Young people might be shocked to learn that in the 70s when this type of music was very popular, more than rock! that the big vocal groups recorded with full string and horn sections, not synths... to get this beautiful but funky sound you can dance to.

    • @niftyp2320
      @niftyp2320 3 роки тому +5

I produce electronic music, I always try to use or at least emulate the intonation, imperfection, and organicness wherever I can. I firmly believe the flaw and richness makes anything dancing-oriented much better. Homogeneity is to be avoided in sound

Watch this over and over again, sometimes daily, especially now I'm down with the flu. Sure, Jacob and Cory are the soul of 21st century jazz. What impresses me is the ensemble playing by Metropole Orkest. So much to see and hear. Behind Cory: the drummer keeping pace like no-one else. "Just doing my work." A keyboard player on the right rolling out a magic carpet, string arrangements straight from the O'Jays, brass shouting it out loud, background chorus singing their hearts out. And then, around 6.30, Cory looks up. We have arrivesd in music heaven. Buckley relaxes and enjoys: this is what we dreamed of and we made it reality.

Let me share this with you.
Whoever God is, that is who He is. He cannot be nothing else, but that.
I have truly met Him. He showed me this.
God has always dwelt in community with Himself. He has never known what it is like to be alone. He has always dwelt in Love. Therefore He is Love.
He can never be alone, alone is a defect, a lack of,.. He has no lack. He has before the beginning, even to after the end in the palm of His hand.
He has dreams and desires just like us. He showed me a vision. The Almighty leaning back on His Almighty throne, looking up above Himself to His dreams. Choosing how the universe should be. Everything He dreams is perfect. Just, right and true. His dreams are Him. That are within Him, just like ours. His Spirit brings His dreams to Him. His WORD give birth to these dreams when HE speaks. When He speaks life is made. He is the Father over all. He loves us all. Beyond all our dearest dreams.
He can not choose to no longer Love someone because they are evil, wicked, or unbelieving. That is just not who He is. He is LOVE. He is eternal. The true Eternal God does not have such low power, energy, thought process or character. He is above all He is not needy or lacking in character. He will never lie to you or let you down. He does connect to, speak with and adore all His children. Even the naughty ones. He is Yahweh. The lover of our souls. Our very being cries out to Him, even when we are sleeping He is there. However the choice is yours. He is waiting to speak to you.
God - Father Son Holy Spirit. These three are one. Man - Mind Body Soul. These three are one.
Human beings are made in the image of God. When God revealed Himself what do you believe He will reveal Himself as...
A human being, yes, a Man, however, one that is like HIM, perfect, sinless, HOLY pure and true. Having all authority over evil, over all things.
Muslims believe that Lord Jesus was taken up to where allah is, allah is not in heaven, the quran teaches that allah is above all creation,
So Lord Jesus Christ has been with allah, sitting above heaven, above all creation with him, for the past two thousand years....
AND NOTHING THAT WAS MADE, WAS MADE WITHOUT HIM... THE WORD OF GOD.
When I speak, you'll be getting to know me through my word. However without that, you'll never know, Me.
Trust is Lord Jesus. The God of the Bible Speaks to those who call upon Him with an open heart. I promise you that. Speak to Him and see.

I love this! Yes, the mix is a bit off but I love the sound of the 'team'. Cory is amazing as always, and I think Jacob really gets some of the 70s sound into this and even a bit of Herbie Hancock's sublime ethereal style improvising.

@@sevchyk equipment can fail, even for them. Maybe, they were forced to improvise because of that?

Well, I understand and respect all of the technical points here - but in spite of these issues I think that this is absolute and pure magic, heaven may not be perfect but it could sound like this. Thank you to all those involved and to al of those who might have though it was ...... you. Of course, it might have been, it might be, it might well be
