Lyrics:
You won't hear me, But you'll feel me
Without warning, somethings dawning, listen.
Then within your senses,
You'll know you're defenseless
How your heart beats, when you run for cover
Your cant retreat I spy like no other.
Then we race together. We can ride forever
Wrapped in horsepower, driving into fury
Changing gear I pull you tighter to me
I'm your turbo lover
Tell me there's no other
I'm your turbo lover
Better run for cover
We hold each other closer, as we shift to overdrive
And eveyrthing goes rushing by, with every nerve alive
We move so fast it seems as though we've taken to the sky
Love machines in harmony, we hear the engines cry.
I'm your turbo lover
Tell me there's no other
I'm your turbo lover
Better run for cover
On and on we're charging to the place so many seek
In perfect synchronicity of which so many speak
We feel so close to heaven in this roaring heavy load
And then in sheer abandonment, we shatter and explode.
I'm your turbo lover
Tell me there's no other
I'm your turbo lover
Better run for cover
I'm your turbo lover
Tell me there's no other
I'm your turbo lover
Better run for cover

Rob Halford is the best metal singer ever. Saw them live last night and Halford, even at 71, is still unbelievably great. Metal God indeed!
In fact the POPULAR 1 methal magazine considered Rod Hardfold THE BEST VOCALIST IN THE HISTORY OF ROCK.
Do not forget Ronnie James Dio. Anyways Rob is absolutely amazing!!!!!!
@@centinela24542What. No OZZY fans here. Boo.
He was great at times from 1973 to 1993. But he flamed out around 2000. By the time Priest reunited, his voice was blown, his lyric writing was trash, onstage he had to stand still to read teleprompters live and could no longer bring energy to the stage.
The true Judas Priest died in 1993.
Ronnie James Dio to me is the best. Honorable mentions are Ozzy, Bruce Dickinson, and Rob.
God damn!!! Real men, playing real instruments, singing real music!! No autotune, no bullshit!!!
Except Robs gay , I agree... lol
No ur not a man If ur gay ? Lel
@@MrWadeTC don't be that guy! We all know he's gay, and don't give a shit!!
@@randywissler9923 damn straight and the fact he is shows it through so heavily through his art is the reason it’s so badass. Being Unashamedly yourself is Metal
@@comicnerd1000 fuck yeah 🤘🤘🤘
In my opinion, this is *THE BEST VERSION* of this awesome song!
I'm pretty sure my ears are still ringing from that show even after all this time.

Enjoy your 200th like!
I know RIGHT " GET SOME "!!!!!!!!"
For sure!
Let's hear it for Glenn Tipton! A top-notch guitarist who doesn't get his due recognition.
Damn true, man. Though his undisputed mastery he's still one of the most underrated guitarists around. Being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease must have been a bad blow for him...
kk is more underapreciated in my opinion
@@ralfsegle3119 : Yes Sir.
@@ralfsegle3119 Honestly? KK is a very good blues/rock guitarist (in a not very bluesy metal band). However Glenn is technically better, and also kept up to date, adding tapping and sweep picking to his arsenal as they came on the scene. But they're both very good, no question.
@@ljdsam Yep...Tipton is the more formally schooled guitarist/musician out of the two having been playing classical piano (which his mother taught him) for years before picking up the guitar at 19 so he knows the rules of music and can very likely sight read. Downing learned by emulating his heroes such as Hendrix, Gallagher and developed a more rougher, improvisational style. Both come from entirely different backgrounds and those complemented each other made them a unique and particularly outstanding twin guitar team.

