will happen.
This video is so interesting and helpful. My friend has done her lips like four times and she still uses filtres on Instagram that make her lips look even bigger. I don't think this is good, that means that she wants more and more filler
Do her lips look natural looking to you? Filters can be so misleading and when you see yourself in a normal photo with no filter then it can be disappointing which is why I try not to use them too much.
Ugh . I honestly think the Jenners got buy one get one deals on the Fish Lip Package 🤣. I know that’s mean to say . But they kept on going. I see ya answered my question on soft fillers . Thank you 😊
This was such a informative video! I am still thinking about getting my lips done, the doubting definitely started after seeing so many botched lips around. Now I know what to look for and what to keep in mind. I do have a question… I have naturally thin lips, I think that I don’t have much space for filler. If I go and get my lips done with 0,5 ml, would that have a lasting effect after just one treatment? Or is It something I have to keep doing, every 6 months/year. Going back still scares me. I see people who start off with natural looking lips after some treatments but with time, it just looks funny. (Even with a small amount of filler) And then when they fully remove it, it looks so good. A bit more full then what they naturally had. And what makes the difference from person to person, is it because some people’s body dessolves HA faster?
Hi Jillian glad you found the video helpful. It is possible that half a mL would have a lasting effect but longevity usually increases after a few treatments. Yesterday I had a patient who had very thin lips and she had results for over 1 year and she only treated her lips 2 times. Yes how fast you metabolize HA is different for everyone. You should not let it scare you just make sure that you do your diligent research when looking for a cosmetic provider. Make sure that they specialize in natural looking results and that they also look natural. If you make sure to keep these 5 tips in mind it’s likely that you will avoid having the dreaded overfilled look.
Your comment means the 🌎 to me thank you so much Dr. Cerón 🙏. A lot of work goes into these videos and I try to make them as educational & entertaining as possible so it’s so great to hear your feedback. Glad it inspires you. 🤗
I have been getting my lips filled by the same plastic surgeon since 2016 who is probably considered one of the best surgeons when it comes to facial/aesthetic cosmetic treatments where I live and is usually very modest with her approach. However I have really bad migration on the left side of my top lip. My mouth anatomy is a wave shape so the left side curls under but the right side curls over(like Lisa Kudrow) so when looking at me the left side looks thinner than the right side. Over the years she has kept trying to correct it with more and more filler even though I keep telling her I don't care if they look asymmetrical just keep the same amount of filler on both sides. I have lost a fair amount of weight so the migration is even more obvious now. I pointed it out to her the other day and was shocked when she said that it was it was barely noticeable. I was hoping she'd see the problem and have a "game plan" or something as to how we can go about fixing it but she didn't see the issue :/
@@NaturalInjector she actually did dissolve some of it last year but it clearly wasn’t much and made no difference at all! I’m mostly irked at the fact that she didn’t seem to see the issue especially since she’s considered to be one of the “best”(aesthetically) among the local plastic surgery community. I have an appointment with a different doctor at the same facility so at least she’ll have access to my files and I’m hoping she’ll be able to see things differently. Also on second look, it’s clear that BOTH sides of my lips need dissolving(my bottom lips too >_
I wish I had known this before I got my lip filler. I was born with very small lips and wanted more definition in my border and to enhance my upper lip to match my lower, albeit small, lip. The first injector I went to just defined my border and didn't add any body, so I went to another injector who allowed me to get two injections within a six month period. You can probably guess what happened....IT MIGRATED. I had to get it dissolved, which was a nightmare in and of itself. For whatever reason, my injector could not see the migration. I had to continuously go back to her to get the damn stuff dissolved. In the end, it ended up dissolving some of my GOOD tissue, and now I have a slight indentation on my right side. Also, I still have a tiny bit of filler left that migrated towards my cupids bow (because she couldn't see what I was referring to when saying it had migrated). I refuse to get it dissolved because I don't want it to take my natural tissue. UGH. The struggle is real, ya'll.
Thankfully, microneedling is (slowly) starting to help with the tissue indentation. And nobody notices the tiny migration on the cupid's bow (or if they do, they lie to me haha). So, I can live with where I am today. I could NOT have lived with migration for the rest of my life, though.
Thank you so much for sharing your story! So the injector that did your lip enhancement was the same person who dissolved your lips? If it helps, I always ask the patients who I’m dissolving their lip filler, for a picture of how their lips looked before so we have an idea of how much dissolving is needed and can compare. If the same injector did your enhancement, she should have your photos to compare.
Awesome video!! I'd also like to see a video on what lip fillers look like very long term, like decades later. I'm wondering if they start to look distorted or if skin gets stretched out and saggy. I'm also interested to know if there are any dangers long term to using lip plumping gloss, and if it's really possible to get any long term plumping from these. Thanks!
If I get just a little filler in my lips to keep them looking naturally plump and don't do it constantly then does that mean my lips won't look unnatural?
I can see your point 👍. It is possible to inject it and not get the “shelf look” but you have to be VERY careful with injecting this area as there is a low threshold before you can tip them over and their border looks “done.”
Just had filler and I'm not happy. I did not go in for lip filler. I just wanted to get ride of the vertical lines above the lip that comes with age. I'm 52. My injector proceeded to inject my actual lips. I didnt say anything because she is the professional, right? Well here I am with swollen lips and duck bill and hard. All I wanted was the few lines above my lip gone, not big lips. Live and learn.
Thank you for the very educational video! Depending on the person's anatomy, do you think 1-1.2ml is ever appropriate? I am getting Versa soon and opted for getting the "full syringe" with keeping in mind we may not use the whole thing!
Weird. Because I went to my spa to get my lips 💋 done. I've only got lip filler a few times. My injector has never went overboard. My injector doesn't work at the spa any longer. She was amazing. I went back, and saw a new injector and she said she couldn't do my lips because of lip migration. However, I have bad teeth and I have to get my entire teeth pulled, and get new teeth. I notice my teeth started to buck out in front.. I mentioned that to her, and she said yes, that's a possibility. Since my teeth are so bad, my teeth are moving outward, and it's making my lips appear migrated?? What's your thoughts? Because I haven't got that much lip filler done. I'm wondering if you have ever heard of Teeth or teeth structure be an issue. Thx so much. Appreciate any feedback.
I think it’s possible that if your teeth are protruding outward it can make your lips appear to be more protrusive. Perhaps she thinks you should taken care of before she does more filler. When I see ppl for migration it’s very apparent if the lips are overfilled and I assess the lip tissue itself. This video should be helpful! 👉 ua-cam.com/video/d_Kc9PArzLM/v-deo.html
