- Today, I talk about how to do some of the more common spins and twists that you see higher level players using to manipulate their pieces into the optimal positions. First half of the video explains how each of these common spins work, and the second half is a demonstration of each of these spins.

Damn. No wonder I can't s/z spin. Never knew they technically have 4 rotations. The I piece I always got by pure luck.

Whenever I go for PC openers I failed to do the T-Spin on the Z piece consistently. Sometimes it would just spin but never go in. I now understand I should have been rotating counter-clockwise! Such a silly mistake.. But now I realize why. :) Thanks for the clear explanation. I also didn't know the overhang on the L and J piece could be 2 high. Useful stuff!
Also, thanks for the link! Just spent 4 hours learning and practicing DT cannon openers. Figured it was about time to learn something besides PC openers. I realized that some of the DT cannon openers can lead to perfect 4-wide setups too. :)
@@Agilo3 yes, any T-spin triple will leave behind an overhang, which can be reused for 4-wide 😄

Edit: I think all of the different Spins are rewarded in PPT.
they’re not, it’s still just t-spins. but you’re indirectly rewarded by having a cleaner stack :P

So, I really want the computer version of this, but already have it on game pass and bought it for two other devices. Now, I'm stuck on an Xbox controller. What acts as a space bar on there? My stuff just keeps spinning at times, and won't spin at all at times. Do I have to break down and buy the computer version? Most tutorials work off there and I'm old school, so I'd probably be better on there anyhow.
