For people who keep saying kid buu is stronger than buuhan, that makes no fucking sense. Why would goku and vegeta need to fuse to beat him, But feel confident 1v1 kid buu?. They were fucking terrified of just regular super buu. They state it so many times. Kid buu is the weakest buu, maybe except for Fat buu after he left kid buus body. Goku literally says when they are inside buu after they removed the kids and piccolo pods that if they left now they would be destroyed. Evil Buu/Kid buu
Kid Buu is NOT stronger than Buuhan. Goku was terrified of Buuhan and knew the only way was fusing, but then he fought Kid Buu on equal ground, being a SSJ3.

Buutenks is even arguably stronger then kid buu as he asks Gohan to fuse with him. Even an injured potential unleashed Gohan is still vastly stronger then Vegeta.

In my opinion janemba has 70% to 90% chance of beating kid buu because you forget to mention janemba is an extremely quick learner the first he picked up a sword he was pretty good with it after a while of fighting janemba would probably come up with a way to beat buu Some may say janemba got some "memorys or knowledge" from the negative energy that made him if so than buu does not stand a chance because if the negative energy does have memorys and knowledge in it than janemba would have TONS of combat knowledge and experience from all the comanders tacticians etc and would also have access to the Kamehameha and death beam final flash if cell vegeta and friza went through the machine that made the negative energy Tl:dr janemba is soloing 9 times out of 10 the only way i see buu winning is if all the buus got together and fought him all at once but evan than i doubt it good video BTW

Tbh I feel like they are both copy’s of eachother they bother started off as fat (no hate) and clumsy then they power up and become super strong and end up getting defeated by a fusion they are identical
I was thinking that Janemba was stronger than Kid Buu due to the fact that he was fairing better than a stronger Goku and they needed fusion to beat him rather than using the spirit bomb. But in all fairness Kid Buu has all the hax to beat Janemba regardless if he is stronger since Janemba will be in a disadvantage. Does that make sense?
Overall this was well done. Just lost me when you said kid buu was stronger then buuhon, that's just not true at all. It's been stated multiple times the kid buu may be more destructive, but is in no way stronger then buuhon. It took goku x vegita x50 to to end buuhon if that was their intended plan. Kid buu was killed my a goku ssj1 spirit bomb, which is much weaker.
Kid buu just has simply too many statements in the anime calling him the strongest to ignore. Also goku and Vegeta do get stronger during the buu arc so you can’t exactly use goku and Vegeta being weaker than buuhan as a point their escalation in power is shown when goku goes from weaker than Gohan to stronger(which will be a whole video on its own) but thx for the compliment on the video regardless

Yeah that's how it is, in the manga, apparently kid Buu was called the strongest in the anime though, but that shouldn't matter because the anime isn't canon.

This is one of the weirdest fights to think about. I think its most likely a even battle and a draw if you consider the fact that janemba is faster than instant transmission since he is faster than cooler since he fought the same goku who is clearly stronger at that point having trained and now has ssj3. however due to buu's insane regen I don't think janemba can kill him due to there similar strength even if he can speed blitz him. Of course it goes without saying janemba vs manga buu is an actual joke but the anime buu vs janemba is really close in my opinion.
Janemba would win. In the anime it was stated by the old Kiaoshin if Goku and Vegeta fused they would wipe the floor with Buu. Goku and Vegeta are stronger in the movies and still struggled against Janemba. Keep in mind Goku has said he had better control of the SSJ3 form while training in the other world.

