It's amazing what age did for this song. Long time Priest fans HATED this song and video when it first came out. Now it's the centerpiece and highlight of the show.
I think the problem initially was the introduction of a new sound in the "turbo" album. A sound that was heavily relying on synthesizers and other forms of electronic music. People were really critical and worried about Judas Priest becoming an 80's synth pop band. But it was heavily overblown. In the end this is still Priest. The double guitar solos on turbo were some of the best from their entire catalogue. And the instrumentals in general were far beyond anything in 80's synth pop/edm records. And deep inside it still kept the vibe of Judas Priest. It was just expressed differently.
I swear as a fan of all the albums, they all sound different yet sound priest. And now they've all aged well for the stage decades later to be molded together like the metal they are.
I really love the Turbo album, the whole thing is tons of fun. But yeah you're right... A lot of people really hate on it. It's nice to see so much love for it these days as it's one of my top Priest albums. I think it still sounds very Priest, a little different but still, almost all their albums sound different.

La densidad de esta versión es una belleza! Brutal Judas!!!
The bassist is such a machine in this song 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Why do I get the feeling this particular song is underrated? It's my favorite from J.P! I always play it while fast driving in my car!
I never was a Judas Priest -Fan, but let's be honest, the Priests are bloody brilliant.
That's why songs are better playing live cause the sound is awesome and the crowd is getting energy !!! And of course the metal God is fantastic
A melhor versão que eu já ouvi desta música!! Extraordinário!
Simplesmente do caralho
I cannot even explain how much I love this!
What a metal masterpiece!
I remember first came out folks said it was the end Priests were through!!! Some reason it survived got better over the years....kinda rare.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I love them!
I'm probably one of the odd ones but this is my favorite Priest song.
@@killerseddie8295 Mine too!
Just a Great Song!
Damaged my hearing in the 80,s with this band and was lucky enough to to see them several times. 55 now and still blown away... this is rock and metal folks. Look up heavy metal in the dictionary and this what you’ll see! Still listening and finishing off my hearing...
They are comming to Corbin ky in November cant wait. Already got tickets and beer rock n roll.
priest has always been my favorite
i hope every metal head out there is praying for glenn.get well you soon you badass!!
Even after all these years they still kick ass and are my favorite metal band.
What an amazing band 😈😈😈
Never knew that Judas Priest had a so powerful concept... Already heard this 10 times today... Hopefully my neighbors have the same option as me for them
