Look at how beautifully we women are categorized. Into saggers and sinkers. Truly, wonderful stuff, having a comment section full of 20 something yr olds who are already planning what will be done when it starts to sink'n'sag, and as soon as possible

I find that very hard to believe. Most 20+ year old are not seeking this type of information unless they come across it haphazardly, because there's typically no reason to be concerned at that age. I'm in my late 40s and was not seeking this info but merely looking at skin care videos, which somehow led me here. However, I'm very glad to have found out about these treatments so I watch and learn.

I agree, the term sinkers and saggers is horrible. By the way, I don't know if the presenter got her lips done...but they look very unnatural. Also, I don't appreciate her tone in responding to a critical comment. Won't be coming back here!

I am 56 years old and am told I look 36 years old. I do get Botox, but diet is key!! No sugar, no processed food, drink lots of water ( I use an electrolytes with B vitamins in my water) I take vitamin K and fish oil supplements, eat a diet rich in vitamin K2, take collagen supplements in my coffee, drink apple cider vinegar, and use rice water on my face. I have also been using pumpkin seed oil on my face and argineline serum three nights a week.... I do eat a high protein diet rich in anti-oxidants and eat only whole foods..... I practice intermittent fasting every day which releases human growth hormone..... One thing not mentioned is bone loss.... Working out with progressively heavier weights will encourage healthy bone growth and release human growth hormone. Bone loss in the face will cause sagging as the skin sinks in. Sleep is so critical also, 7-8 hours every night and a nap also..... And avoid all sun exposure, I have lived in the Smoky Mountains for the last 30 years ( we never see the sun!!) and I NEVER go to the beach.....Go hiking instead of the beach, you will breathe in healthy bacteria and spores for your gut health ( forest bathing).......... One more thing, take a prebiotic/probiotic for gut health.

i can and i do most of this...aside from completely avoiding the sun...lol....it's so good for my mental health. I enjoy working in my yard but I always wear high SPF though and ensure my face, neck and chest are covered!
Also, a lot of skin/injectors aren't for cardio but....i'm not fully giving up my cardio (running)..lol. I did marathons and a few triathlons in my 20's and 30's, but i don't run or swim half the mileage i used to. I simply don't have the time anymore nor desire for super mileage, just shorter distances for me now that i'm in my 40's.
Also, i need waaaaay more than 7-8 hours of sleep...unfortunately i'm one of those very sleepy folks who needs a good 9-10 hours to feel my best.

Intermittent fasting has changed my life. As far as diet, I stick to moderation. I do not deny any craving, even if it is just a bite or two. I stay away from foods, people, and situations that make me feel bad physically and emotionally. I workout every other day. Being from the southwest, I love the sun and swimming, so powerful daily sunscreen is a must, as I can’t imagine staying away from the sun. I’ve gotten minimal Botox since my mid-30’s. Healthy skin, hair, nails, and well cared for teeth are so important. I swear by Armra colostrum. I am 42 now and look and feel better than I did in my thirties.

We all have to realize celebrities for the most part keep their figure because image is part of their job. They have the resources and time to stay in shape. We have to make time and choose to do it when we get older. I'm an advocate for working out the very least to keep your mobility in your later years.

Hollower here. I am 54. Been doing botox since 35 and minir filler only where I need it. You can overdo it and I am learming less is more. I also use retina A and retinols, vitamin C, and Sun screen under my foundation. Ive worn sunscreen every day since I was 24. Rain or shine I wear it because UV radiation is always there. Did have one blepheroplasty for under eyes and a lateral brow lift at 40. Still have good results. I dont go in the sun. I feel like I'm bearing seared alive when I do. People are always shocked I'm in my 50s. I dont know if that is a compliment, since I see many beautful people in their 50s, 60s, and 70s. Hell I think that Jane Fonda mskes 80 look amazing. Just do what you can to take care of your skin. You can always drink plenty of water, use sunscreen, avoid heavy sun or tanning, avoid smoking or vaping, snd keep alcohol to a minimum. Those alone make a big difference. Ladies and gents it is about as much prevention than trying to correct later. We are all going to age if we live long enough. But genetics isn't only variable. Love and hugs.