Buuhan had the combined might of super buu and the strongest un fused fighter in the show at the time gohan. Kid buu being stronger than him makes absolutely no sense considering after he absorbed piccolo and gotenks he toyed with gohan and ssj3 goku. Ssj3 goku struggled to keep up with kid buu but more or less was keeping up.
I no it's not canon but super dragon ball heroes did this fight already. They were equal then a dark dragon ball got pushed into kid buus stomach and then kid buu beat him down. UA-cam it.
Now I know you used the former method of scaling the characters over the latter method, however the problem with the former method is that it contradicts what we see in the film. You see when Janemba is born he wrapped and manipulated the laws of reality in "other world" and the mortal universe effortlessly, and depending if you consider the mortal universe to be infinite or not it will determine whether or not Janemba is either 4th to 5th dimensional in power, thus making him far stronger than what kid Buu has shown.
How could Kid Buu be stronger than Buuhan if Goku SSJ3 could fight him? If Goku could'vefought Buuhan, he wouldn't have fused (because it's permanent). We know so because Goku originally wanted to fuse with Gohan against Buutenks. But when that fusion wore off, Goku changed his mind because at this point, Buu had lost over 1/3 of his power and was now weak enough to be dealt with.
Vegito in base could have ended bu so it was stated and shown in the anime . So buhan was no where near base vegeto only maybe when he got hyper angry. So Vegeto going super Saiyan does not mean buhan scales to his SS form . This was a similar statements iin gt where it's stated that gogeta could end omega sheron with one finger but some will say he transformed that , that is just show . He can end him with a finger as stated
Janembas best fight is against Buuhan. Kid Buu is honestly really weak in comparison to Buuhan due to Kid being the original Buu. Janembas hacks are stronger then Buu's. Just from EXISTING, hes capable of turning the entirety of Hell (an infinite expanding dimension) into jellybeans. With Buu you can at least prepare for it with his beam but Janemba's existence caused that to happen. The only real advantage and win condition i can see Buuhan getting is when he gets pissed he screams and through that he'd figure out Janembas weakness and just literally scream at him to death. But that is under the assumption Janemba isnt outright trying to kill Buuhan on the spot. When Janemba was faced with ssj3 Goku he was toying with him but im not sure he would do the same to a stronger enemy.

SSJ3 Goku was going blow for blow with kid buu with the issue being his stamina. Buutenks would've manhandled SSJ3 Goku, and it's unlikely goku would've won a 1v1 against super buu either.

1:07 Toriyama has also stated that the movies are based off of his work, and Koyama states that he tries to maintain continuity with the series as much as possible (which can be tricky given when movies begin to be produced). So you’d need evidence from the movies themselves to imply they scale differently from the Anime; which in Fusion Reborn (much like every Dragon Ball movie) there isn’t any. 2:58 the problem is the Weekly Shounen Jump statement is comparing fusion to Potara. It’s not saying Gogeta would win because Goku & Vegeta are stronger, it’s saying that Gogeta would win in a short fight because “fusion has better balance and draws their power to the max”. Those statements on Potara basically refute this. Goku in Fusion Reborn still needed Super Saiyan 3 to surpass Fat Janenba, who only surpasses Anime Fat Boo. He also directly compares Janenba and Boo when complimenting Janenba for being the second one to push him so far. And yet Base Gotenks (Post RoSaT) is implied above this Boo, and Super Saiyan 3 Goku later held his own against Bootenks to some degree. So that Goku would already stomp Super Janenba, as would Super Boo, Gotenks & Gohan. Also if we’re including Boohan in the Anime Pure Boo statement, then Boo might just already be above Vegetto (& a negligently optimistic view on Gogeta) as Boohan upon becoming Enraged required a full power Super Vegetto to stop. That and destroying the entire fabric of spacetime in the Dragon Ball World eclipses anything in the Z Movies and the only comparable feats are in Super & GT. so I am going to add my two cents. Janemba is stronger than kid buu. In fact hes stronger than any buu, but buuhan would make a good fight. especially with piccolo and gotenks. Goku is scared to fight super buu orginally, thats without gotenks or piccolo. he was outclassed. buuhan had is ass handed to him by vegito. gogeta is probably on par with vegito powerwise.
If it was possible for buu to copy Jenemba's reality warping ability that would be scary. It would be a bada$$ fight though. I would love to see them reality warping each other hoping each other would mess up somewhere and take the win.

