Yeah, for that one half Dutch girl it's her third language but the one she feels most comfortable in - it's incredible to become so fluent in a non-mother language that you feel you can express your personality better in it.

I jumped straight to the comments to see if anyone else caught this. I’m a Puerto Rican living in Japan raising 2 Half Japanese / Puerto Rican kids. I love my Cuban neighbors but we are not Cubans…
Wild how French/Japanese girl at 0:30 has distinctly western mannerisms when talking in French but goes full Japanese looking mannerisms when talking Japanese. Just an observation, it seems like totally subconscious code switching. It's almost like there's a natural cadence/flow to each language that is more compatible with certain mannerisms.
Yeah I was impressed, they must have been beautiful looking kids as they are women, you know they are passing that look to the right men in their lives.
It's not that unique. Basically every mix of asian and white produces a dark haired, dark eyed person, who looks mostly causcasian with caucasian features/jawlines but has eyes that are a bit off and they usually don't grow as tall. Another example of outbreeding depression and mostly the unwanted genes being passed down. It's an improvement for an asian because now someone in their family is tall, less round face with better jawline, and an epicanthic fold/bigger eyes than what they would have had. But that is a loss to a white family. That same person in that white family is shorter on average, has smaller eyes, black hair/black eyes etc. They could have easily had the same beautiful faces, just with more diversity of hair and eye color if they weren't mixed in the first place. And you'd be hardpressed to find anyone who thinks caucasian eye colors aren't more beautiful than just having black eyes. Ironically, "diversity" is killing the actual diversity of TRULY unique looks that humans have. And once we mix we cannot unmix. Mixing results in losing diversity in the long run, you aren't thinking in the long term, so to you this appears diverse because you aren't used to it. When in actuality it's nothing more than a path to the total and complete opposite. If everyone decided to mix tomorrow and continue that trend for the next 3 generations, you would wipe out gingers completely, blonde hair, blue eyes for the next generations. And that would be permanent. You cannot unmix. And you cannot ever mix your family line back to looking 99% white if there are no white people left to be with. This is not as much of an issue for blacks. When a black person has a mixed child, the child almost always looks black passing if not just straight up black. With asian/black, they just look like black people with slightly different/thinner eyes
Yeah but they love their race and want to keep it JAPANESE, the mixes are interesting and beautiful in their own way but it would be sad for Japan to lose what it is,

I was so shook when the Moroccan/Japanese guy came on because I’m also the same mix, and grew up in the UK too!! It’s such a random combination that I always get excited discovering others like me, and am so interested in how others navigated being from an Arabic or Muslim background + Japanese (both sides of my family were quite ignorant about the other, and I had my Moroccan cousins calling me the “Chinese cousin” 😅). Some challenges I faced when moving to Japan was that I felt my Japanese friends tried to “white-wash” me by calling me their English friend, when I got older and met new people in bars they’d be so brave in asking if Morocco was a dangerous country, or when I told them Morocco was located in North Africa they’d try to “compliment” me by saying that I look European and not African and say stuff like “you’re so pale though!” Like… I know they’ve probably never met a Moroccan person but the ignorance was mind blowing. So then I’d be like “Aw shit, Moroccan woman are so beautiful I hope I look more Moroccan and get darker skin when I grow up
I have had a few moroccan students, neighbours and friends, male and female, arab and amazigh. I think, as a maghrebi being "white" is generally "better" and has advantages (depending where you live ofc). If you look too amazigh for example, people face dicrimination from "whiter" moroccans and other ethnic arabs. I had toy scold students for belittleing berber (amazigh) people, because where we live, they are foreigners themselves and face racism/islamophobia, therefore should know better. Also, as there are many criminal moroccan men in France or Netherlands, etc. in the public eye (in continental Europe at least) (white) people have negative stereotypes towards moroccan (men). I understand that you dont have these stereotyping problems in Japan, so be happy that they "just" see you as their "English (which is not that off tbf) or African friend" - - but your family members being ignorant towards each other is sad because Ive met some of the most sweet moroccan people and I wish many more had this kind positive experience with Moroccans.
Don't forget to mention that white Dutch people are known due to pedophilia, mainly the abuse of little boys. In Asia they track white Dutch men when they visit. It's a white western value. I’m surprised there are no half Brazilian-Japanese on the video, since the Brazilian community is huge and Brazil is the country with the largest population of Japanese outside of Japan…
The majority of Japanese immigrants in Brazil are 3rd and 4th gen immigrants. They probably don't have a strong connection with Japan and thus don't visit the country.