100% Judas Priest!!
We literally wore out the Priest Live VHS after every pub night. It was a special time. The 80's were magnificent and so was JP back then, in full flight with KK and Dave.
Priest is an entity that has many tentacles, and so I celebrate the 70's and 80's era, but I love that new fans in 2024 are connecting to the magic.
The 80s were larger than life!!!!! God I miss that decade! Greatest decade ever!
I miss it too!
Never got to live it😭
Me to. Real sad. BRING BACK
@@philcanselmo9436 Greatest decade ever in my opinion.
Yes and the 90s grunge is complete garbage today lots of those crazy buggers killed themselves but zero of my 80s heros did themselves in. Great music
It’s 2024 and I’m reliving the memories of 1986 I was 14 had a crush on an older boy who lived in the downstairs apt and he would always crank this so loud -thumping the building lol then I would know he was home alone lol ❤
Love being able to watch all these live concerts nowadays not everyone had cable back then to watch MTV or get to go to every concert, so this is awesome
A lot of Judas Priest fans hate this song but I love this song!
Dude this is my favorite
One of my favorite!
I absolutely HATED it and the LP when I bought it in '86. I wanted Defenders of the Faith II and listened to it maybe 3 times and put it up. As the years have gone by I find that I like Turbo Lover and the Turbo album more and more. Now it is one of my favorite Priest songs not the least of which because it is a snapshot of the year 1986 for me. Ahhh-the 80's!
As soon as Judas Priest started sounding heavier once they included their boosted JCM 800's... these songs became really heavy live...
I love this
Glenn Tipton and KK DOWNING is the real deal and turbo lover has a amazing guitar chorus
Jesus Christ I'm a millennial and grew up on 80s music, how did I miss this? Never heard a voice like this.
Wow, I'm a bit jealous that you get to hear them for the first time, try dio as well
One of their best songs!
Still to this day .... JUDAS PREIST shall 4ever reign continue to spread that moulten awesome Heavy Metal
This concert is still one of the best ever recorded in history of heavy metal music!
I agree with you.. I'd listen to it everyday back in '88 ..
I hope rob isn't in Arizona sitting on a cactus 🌵
So true!
Played live and sounds exactly like it did in the studio. That’s called musicians
No autotune like the Katy Perrys and others no days. Had to have more than big tits to be star back in the day.
Better than any performance MGK will never succeed lol
No earphones either. Only hearing themselves through the speakers.
A lot of rock gigs recorded in this era were heavily dubbed and touched up afterwards in studio
Actually better
The solo never stops giving me chills down my spine. How I envy every person in that arena!
It was a trip, it was the 80's.
It's a great solo.
I was there!
I was in Dallas Reunion arena where much of this was recorded!
I saw this concert in Edmonton Alberta, Canada 🇨🇦 198?? When the robot behind the drumkit fully opened up the guitarists each got in a hand and was raised up and down and do did the lead singer
You can feel the 80s when u hear this amazing song.
That's very correct snare drum ; distortion on guitar. 80s keyboard so on. Pop song
All the stereotypes of an 80's heavy metal band are in this video and it's great!
The stereotype began because of them. They started the whole leather and studs thing, Halford used to shop at S&M shops for stage gear. Studs, whips and chains _(and still some people didn't realize he was gay)_ caught on as Priest embraced the term Heavy Metal, while others shunned the idea and called themselves rock bands. Before that, they wore silk blouses and bell bottoms on stage,
Good times...
Rob is even doing the 80's side to side dance that only pop wankers did?
Doc Dave Remember this band started back in the 70s and they are 10 times better and with more class than most 80's bands....Glam Rock.. ugh!
Τιγκα ρεεε! Τα παντα ΟΛΑ!!! God bless you my friend! You made me laugh with joy! That's excactly the thing!
K.K.'s blowing hair is luxurious AF
I am deeply sad that I've never had the chance to be young at that era. It was the era of real music, real voice and real soul.
Yeah you missed out.
I appreciate your humility and I empathize with you! This decade was the bomb! Nowadays everything is DJ oriented and repetitious.
As someone who is born in 79 and growing up as a child in the 80s this was the best time for real music from 80 to 89 it was an amazing time especially for me a young metalhead growing up
My ears rang for days after this show, it was biblical, just be glad the full show is on youtube.
@@Dayandcounting ya my left ear loss hearing when halford came out on his harley dokken was the opening act it was a good show
Dave Holland was a perfect drum machine, amazing performance!
Oui il manque beaucoup. Comme quoi on peut être un frappeur de tambour et imprimer son style et sa personnalité au travers de cet instrument. Son successeur ne peut pas en dire autant
Funny how I always thought that he was a very, very limited drummer. I know that back then, JP wanted a guy that could deliver a no-frills, solid backbone, but man, I keep wondering what they would've achieved had they had a proper drummer. Les Binks was immensely superior, and even though he was just a hired gun, Simon Phillips needs no introduction. And, well, Scott Travis burst on to the scene with Painkiller. So yeah... I doubt Holland could've ever played Dissident Aggressor. He was a 4/4 guy.
Oh, he definitely could pull off Dissident Aggressor. Check out Holland’s work in his old band Trapeze. Way more capable then he was able to show in Priest. Even being proficient at Double Kick, like on Keepin’ Time, and a handful of live tracks like Genocide and Starbreaker 1979. I’d even rate him as well as the other Priest Drummers too.
Ian Hill is the best bass player in the history of mankind. His skills really shine in this track
judas has the best guitarists ever !!!!!!!
oh yeah!
john kennedy Agree, every solo is magic!
Yeah, no kiddin'. Their names are Glenn Tipton and KK Downing. Not Ritchie Faulkner and Andy Sneap; or whoever the band has playing the role nowadays? Don't ever forget it!
I’m kind of a casual Judas Priest fan but this is hands down the greatest concert DVD in existence. Nothing even comes close.
@@MOllySixxxCA : Yes! You are correct. But Judas Priest also has another concert video that is from 1982. Four years before this one. The concert takes place in Tennessee. And it is a pro shot video released by Judas Priest themselves. Just like this one. And it was filmed on the Screaming For Vengeance tour in 1982. It will give this concert video a run for its money. Check it out if you will.
Currently reading Robs autobiography at the moment and I’m seeing him in a completely new light. A remarkable man.
I just finished reading Confess earlier today. Great book and yes, he is remarkable!
I'm gonna order this.
I recently read his book as well. It could have been 3 times as long and I'd happily read every word. What a life.
You should check out the Audible version,Rob does the narration himself, fantastic to hear it in his own words.
im buying his second book today just after ive read confess. truly remarkable man and an absolute icon to me
The best song in the history of heavy metal and rock n roll.
GOAT.
Lol... uhhh, that'd be a no...
But I do love this song...😂
Absolute badassery. This sounds fantastic live, rocks way harder than the studio version.
It also rocks way harder than any of the crap these bands are putting out today
@@garygarver96821000% yes
Real Priest fans love this song!!!! Watching Rob preform it live is such a thrill! Incredible
It is hard to believe this was filmed and recorded 34 years ago. It still feels so state of the art with the lights and the huge mechanical robot on stage.
K.k. and Glen the best guitar duo ever!!!!!
My first-ever Priest song I listened to! Love this tune just as much as I loved it back then when I first heard it!
My first Priest song I remember hearing was Green Manalishi and I just found out (like 35 years later) it was originally a Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac) tune! smh... never to old to learn something new everyday (although it sometimes it is a little bit embarrassing) #justsaying
Haha, I totally agree with you on that one!
Same here. The heavy riffs. Oh so fulfilling..
Saw them on this tour...
YES!! that song is stronger than time
Turbo Lover is among the 4 best JP records, maybe even the best? It is very different, therefore it's unique. I like the guitar synths, it was very brave to experience with them.
SENSEI ROB HALFORD is THE MASTER of Theatrical stage presence ; when he says LISTEN the air stops for a few seconds ... And I don't even fancy this particular song . METAL GOD
hes gay.
Tipton was never talked about much but really one of the best guitarist's.
Wrong. The Best. Not One of the Best
This sounds almost identical to the record. It’s more of a pop oriented song but it still has all of the great elements of metal.
one word: masterpiece!
I would love to have seen them live back then just once
I'm 54 and I WILL also be a Metal Head FOREVER.
They are the best band live saw them 10 times and still I want more 💀😎🤘
Iv seen priest live ,6 times , starting in 82