I am a “sinker” and I feel like it happened fast! I am 56, lean and athletic, and have always had difficulty keeping weight on. This is now showing in my face a lot in the last year or so. You could probably drink tea out of my temples all of a sudden! Wth?! I am religious with sunscreen, retin-a, and other actives and have recently discussed Sculptra with my dermatologist. She suggests Sculptra with the addition of very conservative filler near the mid face. Very expensive but I hope to start this within the next year. It’s nice to hear others positive results with Sculptra, so thank you for sharing 😊

I am 50 and my skin is fairly thick and full so I guess I am a "sagger" (don't like the term but ok). I can see my face didn't lose any fullness but it kind of descended downwards a bit and the lower jawline is not exactly defined as before. I am waiting for Sculptra to come to my country which we still don't have. I tried fillers and while I think they look great in areas you pointed, dr also injected some in my jawline which was awful and made my jaw square. Luckily, it dissolved in time but still not completely. I think there is one more thing that affects aging, and that is face shape. Especially chin. People with pointy large chin age better, especially reverse triangle shaped faces, I think because it holds the face structure much better than round shape, for example.

@@1989Channy Ive never heard of wasting or hollowing from Botox. Most people don’t do Botox to their temples also. I think the jelly roll is completely natural and normal anatomy on some ppl, especially in young people. I don’t advise to treat it. Tear troughs are another story though. I do think you can lessen under eye darkness and brighten the under eyes with tear trough filler, but only if you are a good candidate!

I lost a lot of facial volume very rapidly without any weight loss. Because of that volume loss my (very thin) skin started to sag so I guess I'm a combination? I initially thought that would apply to all of us, but I see women much older than I am that also have hollowing but very firm skin still. It's very disconcerting when your skin feels so loose you can just move it around like a blanket. My body is freaking me out these days.

I'm mostly a hollower too and I see on my dad's side their skin folds and moves like a blanket as you say lol. Definitely not digging that prospect. My mum's side are mixed, she looked quite great by her late fourties, more hollowed but still decent roundness and little sagging. Hoping I'll get more of my mum's side but not sure 😅 I'm a bit scared of injectables as I've heard gravity affects them and they eventually push skin down... I don't knot to what extent it's true. But I'm 33 and starting to see changes and bracing myself, considering the options available for the nearish future

I Just completed 2 sculptra treatments over the last few months and I am definitely noticing that I look more fresh faced. Not sure if I’m just a sagger or combo bc I have a heart shaped face with no wrinkles on my forehead and few around the eyes. My main issue seems to be a loss of collagen to the mid face and increased smile lines. I’m 45 and look forward to treating my skin to any treatments that make sense ( by sense I mean -don’t make me look crazy overfilled or fake) and that I can afford. Please keep up the great content! This makes so much sense. I have gained and lost a lot of weight specifically in my face, especially during and after pregnancy. I was wondering why I’ve experienced so much volume loss in the low face and now I know it’s because the skin got thinner after the weight loss. The other signs of aging don’t bother me nearly as much (I’m 32) but I have so much extra skin on the jawline area. I’m considering sculptra.

I am lean but I have very thick skin and big cheeks, so I will probably be a sagger. I'm 40 but so far, so good, my skin is in pretty good shape but I would like to start some preventative measures (besides skincare) - what would you recommend? Sculptra?
And regarding the threads, from what I understood they also help build collagen over time, and I've seen some people that were very happy with their results (however I would definitely not want to feel them in my skin :)).

It’s hard to recommend if I cannot see your face (I do offer virtual consults). . I think I might be a combination of both. But not sure. Maybe I'm just not seeing it yet. I used to have a very full face that appeared super round and chubby (never been overweight, always been on the normal to slim side). At the very end of my twenties, my entire body started to lose the "baby fat" and I feel like my true features started to show. My face is way more defined, you can see muscles in the face when I talk or eat or laugh, same happened with my body. I didn't work out or lose weight for that, it just happened. And I like it. I don't see sagging though. Just positive effects so far (I'm turning 36 in a few months). I even feel like in some sort of way I look younger than before because the chubby face aged me. Looking at family members also doesn't help too much coz they are all at least slightly overweight. I also don't know if I wanna actively avoid visible signs of aging or just go with it. I don't fear aging tbh. I am always curious what possibilities there are, but not really willing to let someone else change something about my face. I know there are absolute gems in that industry, but where I live, I trust no one... besides that I find it interesting how the face changes with age. Aging imho isn't a bad thing it just changes us.

