Even at age 60, I find you are an inspiration and utilize your techniques every day! Also, Shelby, you are so naturally beautiful and talented. I am thankful for you!
At 77 I still want makeup, but want a very natural look. I truly appreciate your channel and your straight forward comments. I have used makeup all my life since I modeled when I was younger and knew I needed to pare down my look as I grew older. Getting older and losing youthful skin as a palette on which all you makeup is worn means finding the right products......trial and error.....this isn't easy. Not everyone is the same....find what works for you. As you show and recommend products it truly does help us to find our best self and present a beautiful face. Shelby, thank you again!!!
I must admit I am new to your channel and found you by accident. I have children your age but I have used several of your tips and loved them on me. It's very refreshing to watch someone who transcends generations with their content. Thanks!!!
Ki so agree with you , I will be 68 in September and I love how and what she uses. I don’t think old and I don’t believe in tha mature skin crap. I think light is better on me but I love what she uses and it works do me and I love lashes!!
Oh, Shelbey, you are my new makeup artiste! My younger sister, 73, looked so fabulous on FaceTime today! I had to ask her what she had done! She immediately told me she'd been to the "drug store" and bought Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint. I left the hair salon and ran to Target to buy it, #30, Buff, and the concealer stick (Hydro Boost), the mascara and a blush brush which I had already from when I sold Prescriptives, came home, washed my face and began! Viola! I can't see the lines (or wrinkles) in my cheeks when I smile...the tint even covered an age spot. My face was as dewy as it's been in years; I am 77 but will wear makeup unless I'm horribly ill!! YOU are fantastic and I can't wait to get the cream blushes and eyeshadows! Your look is perfect! I wear my hair short, highlighted and spiky so most people think I'm in my early 60's...well, today I LOOKED it! Thank you so so much! You are a darling girl and a total minimal artist! I love you!!
Hi Shelbey. I tried this look today and went to the mall for shopping. Well, as soon as I payed and took a step to go, I heard a shop assistant saying to the other: "Did you see her makeup? She was beautiful!" .... I mean... You, Shelbey, MADE MY DAY.
I love you ♥️♥️♥️ you have no idea how much I learn from you 💕😘 you are so realistic. A true makeup artist who enhances rather than create new features 😍😍💖
I hardly ever comment on the videos. I have been binging on several of your videos and I love them all! You make realistic looks for everyday people. It’s very simple and I love your over all style, approach, and attitude to make up. Thank you 🙏
I am a new subscriber. I watched this video, and did everything that you showed us on this video, and WOW! These techniques are a game changer! People kept looking at my face, and men were going out of their way to strike up conversations with me! WOW....WOW. Big Thumbs up to you....WOW! Thanks!
This tutorial is so perfect. I'm 64 and this all makes so much sense. Going to try the Boy Brow for sure. I agree with another .... you should have a million subscribers.....and most likely will. Also agree with "transcends generations with your content" Don't change a thing.
You are Obviously a Young Lady by the way you carry yourself, dress, background, no interruptions, getting right to the tutorial, I could go on and on. Obviously, I bet you are a model. You have obviously picked up the perfect ways to compliment your features and you do a marvelous job bringing them back to us, especially from reading just a few of your latest comments. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have only subscribed to one lady, Anne P, who is more along the lines of the mature woman, tho she is 12 years younger than Me, and you are much much younger than both she and I. But YOU, my dear, have just made me Subscribe to you! And tho I can't stand the notifications on my phone, You are worth it! Have watched two very easy but tough problems I was having, and I actually can do the looks!!!!! Now you tell me I only need one shadow pencil now that I have Just purchased my three big color palettes!!!!! Ha! And you do the most gorgeous eye in that one shadow!!! You stinker! Now, I'm convinced that 5 colors ARE too many on my hooded, crepey lids! I will do different looks, but I DID always wonder why I looked my best with limited makeup on! Now I know why! And ...bet you don't have a tatoo, either! Cause you are a True Classic. More later!
LLOOOVVVED this video!! Definitely my kind of tutorial that covers all of the bases for those of us who like natural, fuss free using the bare minimum to create a beautiful look. Thank you so much! ❤️
You have amazing skin. Would love to see a video on your base foundation. I hate base! Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. Unlike some videos, your makeup looks so natural.
