I love packing cubes and couldn’t believe how much easier traveling had become the first time I used them. Not only are they great for your luggage, but when I travel, I like to unpack once I reached my destination. Now I just place the packing cube in a drawer, unzip it so clothes can ‘fluff up’ and I’m done. I will never travel without them. Lovely video.
I’ve been using the packing cubes for a few years. So easy to find what you need at a glance. No more embarrassing mess if airport security need you to open your case. Everything is packed in little cubes and bags. Nothing rolling around in the case. Thanks for sharing. 😀
This video was incredibly relaxing to watch. The color palette is so easy on the eyes. I love the look of everything. The music was hypnotic and soothing. Ahhh 😌... and I really enjoy using packing cubes as well. Great video!
Thank you for this! I recently purchased packing cubes in preparation for an upcoming trip and wasn't too sure what the best way to use them was! This was very informative!
I also use drawstring bags/ditty bags and small soft cases for all the little bits and pieces, but I've actually never tried packing cubes -- this video has definitely intrigued me to try them next time I travel :) Using similar folding, rolling, and stuffing techniques, though, my greatest achievement for packing was getting everything I needed for two weeks in Sweden and Ireland into one carry-on and one backpack -- including my shampoo and soap (both in bar form to avoid liquid constraints as well as buying these products abroad).
@@BenitaLarsson That trip actually was my first experience dressing in a minimal/semi-uniform way and I fell in love with it! It really was the first time I ever critically considered what I had in my closet versus what I actually wore, and made me realize I don't need to buy into fast fashion to look good and be happy. Also, let's face it -- travelling without worrying about baggage fees and waiting for suitcases is so much better than paying for your suitcase to have a ticket and then worrying it might not show up when all you want to do is get out of the airport!
Ciao Benita adoro tutti i tuoi video! Piano piano li sto guardando tutti…
I used packing cubes on the recent short getaway so I’m already a convert. This video was an excellent refresher for me and my upcoming international trips. Thanks Benita👍
Excelente. Desde que utilizo cubos para empacar, mis viajes ⛴🛩estan mas organizados. Todo es rápido y sencillo. Menos complicaciones....mayor felicidad😎
Love this!! I wasn't sure how all of the cubes would fit in the suitcase but they worked perfectly! Could you show us your carry on (purse) that goes with the suitcase sometime? When I pack my carryon for the plane, it feels like many individual things rolling around my bag, and I'd rather be super organized instead!
This is such a relaxing video. I'm going to use the Marie Kondo folding method because I'm just not a good roller. Rolling also wrinkles my clothes more. I then have to iron when I get to my destination. That's not fun at all.
Omg i was thinking the same thing and cringed. I really cannot stand people letting whayever footwear that touches nasty surface contaminaye my other clean stuff and clothes.. Theres always a plastic bag somewhere or newspaper to wrap them in
I loved the idea of packing cubes...till I tried them. My preference now is to keep my clothes items on hangers and then bundle them with the hook of the hangers in plain sight. When I reach my destination I grab the hangers, give my clothes a shake and hang them up. I grab the toiletry bag and hang that too. Unpacking completed. Undies, shoes, digital and ephemera organisers may or may not stay in my port depending on the length of my stay at that particular location.
Benita Larsson - so do I. When my inner circle complains, I cheat with an orange or an apple and say that I have color in my life. They don’t understand my appreciation for grey.
Hi Benita, I went to see if I could buy the packing cubes you used but they aren't in the travel or organization section of your Amazon Shop.... or if they are I couldn't see them.
Here's the Swedish link link resväskor.se/stor-resvaska/brics-capri-78cm-stor-gra/ and I think this is the manufacturer's link www.brics.it/en-gb/catalog/detail/large-capri-trolley/brk08032?ic=lmqXSg%3D%3D&icf=155 the dimensions differ slightly in the descriptions but you get the idea
What size cubes did you end up putting in the case? Was one side xl and l? And the other side 2 small or a medium and small? I'm really thinking to get these. Love your video.
To be honest I can’t remember. I played around with a set of both colors and tried different variations. I do think the XL is the one I won’t get the most use of. I would use that to pack really big items like jackets but I tend to only bring one and wear it when I travel.

Oh, I really love these packing cubes. I travel a lot and these packing hacks are so satisfying. :) Unfortunately my next trip is on Monday already - destination China. No time for buying these packing cubes. :-(

Not very minimal, so much more could be fitted. I've been rolling my clothes since the 80's. There were no packing cubes or compression bags at that time, however, I use to use large sized Ziploc storage bags and remove as much air as possible. I would roll my clothes then have one bag be under garments, one bag for t-shirts, one or two bags for long sleeve, button shirts and sweatshirt, etc... I did a week in Boston, MA in just a gym bag also did 4 days at Disney World in a duffle bag with lots of room for souvenir including a Grand Floridian heavy terry spa robe.
I have tried rolling, cubes, konmarie and folding but settled on keeping my clothes on hangers and bundling them. I have donated my bigger ports and have what the Amercians call a large cabin bag but here in Australia it is considered checked luggage. I pack 12 to 15+kg now. I have tried to reduce what I pack to a cabin bag but with no weight consistency between airlines I gave it up as a lost cause. We used to have a 10kg cabin allowance which was doable for me but not now it is 7kg. My old two wheeled cabin bag was 1.6kg so that meant I could take 5.4kg of stuff. The new bag is 1.9kg so that is 5.1kg. Yes I do wear my heavier items on the plane but it was too traumatic for me.
so neat (as a pin)... when i used to travel i used ziplog bags (big ones and medium ones) for a similar method - this is before packing cubes were 'invented' .... so are you going on a vacation? ;o

Ooh, I didn't even think about that! It's like wearing clean underwear in case you end up in the hospital!
So satisfying to watch this! And I'm not even going on a trip anytime soon! Loved the music! Tranquil yet happy!
I'm so glad you liked it!
Finally! Someone who knows how to fold clothes! ;)

I do pretty well with packing minimally; with mix and match pieces. Would love to try some of the packing cubes. Thanks for sharing.
I'm a packing cube convert after this for sure!

Loved this video from the written intro alone! Thanks Benita!

I’ve been folding my clothes this way since I was 9. My mother wouldn’t have it any other way. Great job n the cubes are cute.
so relaxing to watch this that I almost fell asleep :-) next time i cant sleep, I will rewatch :D
Ummm… I just love the music, so calming and travely😆

Slippers should be in a plastic bag before placing it into the packing cube. This will dirty the packing cube and causes all items inside as well.