I would point out the Buuhan Kamikaze Ghosts and their Kamehameha/Masenko double attack that Super Vegito can't tank. And since Kamikaze Ghosts are technically sentient beings and in this case count as a "Buu".... You could say that ss2 Goku when he says a supressed kid buu is the strongest, it includes said Buuhan Kamikaze Ghosts.👀
Anyone saying kid buu is weaker than buuhan simply because of the absorptions of the z fighters completely forgets that when kid buu absorbed daikioshin he became weaker.. also you forget about zenkais in which Goku gets from fighting buuhan, and from fusing and defusing with vegeta.. I'll agree that Pure Boo is galaxy level, but Boohan trying to tear up the universe is Dragon Ball Z filler that was kept in Dragon Ball Kai for some reason.
I'd say janemba wins because He has a lot of tricks in his sleeves he can probably hit Buu with certain attacks and not to mention Janemba has extremely overpowered regenerative ability.
5:24 I'm sorry but this is where you lost me and I was convinced it was a late April fool's joke. You took a statement saying Kid Buu was on a whole different level from the other Buus, but that could be interpreted *very* differently from what you suggested. It could be referring to Kid Buu's behavior compared to all the other Buus, which would make more sense as Buu *lost* the people he absorbed, understandably making him weaker. Why he made himself even weaker by turning into kid Buu is questionable and Kid Buu vs Super Buu could be a matter of debate too if you at all consider Ssj3 Gotenks is relative to Goku or not but that's a different topic. Saying Kid Buu is 4 times stronger than Buuhan is like saying ssj3 Goku is 4 times stronger than base Vegito, who you said was relative to Buuhan. There are so many things with that statement though, such as Buu absorbing someone relative to Goku's power (Gotenks) and someone stronger than Goku (Gohan). It would also trivialize the need for Goku to even attempt fusing with Gohan, or next-best-thing Vegeta, as he could just wipe Buutenks off the map as soon as he arrived. He wouldn't even have to run from Buuhan. Your whole calc was messed up on 1 mistake but I don't think it would change too much of the result. It would have to be Buuhan who takes the win, abusing Saiyan cells and Gohan's intellect.

Saying Goku gets that much stronger throughout the arc is a *huge* stretch, even more when you say he surpassed Gohan. The only thing that supports your argument would be Goku and Vegeta getting stronger from fusing once, but as far as I know there is nothing to confirm that as true.

I say janemba because he’s after the majin buu arch and if you count that vegetas dead that means the zenkai boosts from their fight with him should make them more stronger and whatever else training they might’ve done (plus goku mentioned majin buu while fighting him) then he had ssj 3 goku on the ropes but he had a sword so idk how much that factors but in theory janemba should be stronger by a bit

Kid Buu is only stated to be "more dangerous" than Buuhan, not stronger. He was more dangerous for the fact that he was pure evil and less predictable than Buuhan who was smarter. People really tend to misinterpret the words

Goku told Vegeta if only you didn't destroy the potara then they could beat SuperBuu that buu was still too strong and later Goku is able to fight Kid Buu and says he could've beat him at ss3 if he went all out from the beginning
The movies are not a separate dimension from the anime; they’re the same. The movies are a separate dimension from the manga, though. Which is what the scan you posted shows. Koyama says the movies are in the same dimension of the anime.
This whole argument hinges on the idea that V-jump has any authority whatsoever and whatever they say is right. V-jump also stated that SSj Gogeta's power level is 2.5 billion, that doesn't seem right at all, it's way too low considering their claim that Cooler has a power level of 470 million. Toei is also known for releasing inconsistent statements, because they say that Janemba is stronger than Hirudegarn whileas Takao Koyama himself stated otherwise. On the topic of Janemba vs Buu, I don't see Janemba making it very far. He can likely beat Super Buu, but I don't see him beating Buutenks, Buuhan or Kid Buu

