I'm a chronic tinkerer and the off-season gives me time to perfect all the ideas I have during the season and this channel adds to the ideas.
I'm 70 and been hunting since I was 9 and I'm still learning so I can make things a little easier on the old body. Success in the duck blind doesn't mean as much as it used to, but the memories are priceless. Love your channel

I will be watching because last year was my 1st year hunting ducks with my 2 boys 12 and 8. I never knew how little I knew about duck hunting till we started to watch your show. Well this past season was my first season of getting serious about waterfowl and I will continue to watch these videos to expand my knowledge for the field

Duck hunting is a year-round investment. Watching your videos gives us ideas that we hadn't thought of. Won't be too much longer will be draining the impoundment and getting ready to plant for this coming year. Keep the videos coming.
I keep coming back because I am a quack addict and cannot get enough of waterfowl hunting.
I am obsessed with duck hunting... it is bad but so good. I spend every day of the season either hunting or scouting for the next day's hunt. I found the channel in December and I have loved it ever since. I have been hunting my whole life and this is my third season hunting on my own. My dad hung up his gear a few years ago and only goes 2-3 times a year. I love the channel and cannot wait to see everything you do in the future! Thanks for the content Joel!

Will keep watching because the it’s good content. You not have only show good duck hunts but you teach those that are watching the do’s and don’t’s of waterfowl hunting, from guns, decoys, blinds, calling and much more. I’d like to see a show on waterfowl conservation. I love it!

Hi Joel, I am new to waterfowl hunting and watch your videos through the summer so that I can learn from someone experienced in waterfowl hunting. Hopefully, I will get my first duck and goose next season!
I learn so much from SDS. Not to mention my love for hunting waterfowl. We dont have a spring snow goose season here. Snows are few and far between.

Man. This was my first real duck season. Not just one hunt, but many. It was also my first time call for myself, make my own blind, set my own decoys, etc. I learned so much through your videos. It was my favorite place to go and watch/listen. I’m going to keep watching through the off-season to be sharper next year.
I’ll continue watching not only because they’re interesting, and because no matter what you know or think you know, there’s always more to learn! That goes for anything else in life as well

I am going to keep watching your videos through the off season because this was my first season doing some real duck hunting and I do not have anyone mentoring me because the number of waterfowlers where I live is extremely low, so I try to learn as much as possible from your videos.
I will keep watching Surviving Duck Season because you are a great guy who loves God, loves his family, and loves hunting. And I'm pretty certain they rank in that order.
