I love how there’s like 5 keyboardists, 3 guitarists, 10 violins 4 cellos 12 percussionists and a brass section then there’s just singular Michael on the bass killing it lol
Dude missed the first note on his own song, I'd respectfully say he was hardly killing it lol, have you heard musicians like Flea, Claypool, Wooton etc?!
I can't believe I'm actually in tears after Cory's solo. It's like god is speaking through this man's playing. This whole arrangement is just incredible, and Cory's improv is divine.
First time hearing this with another drummer that isnt Larnell Lewis and its not bad at all. This drummer is pretty damn good aswell but man Larnell just takes this song to a hole other level.
The sound quality was bad but the performance was jaw dropping! I couldn't help myself but to laugh and cheer! What a pleasure. delay drop 1:50 unexpected tear down 7:20 alien emerging 8:50 and onward
Man, that was almost chilling. Such a blindingly sharp accent to this song. We've already experienced so much in the first ten minutes and they found yet another place to excite me. Hell yes.
the best solos are the ones that knownthat they use the lick and divert it by never resolving it, just likein this solo. he used it to get to a different chord change and then changed the entire feel of the solo.
I’ve never seen anyone straight up defile an organ like Cory did. Right in front of everyone in broad daylight. And everyone just cheered him on, never thinking to ask how that organ felt being used like that. Legend says that organ is still in protective custody, going through rehabilitative therapy for PTSD. It will never be able to live a normal life amongst the average every day organs ever again.
They have most of their live performances recorded on their website. You might have to pay though I'm not sure. They just released their performance at the Royal Albert Hall on Spotify this week too if you want to check that out.
My goal is to find someone who looks at me the way Michael looks at Cory.
2:24 looolllll
Hilarious
tryN to get Pregnant?
You pull off a solo like that I'll look at you any way you want
Aurumai y’all are hilarious man!! 😂😂

No more bass needed.

Michael always looks happy playing his own music, love to see it
lol I love the other percussionists faces when the drummer does his fills around 2:10

I literally cried too.
@@BrandonMilner Get some help...
That was the worst solo i've heard him do, you're a cork sniffing moron..
first 48 seconds are what truly define musicians flexibility to adapt different versions of literature. Truly amazing.
you can see the metropole orchestra enjoying it so much. great to see.
Possibly the greatest video I've ever seen

that moog was not wide enough for him lol :D
This Man is the number one
6:13 The Lick
Is there nothing else, but find in every solo the lick?
Kinda
the best solos are the ones that knownthat they use the lick and divert it by never resolving it, just likein this solo. he used it to get to a different chord change and then changed the entire feel of the solo.
Grandiose !!

Zzzz grow up...
Truly amazing version! Only the trumpet and sax solos sounded off for some reason
it's supposed to sound like that..
With the flutes they finally sounding like a traditional Chinese band
I'm an Orthodox Atheist... Cory Henry almost sent me directly to church!
Michael always looks like he’s surprised to be there even though he writes the music and is the founder lmao
Goddamn the way they go into it at 0:43
Hapiness is... 1:46
corry henry solo like a lasers through my head
What a skill!
Part of the gig requirements were that they had to dress in cult member clothes.
Best Comment, makes me want KoolAide & Purple Nikes. 😉😁😆

7:54 Cory is watching God.
The one thing I find completely baffling is that 12 people managed to hit the "dislike" button...
Dw most of them dont care which button theyre pressing
@@sriyansh1729, that's weird, lol

Always prefer this to the studio version ... the solo is better here too ... awesome
What genre is this?
4:40
Holy fucking shit that part at 1:54
Sounds a little bit like some One piece OST ! I love it 😁
7:43, Cory knows what reharmonization comes...
Anyone know where one can listen to a studio recording of this piece with the Orkest?
They have most of their live performances recorded on their website. You might have to pay though I'm not sure. They just released their performance at the Royal Albert Hall on Spotify this week too if you want to check that out.

J'aurais un bassiste come ça à côté de moi, ....Je saute par dessus bord...C'est claire!
how does he make the saxophone that noise?
Its called a peddle you use it to make different sounds on the instrument you can see chris bullock use a peddle even more at