If anything, it's been suggested they're weaker in the daizenshuu since it places the movie events between Goku's first SSj3 form and the climax of Super Buu fight. Additionally, Koyama had a certain restriction while making the movies: "With regards to the contents, there was the restriction that the movie “not progress into story settings further ahead than the TV anime at the time of its premiere”; for example, even if I’d decided to do fusion, I wouldn’t be allowed to do it ahead of the TV anime or the original manga." DBZ movie 12 was released on March 4, 1995. DBZ manga chapter 315, which was the debut of the final fight with Kid Buu, was released 3 days later on March 7, 1995. As for anime, episode 259 was released on March 8, 1995, in which Super Buu was battling Gotenks. There is no chance in hell Goku's and Vegeta's strength is appropriately portrayed in M12 to consider them stronger. Also you misunderstood my point. LOL, it was good till you got to Kid Buu being stronger than Super Buu. Super Buu is actually stronger than Kid Buu. Kid Buu is just more ferocious and more wild than Super Buu. Remember SS3 had no chance against Super Buu because he absorbed other characters and was too much for SS3 it's the reason why they fused. However Goku couldn't maintain SS3 and if he could he would had been able to defeat Kid Buu. Janemba defeats any version Buu it's obvious. Kid Buu is only stronger than Super Buu only if Super Buu doesn't absorb other characters inside him. Super Buu is smarter than Kid Buu, but would only defeat Kid Buu if he absorbs another powerful fighter inside him

Overall this was well done. Just lost me when you said kid buu was stronger then buuhon, that's just not true at all. It's been stated multiple times the kid buu may be more destructive, but is in no way stronger then buuhon. It took goku x vegita x50 to to end buuhon if that was their intended plan. Kid buu was killed my a goku ssj1 spirit bomb, which is much weaker.
Kid buu just has simply too many statements in the anime calling him the strongest to ignore. Also goku and Vegeta do get stronger during the buu arc so you can’t exactly use goku and Vegeta being weaker than buuhan as a point their escalation in power is shown when goku goes from weaker than Gohan to stronger(which will be a whole video on its own) but thx for the compliment on the video regardless

This is one of the weirdest fights to think about. I think its most likely a even battle and a draw if you consider the fact that janemba is faster than instant transmission since he is faster than cooler since he fought the same goku who is clearly stronger at that point having trained and now has ssj3. however due to buu's insane regen I don't think janemba can kill him due to there similar strength even if he can speed blitz him. Of course it goes without saying janemba vs manga buu is an actual joke but the anime buu vs janemba is really close in my opinion.

Janemba would win. In the anime it was stated by the old Kiaoshin if Goku and Vegeta fused they would wipe the floor with Buu. Goku and Vegeta are stronger in the movies and still struggled against Janemba. Keep in mind Goku has said he had better control of the SSJ3 form while training in the other world.

Now I know you used the former method of scaling the characters over the latter method, however the problem with the former method is that it contradicts what we see in the film. You see when Janemba is born he wrapped and manipulated the laws of reality in "other world" and the mortal universe effortlessly, and depending if you consider the mortal universe to be infinite or not it will determine whether or not Janemba is either 4th to 5th dimensional in power, thus making him far stronger than what kid Buu has shown.

How could Kid Buu be stronger than Buuhan if Goku SSJ3 could fight him? If Goku could'vefought Buuhan, he wouldn't have fused (because it's permanent). We know so because Goku originally wanted to fuse with Gohan against Buutenks. But when that fusion wore off, Goku changed his mind because at this point, Buu had lost over 1/3 of his power and was now weak enough to be dealt with.
Goku fighting Kid Buu doesn't mean a lot. Kid Buu was stated to be toying around with Goku the whole fight.

1:07 Toriyama has also stated that the movies are based off of his work, and Koyama states that he tries to maintain continuity with the series as much as possible (which can be tricky given when movies begin to be produced). So you’d need evidence from the movies themselves to imply they scale differently from the Anime; which in Fusion Reborn (much like every Dragon Ball movie) there isn’t any.
2:58 the problem is the Weekly Shounen Jump statement is comparing fusion to Potara. It’s not saying Gogeta would win because Goku & Vegeta are stronger, it’s saying that Gogeta would win in a short fight because “fusion has better balance and draws their power to the max”. Those statements on Potara basically refute this.
Goku in Fusion Reborn still needed Super Saiyan 3 to surpass Fat Janenba, who only surpasses Anime Fat Boo. He also directly compares Janenba and Boo when complimenting Janenba for being the second one to push him so far. And yet Base Gotenks (Post RoSaT) is implied above this Boo, and Super Saiyan 3 Goku later held his own against Bootenks to some degree. So that Goku would already stomp Super Janenba, as would Super Boo, Gotenks & Gohan.
Also if we’re including Boohan in the Anime Pure Boo statement, then Boo might just already be above Vegetto (& a negligently optimistic view on Gogeta) as Boohan upon becoming Enraged required a full power Super Vegetto to stop. That and destroying the entire fabric of spacetime in the Dragon Ball World eclipses anything in the Z Movies and the only comparable feats are in Super & GT.