I’m so happy I found you! This is the second video I’ve watched and already likes and subscribed! I love how you do more of a subtle look verses crazy 😜
I really like the way you do your eyeliner, so minimally yet so effectively!! Your brows look great, lips...all of it, you look fantastic, so natural and pretty, thanx for sharing!!
Hi! I’m 42 years old...I watched this video 4 days ago and I tired these simple techniques to do a lil lifting as I feel some features are starting to drop a lil. I want to say I love the way my makeup looks. Thank you so much!
This is how I’ve always liked doing my makeup minus the lashes. It’s so nice to see someone without the lip implants etc demonstrate makeup application on UA-cam. I’m going to try the lashes but I’m new to them. So which ones do you recommend for almond shaped eyes?
Wow! Really cute natural look. I might need to work more on my brows, though, because I don't have enough hair to lift them up, but I have a very long natural eye lashes, so I don't need fake ones. Thank you, I am going to try it out right now. Any extra advice for a woman over 40?
Hi Shelbey, I enjoy your videos because you keep it real! I’m in my 40’s and wondering if your professional techniques can be applied to wiser skin some videos would be welcomed😉
I watch y'all pop on lashes without any trouble but I just couldn't get it. Lol. Going to try yet again tho. Going to do the magnetic ones first & then go from there.
Love that this is so natural looking! You are awesome & generous to share all you did! I could not find a list of names of products? You go fast & am not familiar w/these brands. Was the lip liner Nix-beige? Thanks again!
The Glossier Boy Brow doesn't say anything about including fibers, even checked the ingredient list: Beeswax and Carnauba Wax, Oleic Acid, Lecithin & Atelocollagen. Did the link take me to the wrong product? My eyebrows could use some fiber enhancement. :-) Thanks.
"Kendall Jenner come fight me." 😁😁😁 "Eyes look bigger and brighter with less on them." This has been my thought for a while now ... after having gone wild buying something like 20 eyeshadow palettes in 2018. Oh dear! Thank you for this *_wonderful_* tutorial❣
I was definitely a palette collector myself. I hardly use eyeshadow at all, but do love admiring the palettes. I see them as art moreso than something I will actively use on my eyes. I def find less is more on the eye area. I don't wear false lashes or do a dark wing , as it tends to occupy too much space and with my hooded eyes, I don't want my eyes looking even heavier.
@@sydramars7065 I'm 67 and am using eyeshadow for the first time in my life. I wear very little makeup but I'm wearing eyeshadow and nudies bloom in bohemian rose.
I am old enough to be your mom but I just love your channel, your content is definitely my vibe. Makeup with a sweet kind of sort of natural look without being no makeup. You really helped me with the kitten Flick. Also, your tip for the lips was spot on. Thank you Shelby. xo, Cowgirl Deb
Shelbey Wilson I do this and so do you... I love to tightline my eyes because I don’t have a lot of real estates on the lid and it really helps make my eyes look their best! I also use a black primer on my lashes and that builds up my fine lashes and helps them hold mascara better!!
Bring blush higher up on your cheek bones and more towards your hair line to lift your cheek bones. I use a very natural colored blush so I dont look crazy
After years of dance, I have retired from applying false lashes, plus I see so many people with badly applied ones. I would have liked to see both, with falsies and with mascara only.
Giulia Gangemi YES!!!! THAT’s who I was thinking of!! Seriously, Shelbey, I just found you tonight and I’m so looking forward to doing these enlarging techniques on myself, especially my eyes. You are my beauty guru!!! Thank you!!! 😘
Beautiful and Natural. This look really accentuates your natural beauty without looking over done. It really brings out your features without unnecessary layers of makeup.
Love that contour, every time I see it I think of a bingo dabber 😂 I would be dotting it all over like a kid 🤣 I always love your makeup looks. This is lovely as always.
This works only for younger faces. When you eyes lost almond shape and you’ve got under eyes bags and down part of your face became “heavier” - it doesn’t help. Eyes looks small even with make up on...
Great tips!!! Very clear and informative as usual. You' re naturally talented also for teaching. Best video I' ve ever seen and veeeeery helpful. You are able to catch all my attention after a long working day while learning something new and interesting every time. Thank you.