There is absolutely no volume or fat to my cheeks anymore, so they fall flat and also look sunken. My jawline is already sagging. The very bottom of my face looks very heavy and pulled down. I’m 39 and still get carded.. the other day the employee at the counter asked for ID (who was probably about my age) and rejected me because she thought my ID was fake.. felt awkward and to be honest it was embarrassing.. that being said I think what contributed to looking younger was that I only wore makeup on special occasions i avoid caffeine (I never liked coffee) I rarely use soap on my face I try to eat clean especially try to avoid sugar i keep my skin routine minimal and use natural products I never use harsh products like retinol (thins and dries out your skin overtime) never had fillers or surgery I haven’t even been to a spa.. my friends who were obsessed with skincare look way older now, I think the reason is using too much products or harsh chemicals kills the good bacteria on your skin. Now they are trying fillers Botox lasers etc in my opinion that only looks good temporary and it’ll age you much faster you’ll look weird and you’ll have to keep up with spending more money. Also I think mature women look super sexy, they have something that young women can’t compete with and I hope more woman can embrace the aging process. When you’re 90 years old you’ll look back at your 50 year old self and realize how youthful and beautiful you were. Just saying..

No part of the face ages like the perioral area, chin and jaw and yet nobody talks about it. The problem is not the lips or teeth, it s the bone structure underneath. Those micro changes should be first mapped maybe with a CT scan and with the aid of a computer detect all the pixel changes. The eye alone cannot see it, but those micro changes make a smile sort of a grimace and that alone makes a woman much older than eye ageing, neck.. the lower part of the face, not the skin but the bony part makes a woman look masculine and very much unattractive and I don t see maxillofacial surgeons wanting to do something about it. They are too busy fixing bone deformities but aging bone IS ALSO a deformity.
I compare it to MTF procedures. The lower part of the face, bony part, not soft tissue, becomes masculinised over time, and no facelift will help if first that bone is not feminised, they must feminise first the bone, then pull whatever sagging skin and I don't see maxillofacial surgeons working hand in hand with plastic surgeons. Maybe surgeons who feminise transgender men would do a good job feminising aging female faces. I think over 70-80-90 years a female face should be dealt with as if it was a man wanting to look like a woman, it s not anymore about wrinkles or dark spots, real aging means the female face has masculinised.

I am also a " sinker", with very thin skin. The. (huge) disadvantage to this, that is not being addressed: the neck. My face is doing fine, with no work or fillers. Have always done the work for preventative. It's my neck that is awful. I have the banding/cords that give away my true age. ( No one can believe I'm 64 y/o) what can be done for the neck, besides surgery? I don't think there is anything. I'm going soon for a consult. It's time. I don't really mind getting old. But the neck looks bad, LoL. I think is older ladies are privileged to be here. My husband still finds me attractive, my kids and grandkids love me to pieces, I have just as much fun as always, and laugh Even more these days. As long as I have my health, my pets, my family,, I'm happy. We all have to grow old. Let's be at peace with it. And get work done, if we can afford it. LoL. God bless us all.

While doing research for my next video on Sculptra, I discovered there are a few products that originate from some form of lactic acid, like poly lactic acid that have been researched and have shown to increase collagen. Just can’t speak on Ellanse as we don’t have it in the US. Sounds like it’s similar though 🤷‍♀️

I was literally going to ask you if you could make this exact video, and here it is!! Yay!! Unfortunately, I am a sagger considering my features are quite similar to Miss. Gigi Hadid. I was wondering if it's at all possible that lifestyle factors could contribute to the aging category you fall under, or is it all genetics? For example, if I who is destined genetically to be a sagger commit to an active/healthy lifestyle (clean diet and exercise) could I possible alter my aging results by becoming more of a sinker? Or is this not possible. Thanks a lot for this awesome video :)

Glad you found the video helpful! The 1st question to ask yourself is: What BMI are you? As explained in the video weight definitely plays a role. In that sense lifestyle factor’s definitely come into play but more form a weight perspective. Are you slim like Gigi and Miranda Kerr but with thick dense skin? Not sure if you watched my video on Facial Fat but it will explain more! 👉 ua-cam.com/video/SEKIIGH1y7Y/v-deo.html
Also what are your parents aging types? Genetics definitely plays a role. Gigi takes after her father Mohamed Hadid, as he has very thick skin density.

Thanks for sharing your story. I really cannot advise without seeing your face. I offer virtual consults if that helps. Question: I’m combination, at a healthy weight, and I’m only 27. But I have very loose skin naturally, and I’m already developing jowls and have little volume at my temples. If I started injectables now, would that prevent worse aging over time, or can I just wait until I’m 40 to start and the result will look the same as if I’d been doing injectables for 10 years?

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  7 місяців тому

Thanks for your input. I do think it’s easier to treat sinkers with injectables because with filler you are adding volume and with Sculptra your skin tissue is thickening, and sinkers lack volume. I think the most difficult to treat are saggers who are overweight or saggers who have very thick skin (you don’t necessarily have to be overweight to have very thick skin).