Does your friend speak Doganese? 😂
Great video! Small thing: The flag 18:45 isn't from Denmark, but from The Netherlands!
The comments on your videos are so nice. This is such a calming channel
They are very beautiful people❤ I love the Mix of 2 different Ethnics
I just like it when they start to speak japanese, it's like seeing a different person and different personalities. It's like flipping a switch then,
Boom. Lol
Your perception is interesting! Most pure Japanese people have the opposite personality when they live outside of Japan. Social behavior among Japanese is very strict and being rebellious leads to many reproaches at work, family and with friends.
It’s so wonderful to see these happy people, proud of their varied backgrounds. I am also mixed as an Irish/Mexicana born in the states. I was blessed/cursed with curly hair. I was bullied because of it. Some kids lit my hair on fire on a school bus. This was a very long time ago. I love seeing that these wonderful people seem happy.
hmm curly hair is a human trait , not a race thing , unless you have African-American hair
@@sdqsdq6274 "African-American hair", you mean coily?
Do you realize that there are millions of Black people who have been in the U.S. since 1619 and also a few million Native/Indigenous people who have been living on their ancestral homelands for 15,000+ plus years? It's weird how ypu conveniently erased them to give the impression that the U.S. population is solely white and European-American to fit your narrative 😒
@@sdqsdq6274 No, I’m Mexican- Irish.
@@aldoatemiscampos4518 not really coilly, but fine, sort of tight and frizzy.
I love watching these videos. My wife is from Osaka, I'm from the US, so of course our kids are half Japanese. At times I wish we were raising them in Japan but other times I don't just because I don't want them to grow up not feeling accepted in a society. It's really interesting hearing these people's stories. Great videos. 😀
17:53 Half indian/japanese girls are sooooo gorgeous
Do you know her @?
❤ definitely

