Fabulous video. Beautiful necklace. I have been looking for a dragons head, and the sideview of this is perfect. I'm a newbie and the use of the different tools is really informative . Thank you🤗🇬🇧
@@mrsmiggins6435 oh I’m so glad the video helped, I also have a bunch of tips and tricks videos that explain everything in detail for beginners so that may help as well 😁 Thank you for watching 🥰
Loving your tutorials!! I'm very new to polymer clay as my medium, and was told mica/ pigment powders would be hoe I finish them...but im struggling with them. Can you use the black paint over mica? Have you ever used the mica? And if you like using it, would you consider a tutorial on it?
I have used mica and once baked you can use paint on them but need to seal afterwards. I am planning on doing another tutorial very soon I will see if I can come up with something to help you.
I always place my crystals in oven with the clay. Resin I’m not sure. I have heard uv resin can be but don’t quote me on that. You would have to research resin. Crystals as I said, yes because temperature for clay is not hot enough to damage the crystals I use.
Absolutely you can use smooth stones. There are some techniques you may have to use it depends on stone. I have a bunch of tutorials on here using gemstones to show you different ways. Some you will use clay adhesive, some just a strip of clay to hold gem it really depends on the stone. My suggestion is go through my videos and watch the different styles so you get an idea of what you need to look for to secure your pieces.
@hellobaileysewell so far I have never had any issues with my stones or crystals being in the oven, I don’t believe temperature is hot enough to do anything
amzn.to/45IhgzF this is the paint that I used. You can just get the metal color set only but I use for multiple projects and purchased large set. It does dry fast and last a long time. Glad you enjoyed watching.
What kind of clay? You talk about the clay drying.... polymer clay has to be baked so I never use it with stones. All the tags on this video say polymer clay. Confused.
Hello, I am brand new to this. Still just doing research to see what supplies I need to buy to get into this. Just to confirm- is this the sculpy premo brand? And you did bake this whole piece, correct? Are there certain stones you should not bake? Thanks
@yesdnilg as far as what can and cannot go in oven you can probably google what can and cannot go in oven at 275 degrees. I would say research it to be safe. I have just put in oven and so far no problems but I’m sure there are some that can’t I just haven’t found or used any yet.

you hit 1000 subscribers!! Congrats. Beautiful stone. Does the clay dry your hands? Great finished product!
Thank you, and yes I have to wash my hands so much it dries them out terribly 😔 but it's worth it bc I just love creating ❤️
Thanks!

Love this! Have you ever tried making rings?
Not yet but it is on my list of things to do
Beautiful! So you don't need to seal this?
@@rachaeljohnson9583 I put a glaze on at the end over the clay never the actual stone.
Hi there, I absolutely love this! Could you tell me if it’s possible for polymer clay to stick to a smooth crystal? Would it be secure? Thankyou 💜

I use premo polymerclay it's the paint I talk about drying most likely
Also you can put gemstones in the oven. Hope that helps
