Thank you, I just installed mine
Great video - love the easy routing. I did want to mention that the graphic at around 2:00 mentions that 2008-2015 GLK head units are NTG4.5. However 2008-2012 are NTG4.0. The dash and head unit are quite different than the NTG4.5 unit / dash in your video.
I was quoted 1500 to install a back up camera on my 2014 glk... there has to a cheaper option
Is your site down? Wanted to purchase a backup cam for my 2014 GLK
Does it affect the add-on Map Pilot (installed in the glove compartment)?
Hello sir , no need to connect 12v to reverse bulb ?
What mode you configure the command center.
He removed the trunk handle but what if we have a power trunk… will replacing this affect the button to activate the power open feature?
Tengo un mercedes GLK350 2013 que cámara debo comprar que sea compatible con mi auto
I bought the unit installed it works great but not able to push radio back in, it stop at about half inch, can't go anymore in and it seems the aftermath plug is stopping the radio .
Any idea of what to do?
Thanks
Gus
You need to put back in place the radio brackets that were held by 2 screws on top of the radio behind air vents
@@CarsGadget Did that many times and still would not work. The only solution was to cut some of the plastic between radio compartment and ac control and push the huge plug underneath and that solved the problem. Spent hours but that was the only solution and it worked.
Thank you for answering
@@guszanfardino5188 you need to transfer fiber optic cable (2 Orange wires) from original connector to the provided connector.
Thanks
Does anyone know how to put the radio back into the dash? This video skips that portion.
There's tow clips that you need to take him up and then push the radio inside , I ran into this too, I was working in the dark until I realized that it interfered from behind and it didn't sit well with me, it took me a while , Two such hooks that need to be lifted up, when you insert the radio they fall and catch it, exactly where you put the screws back, if it is lifted the radio cannot be pushed back
poor install no solder connections, cheap just twist wires together and tape.
No? Doesn't need soldering, I wouldn't even recommend soldering for car wiring but you do you 😊
