    Day 1 of Tetris: Woah, 4 line clears give you so many points!
    Day 31 of Tetris: I've memorized 30 all clear solutions to have a better chance to use this as an opener

      WriggleNB lol PPT match making is kinda wild right now so it’s hard to get into it as a beginner. if you start playing on tetrisfriends, you’ll probably be more comfortable

      @@wawitetris5887 Oh, that's probably why I got matched against a top player. But, that's what really strengthened my resolve to learn advanced techniques.
      And yeah, I'll do that, thanks for the advice man!

      In Shuey's (the guy who did 300 PC's) vid, he knew all the pieces he was going to get, and planned out each perfect clear before actually doing the perfect clears. The most consecutive perfect clears that I know of is by cosin307 on King of Stackers, where he did 100 in a row in 1000 pieces. kingofstackers.com/replay-pcb.php?gid=20610#game

    It doesn't help. Chance is supposed to be high but I cannot fogure out how to do it fairly consistently. I can't learn either, I only remember a few of them and the rest I always fail. I have no idea what the combo is, so for me it's not 80%+ chance w/ successful setup. More like 20%

    • @myrmyxo
      @myrmyxo 4 роки тому +5

      The thing you need to do when PCing is not learnig all of them perfectly, you need more to think about everything. You have to know all of the twists and SRS very well, to get some pieces in the place required to make a perfect clear. Just practice in solo, fr.jstris.jezevec10.com/?play=8 this is a mode on jstris that allows you to. Some thing Wawi didn't talk on his video is th Grace system, that allows you to use only 6 pieces without the T and enhances your chances to do a perfect clear. It is relativerly hard to setup and sepecific to set up, so you should focus on the first setup. Here is a grace system is you want to know what it is fr.jstris.jezevec10.com/replay/12183861. Also if you use the I piece your first setup's chances to succeed drop to 60%, so keep that in mind. Looking others players perform perfect clear can help too, for example the second PC on the game I send you I did the second PC totally by accident, so don't restart you game if you don't find a PC immediately. Wathcing the best player will get you totally mindfucked but can be really interesting fr.jstris.jezevec10.com/replay/11904469 this one for example contains 46 consecutive PCs. A little good thing to know : If you do the first setup, if you get a T and two mirrored piecs (L and J, Z and S, and I and O), put you T pieces in the opposite direstion of the first T piece and place it in tront of them, clearing aline. You now heve a three line deep pit of two colomn thickness that gets thicker on the up on it, havin on missing block on each side. Now the three sets of mirrored pieces can clear them : L and J easily, I and O easily to and S and Z doing either a Z spin or a S spin depending on which on you put first. (like this fr.jstris.jezevec10.com/replay/12159012 on the second PC). It happens quite often so it is good to be able to spot it.
      fr.jstris.jezevec10.com/replay/12182920 here I started with a grace system and managed to get 5 PCs, and I could even have continued if I wasn't stupid and i putted the Z piece one colum to the left I could even have gotten 6.
      If you have any other questions feel free to ask !