I’m glad you found this video helpful! I hope I didn’t deter you from getting lip filler. It can really enhance someone’s appearance, depending on the person. I do think that people go too far though and they focus on the lips as if it’s the only feature on their face. There are many other ways to enhance someone’s beauty and I hope you find my other videos helpful.
I did not have a good result with lip filler, so asked to have it dissolved. My lips didn't look bigger or fuller at all and even seemed to accentuate lip lines when I pursed my lips. The first dissolve didn't seem to make any difference, so I did another dissolve. Afterward, I ended up with lumps right above my lip on one side, which really sucks. The doctor did not acknowledge it and thought everything looked 'fine,' but it is very noticeable in the light. I have tried massaging the area but it hasn't worked and also seeking legal advice if there is a statute of limitations for things like this. Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve lumps in the skin after filler? I had a similar experience (with same doctor) from filler below my eyes. If I used an eye mask or sunglasses, I would get a strange indentation in the under eye area that would take awhile to go away. So I asked to have it dissolved, which left me with a small lump in the area! It has been incredibly disappointing. I would really appreciate anyone's advice who has had a similiar experience and what they did.
Love your channel! ❤ so happy I found it. I am 29 and starting to lose some volume never got filler before but they are a bit wrinkly now but lips are naturally voluminous.. I don’t plan on going more than 1.0 ml. To avoid migration would you reccommend 1.0 i also plan on using some of the 1.0 ml around the lips too. I want enough to enhance around the lips and ok the lips without being too much 😊❤
Hi Lauren! So glad you love the channel! I think that sounds like a good plan, it’s so so important to enhance around the lips if they have lost volume because they give the lips support. This video sounds like what you may be looking for 👉n ua-cam.com/video/Phy4Vc_7_2c/v-deo.html
No. No long term effects at this moment and we’ve been using lip fillers for several years. Just the possibility of scarring to the lips if overinjected or injected too frequently.
but everyone already has those lips now, there is literally no limit to how far people go with lip fillers and it always looks swollen and just irritating to look at, it's the new "instagram baddie" look that everyone strives for along with the fox eyes and that's why literally almost every girl now looks the exact same, a bunch of replicas everywhere
Yea I def see your point. There are a lot of ppl I see on IG with pinched noses with large full lips. When I first moved here to LA one of my friends from NY commented that no one has any individuality here.
@@NaturalInjector Exactly and all that aside I'm a new sub so I didn't even know you were based in LA hats and full respect to you for not going down that rabbit hole and for maintaining a strong personality and destroying your beautiful gorgeous face, riding the wave with everyone is what drowns people I'm glad you're your own person and best of luck with everything❤️
I just got 1/2 syringe in my lips of juvederm ultra and I can see the difference. But I don’t like them, They don’t look bad but I just want to wait for the filler to go away on it’s own. My question is after a year passes by would my lips be like they were before since I did only 1/2 syringe I want to know if they are going to have the same shape or if they will end up being uneven because they trained my muscle lip to be in a certain way?
Do you prefer one technique over the other? I know you mentioned you can overfill with both, but do you prefer standard or Russian? I have had injectors tell me not to do Russian, they hate it has become popular, etc but I really like the idea of it because I can’t seem to get my lips how I want. I feel like my lips look big horizontally whereas I love the idea of dissolving them and doing Russian because I see how it seems to put all the volume in the center and build vertical height. I just want a cute, pouty look 😩
I prefer the traditional method not the Russian lip technique. I don’t feel the traditional method will make the lips look flat, I feel that people get volume vertically as well as horizontally. The key is that it depends on what we are starting with. I can’t take someone with very thin lips and turn their lips into Angelina Jolie’s. Were you not happy with lip filer in the past?
Great question Angela. Not so much because those areas are do not have distinct borders and they’re not tubular structures. Also most injectors are very careful and conservative with the nose because of 2 reasons. 1) This area can have more complications because of the vascular anatomy, there’s a higher risk of going blind to this area. 2) You would want to be very conservative and add as little as possible to accomplish the job because you are ADDING filler and most ppl want smaller looking noses so by adding filler you are essentially adding volume to the nose. The jaw can actually take a lot filler and usually more than 2 syringes are needed.
I had lip filler done almost 4 years ago and my lips still won’t go back to normal. It’s not a lot, but they still haven’t gone back to their original shape. I hate the shape my injection gal did on me and it just seems like there’s filler still in there. Has anyone experienced this or know how how to resolve this? I miss my original lips and regret getting it done but I was always told it was temporary if I didn’t like it. I’m worried about trying to get anything dissolved because I was told that can even affect your lips as well.
If you still have some lip filler in and it’s been 4 years I would suggest dissolving it. In my experience it doesn’t have any negative effects. This video has more information on dissolving fillers. ua-cam.com/video/GtSoCfFwoDM/v-deo.html
@@NaturalInjector thank you so much! I’ve tried finding info on this and I’m haven’t had any luck in the past. Is there any way to see if there is for sure filler present before trying to dissolve?
@@annamarbellaofficial No real sure way but you and your provider can look at photos of you before you did any lip filler. This is why it’s important to keep your baseline photo at hand.
I dont think I want lip filler necessarily, but my cupids bow, or more so the ridge of my cupids bow up to my nose is just so prominent and deep. I dont feel like I want to get rid of it but I love that princess peach esque top lip and I cant even accomplish that with makeup because I dont have a good base to work off of. I guess my question is, if you see this, is there something like filler but for that space above the lip? Is that common and doable?
@@NaturalInjector yes it is that area! but its not flat, its actually a bit deep and pronounced which also makes my cupids bow very angular and pointy. I appreciate you taking the time to respond :)
I love natural full lips as much as any other person but the filler i just do not understand. Makes you lose your youthfulness and you instantly look years older not to mention vulgar. The color and texture combo looks off as well and makes it look like an inflamed bottom... I am all for other enhancements because they look great as dark circles or cheeks or jawline but the lips are gross more often then not.
Many people feel the same way that you do about unnatural looking lip enhancements. The texture and appearance of the lips can definitely take on a more vulgar appearance when the tissue looks indurated. Thanks for watching 👍.
I feel something similar. I've never considered doing my lips this video just popped into my recommended. I understand some women who have extremely fine lips might feel a bit self-conscious and would like to have some fullness, the same way we do put on lipstick to enhance them, but this video shows examples of women with perfectly beautiful lips that have a fullness of their own that still get fillers, with all the problems that can carry and that I'm glad this video also shows. It's kind of sad there are so many girls who think they've got to get better and better and look like insta models to be beautiful.
My daughter report to me on how she is feeling tingling and burning on her lip . And I hope she'll be fine soon thanks to Doctororias. I had never realised it could be so serious though but we came through ......

