The hell with this SF game, which may be a Vegas books setup game anyway for the Lions too lose. The must win game is the final game against Minnesota. It would be devastating for the Lions to drop from the #1 seed to a #5 seed if they lose to Vikings, with a 14-4 record. If that happens they are toast in playoffs because all the wind has been taken from their sails. The FORD CURSE maybe impossible to overcome, I pray to God Lions can overcome. GO LIONS!
I grew up and lived in Saginaw right in the heart of Michigan. I live in Florida now but my love for the Lions has not changed in my 43 years on earth. So I'm not being a downer when I say these things but am I missing something? 🤔 In 35 years of watching Lions football the one thing I have learned is to not count chickens that are not hatched. 🥚 🐣 Everyone keeps talking about getting the Number 1 seed and going to the Superbowl but we haven't even won our division.... Yet hopefully. Any other year this record would of clinched it weeks ago but since it's Detroit there has to be this unheard of time when Two teams in the same division win 13 games at least and 3 have 11 in the same year. So anyhow Say we go into SF and clock the 49ers 49-23 or something. It really doesn't matter because win or lose we still have to beat the Vikings the next week to win the division. If that doesn't happen everything else doesn't matter. You can't be a 1-4 seed without winning your division right? I understand a win against SF and a improbable loss by the Vikings means we can still win if we lose the last game against Minnesota with tie breakers but I have watched like 5 videos this week that act like it's a done deal with a win this week when it so is not unless I'm missing something. In reality the Lions are not as good as the team that went in and squeezed out a win in Minnesota earlier in the year. The defense is almost a completely different set of players. So I really hope all this talk about a 1 seed and Hutch coming back for the Superbowl isn't Jinxing this team. This defense the since the 2nd half of Thanksgiving has done pretty horrible just saying. We lost a game where we scored 42 points and had almost 500 yards of offense. That should never happen. I will get excited about the Superbowl when they get there.
I too have been Lions follower since the 60's and agree that this the most glorious season for the Lions ever may go down in smoke due too the plethora of injuries. I call it the curse of the FORDS which has been haunting the Detroit and Ford family for 68 years. Hopefully, God is on our side for once in my lifetime. GO LIONS!!

Forget revenge. If the Vikings win, protect your first string players! If the Vikings lose, beat the 49ers to clinch the #1 seed, then protect your first string players against the Vikings. If the Lions lose one, two, or three starters due to injury, it's pure stupidity. It's still stupidity even if no injuries occur.
Dan C is not going to do that, hes playing to win regardless, he wants a winning mentality going into the playoffs. He might rest some players nursing injuries and if it's a blowout, pull them in the 4th. Same with the Vikings game if.we clinched it already and I agree, well get a bi once we clinch
I'm glad someone else understands that this week means nothing if the Vikings win. The eagles can't get the 1 seed unless unless the Lions lose the division tho the Vikings. Which unfortunately is a real possibility. The Lions earned the win in Minnesota but it was a squeaked out win. Our Defense was way better then than it is now.
I get what everyone's saying but you can take off the draft picks and everything else off the table this game comes down to one plain and simple thing. REVENGE. There's no way the lions lose this game. They're about to completely stomped by the 49ers.