You took a statement saying Kid Buu was on a whole different level from the other Buus, but that could be interpreted *very* differently from what you suggested. It could be referring to Kid Buu's behavior compared to all the other Buus, which would make more sense as Buu *lost* the people he absorbed, understandably making him weaker. Why he made himself even weaker by turning into kid Buu is questionable and Kid Buu vs Super Buu could be a matter of debate too if you at all consider Ssj3 Gotenks is relative to Goku or not but that's a different topic.
Saying Kid Buu is 4 times stronger than Buuhan is like saying ssj3 Goku is 4 times stronger than base Vegito, who you said was relative to Buuhan. There are so many things with that statement though, such as Buu absorbing someone relative to Goku's power (Gotenks) and someone stronger than Goku (Gohan). It would also trivialize the need for Goku to even attempt fusing with Gohan, or next-best-thing Vegeta, as he could just wipe Buutenks off the map as soon as he arrived. He wouldn't even have to run from Buuhan.

On the topic of Janemba vs Buu, I don't see Janemba making it very far. He can likely beat Super Buu, but I don't see him beating Buutenks, Buuhan or Kid Buu

But we have statements of potara being superior in practically every way. Ro Kaioshin told Goku that potara fusion with Gohan should make him strong enough to the point he wouldn't need to transform to beat Buutenks, meanwhile Goku was concerned with going SSj for the task. Then when he emerged as Vegetto, he couldn't believe how easily he was beating Buuhan as just SSj. If potara was inferior to fusion dance in power, it would've been the exact opposite.
Also Koyama saying Broly was the strongest was a joke, he was laughing when he said that. Koyama said this about movie villains: "It’s always difficult coming up with an enemy for Goku, because I’d constantly have to escalate their strength.", meaning Janemba and Hirudegarn are both stronger than Broly, and Hirudegarn is stronger than Janemba due to coming from a later movie.

If anything, it's been suggested they're weaker in the daizenshuu since it places the movie events between Goku's first SSj3 form and the climax of Super Buu fight. Additionally, Koyama had a certain restriction while making the movies: "With regards to the contents, there was the restriction that the movie “not progress into story settings further ahead than the TV anime at the time of its premiere”; for example, even if I’d decided to do fusion, I wouldn’t be allowed to do it ahead of the TV anime or the original manga." DBZ movie 12 was released on March 4, 1995. DBZ manga chapter 315, which was the debut of the final fight with Kid Buu, was released 3 days later on March 7, 1995. As for anime, episode 259 was released on March 8, 1995, in which Super Buu was battling Gotenks. There is no chance in hell Goku's and Vegeta's strength is appropriately portrayed in M12 to consider them stronger.

Kid Buu is not stronger than Buuhan. He's like half as strong. Maybe even a third as strong.
LOL, it was good till you got to Kid Buu being stronger than Super Buu. Super Buu is actually stronger than Kid Buu. Kid Buu is just more ferocious and more wild than Super Buu. Remember SS3 had no chance against Super Buu because he absorbed other characters and was too much for SS3 it's the reason why they fused. However Goku couldn't maintain SS3 and if he could he would had been able to defeat Kid Buu. Janemba defeats any version Buu it's obvious. Kid Buu is only stronger than Super Buu only if Super Buu doesn't absorb other characters inside him. Super Buu is smarter than Kid Buu, but would only defeat Kid Buu if he absorbs another powerful fighter inside him
Kid Buu being stated literally a dozen times to be stronger than buuhan, Goku boxing up a clone of ultimate Gohan, damaging super buu with just ssj1, Goku being able to fight buutenks, Goku being called stronger than Gohan numerous times massively outweighs that one super buu statement
Goku was also at 1/100th of his power due to his size so that could be why he thought super buu would kill him since he probably didn’t know he would return to normal once he left buus body