In many cases if you get lip filler that looks natural, it will enhance your beauty.
she also looked better before she gor "refilled". why did she? lip fillers jsut NEVER look good
I've done lip fillers many times by a great professional. That's all we need! We need caring professionals that say no when we want to have our lips overfilled.
That’s great that you found someone who cares and isn’t afraid to tell you no. 👍
Where did you go can I get information please
My injector is very conservative. I always like the results immediately after, but when the filler settles, I always want more. My injector declines doing more.. I get 1ml of Defyne. Very informative video, of course..
A lot of people say they love the way their lips look when they’re swollen and I always tell them that your lips are going to swell and the swelling will always go away. Thanks for watching!
The same thing happened to me I got my lips done the 1st and after settling I was so mad she barely did anything I’m currently looking for someone else
On my first session I got 1ml of restylane and it actually did a lot! Just comes to show how it really depends on what you start out with 😬
Oh, that's actually really good. The fact that this person refuses to give you what you want and stick of what they know you need it's really calming
How are your lips doing now, a year later? And how much did you get injected?
I’m 70 & my top lip has almost disappeared, but I’m not interested in fillers.
I’m hoping more young ladies will see your video & avoid the “pandemic”.

OMG: thank you! I already have some full lips and I was planning to get filler but I have an addictive personality so I think this could become a problem for me. Thank you!!
Honestly I can always tell when someone has lip filler even if it’s a little bit… There is just a certain look that there’s no getting around it, IMO
Not really. When you get them natural it’s not noticeable.
It's been a few weeks so I wanted to ask for an update! How are they now?
How much did she injected?
Probably not the first time as that is the premise - if you can't tell, you can't tell w