How can anyone not love this song
This was a great tour, this song rocked live
The 80's BABY!! No decade will ever match the greatness!!
I was at that show in Dallas, back in June of 1986. DOKKEN opened that night. I miss the 80s, dearly!!!
The best performance of this song recorded.
I love the energy of this song and I am so glad you guys eventually uploaded this.
This concert is a real gem, a treasure in metal, music and JP history.

Halford best metal singer ever
Eric Adams :)
Lemmy Kilmister
With Dio and Dickinson
David Draiman though
Justin Willhoit He is a good singer, but not the best
Thank God I could live a life with Judas Priest's wonderful art
The boys had a lot more energy 30 yrs ago that is for certain. All versions with the exception of Ripper's mess ups are great. Glad Priest kept this in the show and didn't listen to the critics. Keep on singing Rob.
I thought Ripper was phenomenal with Priest. It's a shame that a lot of fans and critics didn't give him a chance. I saw him live twice with Priest on the Demolition Tour 2001-2002 and he just owned the stage and ultimately the show.
Ripper was good.
One of the most beautiful heavy metal's guitar solo ever.
Can not decide who´s better Maiden or Judas ! Both deserve to be considered the Best!!!
mike de leon Judas is awesome, but to me Maiden is definitely the best band in the world.
I'd say Maiden has put out more epic songs over the years, but both bands have been extremely solid. At that point, it's a matter of preference. We should consider ourselves lucky to have been witness to their greatness.
for me the best songs of Judas Priest 😎😎🏍🏍
You don't peak performance any further than this
Greatest Metal Band Of All Time
I fucking love the into guitar-synth, and when Rob starts singing, it's absolutely amazing... I love this album
It just can't get any 80er than this!!! This version kicks ass!!! So much powerful than the studio one.
Dave Holland Rules on Drums with his great metal groove. And the Priest as Loud as an incoming jumbo plane amazing !
Many fans don´t like the change that Turbo made. I really like it. This is one of the most preciated Jewells.
I think people don't like this album because it is the ONLY priest album to not have their trademark venom and aggression. Also it does have a pop element too. Coupled with the synth guitars it has a very unique sound. But it still sounds like Judas Priest through and through. I find this album better than Ram It Down.
But Johny Be Good is a good song from Ram It Down
Hard as Iron, heavy metal and ram it down?
And blood res skies?
i like Hard as iron, ram it down, heavy metal and come and get it but i agree. half of the album felt like a letdown and the songs felt forgetable in comparison to turbo
@@paperipussy6419 turbo and blood red skies are like sister songs to me, much like sentinel and reckless.
El amo y señor del heavy metal.con el mejor duo de guitarras kk and glenn.y su gran cantante haldford.
I was turned on by attending this concert in Edmonton, AB and I am so impressed, they not only still sing; but still look HOT in they're leather (WOW, 34 years later) - oh yeah, yeah, yeah!!! Please continue to be our Turbo Lover.
the most magnificient metal band of the history !
Best ever!! Love this more than the official video!! 100%
This is my favorite song from TURBO
Underrated song. So amazing, so powerful. I wish more people knew about this song.
The top of heavy metal! Best live version, better then studio version!
one of the best Music Times ever!
I imagine me making strip tease for my most loved woman ever!
Turbo Loverrrrr aaaa ❤❤❤❤😍😍😍
Love this live version unbelievably good
a real amazing concert from the Fuel for life tour at Dallas TX 27 th June 86 Judas Priest as its best with KK Downing and Glenn Tipton

