A friend gave me her sister's stash of clay when the sister passed recently. To honor the gift I had to relearn all the techniques I had forgotten. Susan is now my new "guru". The videos are not only presented in a "user friendly way", but also I thoroughly enjoyed watching them, of all the videos I have watched. Susan is the type of lady I find I could have a cup of tea with, or something stronger and talk beads and clay all day.

I have watched all your videos and I'm a better clayer for the way you explain techniques. You have the skill or ability in the field of polymer clay to explain how the clay works. This is one of the best videos for my learning curve. I have made many flowers but they were always a bit off (my flowers looked drunk ;). This week after your spotted flower video came out, I have made 5 flowers! IMO the flowers are beautiful (due to your instructions and close-ups). The extra time you took in explaining was "awesome". I'm a seed beader at heart and cannot wait to incorporate your style with clay into my seed beading. Thanks for sharing your talent.

Tfs this video. I have learned quite a lot from watching your other videos too. You are gifted and have the ability to share your thoughts & projects with others. I nearly fell out of my chair when you showed us the other flower beads that you made using this technique. So many variations. Thanks again for all the time you spend with your viewers.🙂

Okay, off to my arts and craft stores for more clay. These flowers are beautiful. I especially like the tiger lily. I’m having fun watching and trying to recreate. Friends and family are wearing some of my earrings and necklaces. I think they like them. At least that’s what they say... so I’m going with that. Thanks, Susan.

I had never done a Skinner blend and was always scared..but YOU are an absolute genius...I LOVE you ! and have become a complete groupie! My cane came out a bit softand mushy, do I had to let it set overnight but it still looks awesome! I my not use the canes for beads- but I promise to make beautiful things with them! So what I do it’s I invited my own language lol
I have really weird way to see things lol
Like for example I see your head like a beautiful fairyland library with stairs that go up and down and doors 🚪 that hide your memories I imagine that some rooms are very bright and some not to much lol 😆 some pink and some blue
The top one ☝️ where the gold stairs are it’s a special door 🚪 it’s tiny gold with brocade and diamonds and it’s your most lovely 😊 memories like your Grandma 👵! There’s more people there ladies and a guy a big angel that it’s looking the door but it’s very cute with pointy ears ......
Lol I think that I can write a book on the way I imagine people’s that I love ❤️

I love your videos! I’m a very “by the book” kind of person-I use rulers, you don’t; I worry when clay is too dark; you don’t! I need to learn to be more laid back and your videos help with that. You have tips just about the point I would start stressing out and suddenly, all is good again! I love how you mix the types of clay, pearl/glitter with a solid color, but I especially love the gold leaf! Thank you for taking the time to share your videos as well as your show and tell with the items you’ve made or the color variation of the same cane.

So gorgeous! I have several canes I finished and making beads is in progress but oh how I want to set those aside and make these.. right now! That's one of the great joys of polymer clay, you can always set it aside and come back to it later. Mine still don't come out as nice as yours do but practice practice practice! I'll get there eventually. Like you I've taken to adding the gold leaf to the outside - it adds that "glam" and richness these beads deserve. One of my friends comes over just to visit and plays with my stash of beads. Making necklace or bracelet arrangements for hours on end. It's great fun watching what she comes up with. I watched your bead room video. No wonder you always have the perfect combination of beads to go with whichever clay bead line you've made! What a stash. I admit.. envy set in. haha.. I keep trying to grow mine but I seem to use them up as fast as I get them in. One of these days I'll bite the bullet and do a huge bead order. Thanks again for sharing your amazing talent with us. It's so very generous of you.

I just wanted to thank you for your awesome tutorial! I have never messed with polymer clay at all until today. I am stuck out of town with no crafting supplies (and bored out of my mind!) so grabbed a box of assorted sculpey soufflé colors and a little tool kit at Joann. I looked through many tutorials and settled on this one. I was pretty sure I was going to mess it up (but just loved the flower and had to try) since it was a complex tutorial, but to my amazement I have the most beautiful cane of spotted flowers! You made everything so clear and easy to understand. Even my lack of a pasta roller didn’t hamper the project because your technique allowed me to stack the gradient colors to make the block instead of making a skinner blend. Can’t wait to try more of your tutorials!!!