This was a great video. Got my lips done a few days ago and so far I am very happy with the results.
Thanks for the video!
So glad you found the video helpful Janesa! Thanks for your comment 😊
I line my lips in a shade 3 darker from mine before I put on foundation. It’s my no-surgical lip enhancement lol!
☺️. Thanks for sharing
Okay… so I look exactly like Jane and it would be my first time as well - This example hit me hard!
Hit you hard as in making you more aware of lip filler blindness?
Wow. This is the most educational video I have seen on UA-cam. Thank you for this.
🤗. You’re so welcome Magy! Feel free to share this video with other people you think could benefit!
Thank you 😊

Amazing video! Thank you so much! Everybody should watch it before the procedure!
Thanks! I think so too 👍🤗
This was such a informative video!
I literally looooooove your videos and I am so inspired. Awsome Job girl!!! Greets from Hamburg/Germany

Thanks for sharing your story! Have you considered having the left side dissolved?
@@NaturalInjector she actually did dissolve some of it last year but it clearly wasn’t much and made no difference at all! I’m mostly irked at the fact that she didn’t seem to see the issue especially since she’s considered to be one of the “best”(aesthetically) among the local plastic surgery community.
I have an appointment with a different doctor at the same facility so at least she’ll have access to my files and I’m hoping she’ll be able to see things differently. Also on second look, it’s clear that BOTH sides of my lips need dissolving(my bottom lips too >_
@@Chibi_Sashi Be sure to keep your before photos in mind when making the comparison. Best of luck with your upcoming appointment!
@@NaturalInjector Thank you!
How much do you recommend for the first time?
Thanks!
SAME girl sameeee did you find anything out? It’s the long term effects I’m after!
Thank you. I feel calmer after watching this. Thank you.
Glad this helped calm you and thanks for watching 😊
If I get just a little filler in my lips to keep them looking naturally plump and don't do it constantly then does that mean my lips won't look unnatural?

Glad you found it helpful Dana!
I hate when people inject into the vermilion border. I always get the shelf look. 🙄

Hello, I am a professional flutist, can I consider getting lip fillers? I have always been afraid of doing it because of the profession.
I think you would do fine with fillers. I would just be careful of the Botox Lip Flip!
Thank you❤ I am not getting fillers, instead I’m going to focus on my face
I’m glad you found this video helpful! I hope I didn’t deter you from getting lip filler. It can really enhance someone’s appearance, depending on the person. I do think that people go too far though and they focus on the lips as if it’s the only feature on their face. There are many other ways to enhance someone’s beauty and I hope you find my other videos helpful.
Would u be able to recommend a good person/clinic in Tacoma, WA area?
Great video!👏🏻
Sorry I don’t know of anyone in that area. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Please do a video on cheek filler blindness.
Thanks for the idea. Never heard of cheek filler blindness but by the looks of some people I’m sure there is
I did not have a good result with lip filler, so asked to have it dissolved.
Very helpful video, thanks! Is there evidence of any long-term health effects caused by lip filler?
No. No long term effects at this moment and we’ve been using lip fillers for several years. Just the possibility of scarring to the lips if overinjected or injected too frequently.

I’ve heard it’s good to dissolve ur lip filler after a few visits & “restart” the process. Is this something you’d recommend?
Only if you need to. If your lips look natural there’s no need to dissolve in my opinion.

Great videos but the audio volume jumps up & down a lot. Needs stabillization 😉

Thank you, great info! 😍
👍😊
Does this apply to fillers in other areas too.? Like the Nose and Jaw?

Hi. Are you referring the your philtrum area? Do yo feel that it’s flat or there is too much space between your nose and upper lip?
@@NaturalInjector yes it is that area! but its not flat, its actually a bit deep and pronounced which also makes my cupids bow very angular and pointy. I appreciate you taking the time to respond :)
@@maarsiepaan 👍 Difficult for me to advise without seeing your actual lip and perioral area. If you would like we can book a virtual consult.
Vulgar and cheap, exactly. It's even sadder when I see very young people with bloated lips, looking like they're in their fifties...wtf