Последние из великих, наряду с Iron maiden и Accept . После них одна тухлятина.
This was my first Priest tour. Saw them in Stuttgart, Germany, and instantly fell in love with them, with Turbo, followed by RID and PK. (Sorry, just second generation of Priest maniacs)
I still love them, especially the Metal God, and could bite myself in the ar5e by being forced missing the running tour '22.
Generation 90es and 2000ds has no clue what they missed ....
Metal God, I'll be thankful forever for giving me some of the happiest times in my life, and helping me endure the blackest nights with "blooded skies". Thank you, Priest!
forever! I wish you all the best, JP maniacs around the world
One of the best songs EVER F_ING written!
That stage show is still insane ... massive, over the top and brilliant !
I love driving fast to this song
49 years young, still rocking priest.
I'm 49 also, but I feel 17 again rock in out with the priest.
Ha! 51 here. Feel like I'm 20 again when I hear it.
I'm 49 as well and feel like a teen too!
I drive a lot for work, to and from cities on the East Coast mainly. Judas Priest has recently become a go-to for those road trips, and especially Turbo Lover.
There's just something about merging onto the highway just as the transition into the first chorus hits...

Priest at their prime time. Just amazing!
One of the greatest concerts I ever had the pleasure of attending!!
Turbo is their BEST album😤🔥
when i was 12 i had "painkiller" on tape, this was the only album i knew from JP back then and i absolutely loved it. now, 30 years later, i actually explore the whole discography and "turbo" is one of the albums i liked the most. i`ve read it in a lot of comments now, that many fans don't like it... but i don't get it... it's a great one. i immediately ordered painkiller, turbo and screaming for vengeance today on LP for my collection, totally into JP now! and great to see, that rob is still rockin' it with nearly 70 years old, he's even looking better now than then.
Epitomy of perfect showmanship, that's right, Rod Halford
The one and Only Priest!
Thank christ someone put this up. Hard to find this version on here
Totally!
Rock theater at is finest. Powerful. A classic video.
KK Downing , Tipton but especially Halford have a flair for drama. This song reveals how smart this band is. The dramatic structure of this song is immaculate.
Every Legend who came here for Gran Turismo 3 will never die / Cada Legenda que vino aqui por Gran Turismo 3 jamas morirá.
Can you hear how exuberant the crowds were back then. The crowds and bands would feed off each other's energy a lot more. The excitement was at such a high pitch. Not as much these days.
He doesn't even make a f* effort to sing, what a machine!
That Roland guitar synth effect is just sick - love how it adds a lot to the song.
Submerged with 80's live rock videos the past year. What a time in history. The music, the lyrics, the energy..it really was a different reality and we slowly exchanged it for technology.
a band at their peak, listen and be astounded
one of the greatests solos by mr Tipton
This is FINEST METAL-POP!!!!!! Halford at it's highest peak!!!!!
Turbo heavy meets turbo metal,
and the result is TURBO ROCK.
So much energy, and not a cell phone in site. Beautiful.
A true masterpiece! Beautiful performance!
Yes very good metal theater. And style of this piece is in good direction. Next generation after us having nice mem. This man. Who are you. Seems to be recognized.
Such a powerful version of this song! Love this song that is hated by some but it really grows on you over time. The sound engineer did an amazing job on this concert tour. Long live the PRIEST!!!
