Excellent information lil brother im right there with you my Challenger Scat at this point now is 825 whp everything you mentioned on your sheet and I've also swapped my stock 6 Tremec with a RPM 6 with their proprietary bullet proof clutch so yes it's coo coo with the Ben Franklin's no doubt but I'm I pleased absolutely 👍 no regrets

Hellcat engines are not fully forged internals either. If you pulley swap them you will likely bust a drive shaft, axle, rods, wrist pins and more. By starting with a scat you start off 40k ahead in savings if you are going to go full out 1200+ WHP and need to replace everything anyway.

Alot of confusion has been going around on what to call these. All superchargers are belt driven from the crankshaft. A turbo is driven from the exhaust.
Vortech, Procharger, Paxton, TorqStorm, ECS, A&A, Hamburger are all manufacturer names of CENTRIFUGAL SUPERCHARGERS. Look similar to a turbo but are belt driven. A "Vortech Procharger" does not exist.
Whipple, Magnuson, Kenne Bell, VMP are manufacturer names for POSITIVE DISPLACMENT/TWIN SCREW SUPERCHARGERS. Replace the intake manifold and sit on top of the motor while being driven by a belt.

I had a 05 dodge neon srt4 with a big turbo and full Bolt ons and a tune doing 580hp with out even building the engine or internals beside a stage 2 cam for the sound and a short shifter..

Another guy like this. Smdh. Vortech is not a procharger. Both vortech and procharger are brands that make centrifugal superchargers. So yes the vortec is a supercharger. It’s is NOT a procharger.

Good info im looking at pro charging my ScatPack and. It comes down to money. It would be allot easier to bypass all this and start with a hellcat. Basically 80k now for hellcat my scat was 43k so 20k into is actually not a bad deal to get close to 700 hp. Good video man looking forward to see it done.

Get a 5.0 folks...save your money. FORD builds them right. +250hp, Bolt on a Procharger, add injectors, spark plugs, and add fuel voltage booster. 650-750 reliable wheel horse power on pump gas instantly. No other upgrades required. Facts.
Na, see, people get mopara because they like them. If you truly like something money isn't an issue, you will fork it out regardless. Not everyone likes a mustang not everyone likes a camaro. Some people don't like the look of em, the sound etc. Some don't like mopar. But to say get a 5.0 it's kinda crappy because not everyone WANTS them. Plus you do need to things the the 5.0 to keep it reliable period. 392 needs forged internals after that you can have demon power and they will be fine.

I thought it was the other way around. The crank was strong or forged and it was the pistons that was glass.

No it's not the other way. 392s have forged crankshafts. The pistons are the problem. They are brittle. And the ring landing is too small. The rings heat up and expand cracking the upper ring landing on the pistons. The rods aren't bad. But they can only handle around 700 hp.

Bro try 30k 🤦🏾♂️ I regret buying a 392 because there really isn't shit you can do to make it substantially faster (safely) without spending upwards of 12-15k 🤦🏾♂️ even the 5.7 can handle boost stock. The 6.4 was never designed for boost. Why? No freaking idea. Dodge knows power hungry customers are going to seek more power. It's a good engine for what it is. But it's not good for boost

Your wrong about the 6.2 bottom end sorry my guy. Go to the Company called Late Model Engines or LME for short. Go get you their Gen3 6.4l Apache block Hemi that's built for boost and can hold about 1800hp. This 426 stroker engine is based on the 6.4l BGE Apache block. It was used in Speed Society's SGT Smash build which.was a charger hellcat widebody that they made as a daily driver with 1200hp to the wheels they actually said the motor was way over built for 1200hp. So there you go bro.