Agree, took my breath away..
WOW!! Half Japanese are beautiful and I love their culture..
Thanks for shawcasing this kind of vloggs..Blessings to you Takashi
Mina Okabe, Every Second, what a great song.
All I'm seeing are beautiful people with great stories. Great video.
I watch a lot of your videos and I enjoy all of them. But, I enjoyed this one in particular because of the discussion of being mixed race and mixed background.
Being from two backgrounds is challenging when you’re young and surrounded by people from one background. But it’s interesting and invents a creative mindset.
They all are stunning and have amazing energy
I find it interesting that a lot of these individual's background is not from English speaking nations, but they seem to speak fluent English. Just an observation, and BTW, everyone is very attractive.
Because most went to international schools and are generally skilled in either English, French or both
17:35 the girl in black is absolutely stunning!
Agree
she ok , not stunning
Really? I found her so basic looking and thought her taller sister in white was slightly better looking.
@@UnapolegeticallyAProblemjealous much?also we petite women are more wanted stay mad yall always gotta say something
@@UnapolegeticallyAProblemshe is beautiful as a woman i say this why is it hard fr you to admit?not everyone likes tall women she is not better just because she is tall tf
Lovely video!!! Made my day....seeing all these beautiful individuals speaking about their multicultural experiences.
Hey Takashi, your English is much more native like nowadays! Impressive!
WOW, The Russian Japanese young woman speaks very "American" sounding english and even her demeanor strikes me as American.
her russian was rough
You mean the annoying Valley Girl accent? 😂
As an American, I agree! If she hadn't said differently, I would've thought she grew up here and just had immigrant parents cuz that's the vibe she gives!
@@xPand0rumx Not surprising I think. I'm sure it's not easy to use Russian very often when you grow up in Japan. If the Russian parent doesn't speak Japanese very well they probably communicate in English around the house. Could be many reasons why.
Very American. And gorgeous.
The half boricua (Puerto Rican) half Japanese girl is stunning ❤️
いろんな個性的なHalf Japaneseが出てきて楽しいです。次を楽しみにしています。
My nieces and nephew are half-Japanese, half Jewish-Canadian. Born and raised in Japan and absolutely beautiful (and I'm not biased at all :) ) Interesting to see how many you interviewed were not raised in Japan, but elsewhere.
So cool to see 😂 damn even a Moroccan - Japanese mix? I like it haha we moroccans always loved Japan and it's culture ❤ such an amazing video yet again Takashi Thanks
I envy people who can fluently speak multiple languages. I really struggled with languages back in school and basically just gave up. All I speak is English. 🙁
You can do it friend. Just learn the verbal tenses, irregular verbs and some vocabulary, that together with the structure of sentences will help you a lot
Duo has been a great help for me.
Haha same I’ve also have always loved Japanese culture.
I speak turkic(uzbek) russian english, and about to learn japanese or german!!
Everyone can do it, do your best!!
Du schaffst das. 🎉
The half Japanese half Nigerian girl is so stunning!!
That hafu look more Hawaiian than Nigerian
This was beaituful to watch.
How ironic is it I was just listening to the song “Every Second” by Mina Okabe , I first heard it when working in retail and fell in love with it. Nice to see her background as well everyone else’s. Such a great interview! ❤
OMG!!! Mina Okabe sings one of my favorite anime EDs! "Every Second" from A Condition Called Love! Her voice is so beautiful and soothing. It was so cool to see her as one of the interviewees.
This are a bunch of very interesting people with whom I would have love to converse with myself! I also love the little things, like every single one of them changes general demure and gestures when continuing the conversation in Japanese. Even the way they look at the interviewer changes.
Hey, i'm french ! Thx for this video. I notice that it's the moms who are Japanese and it's the dads who travel! I'm French from Marseille and originally from Madagascar. Japanese culture appeals to me a lot, so why not go there one day and maybe live there!
As a Canadian who's moved to Mexico to be with a Mexican woman, I know all of their parents probably have really interesting stories.
I’m enjoyed watching your show. I was surprised when I see Kemio san. He is both a model and a talent.
half japanese is one of my favorite bands , i was searching them and this video came up , cool video actually. And yeah anyone who like very obscure or outsider music type of music give half japanese a listen lol.
dutch girl at 6:00 reminded me when she said her different persionalities come out speakind different languages, its the same for me with my native dialect and dialect of my city, which I'm both fluent in.
Exactly! Cannot agree with her more!
What an incredible video - I almost felt like I was in the 3000s, and this were literally the World as we then experienced it, futuristic, edgy, and full of respect yet homogenous in a sense.
Wrong flag at the Danish girl
Dutch flag
Not the wrong flag, just a bit early with the right flag :D

All these people speaking 3+ languages! I'm so envious
Among the Puerto Rican siblings, the guy is very rational and mature. It was great to watch.
I love these videos ❤ it's fascinating to hear how the cultures blend and differ. These people are gorgeous
So interesting. I love to see the result of different cultures and genetics coming together. Speaking so many different languages and each so uniquely stunning.
Amazing interview, amazing mixes, amazing people 👏👏
I’m surprised there are no half Brazilian-Japanese on the video, since the Brazilian community is huge and Brazil is the country with the largest population of Japanese outside of Japan…
The majority of Japanese immigrants in Brazil are 3rd and 4th gen immigrants. They probably don't have a strong connection with Japan and thus don't visit the country.
I once dated a girl who is half Chinese and half Peruvian. She grew up in Peru. She moves to Vancouver only to end up marrying a Peruvian man.
@@smashman8828 There are nearly 200,000 Brazilian-nationals living in Japan, many of whom are Japanese Descendants and their families.
You would have thought it’s just. Half Nigerians over there
東京はブラジル系少ないと思うよ。愛知に極端に集まってるからね。
Interesting the Indians and Japanese, there seem to be more than I thought. Btw The flag at 18:42 is the Dutch flag (Netherlands) She said she was Danish, which is Denmark.
the Foreign minister of India also has a Japanese wife
@Shiva-nx1tn I noticed this thing .
India-east asia marriages are mostly india- japan.
Same with india europe
Mostly india-Russia
This was actually really interesting. The half Indian and half Japanese women were 👍 👌
You are making me japan, how can I move, loving there already and you create lovely video interviewing half’s .
Crazy, I was watching this. I instantly recognized Mina Okabe, she’s an awesome artist !

Smashed this out the park Takashii. Awesome content 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
With the Indian/Japanese guy I can only hear the Indian accent 100% holy smokes! The indian/Japanese girls sound Indian. The Russian/Japanese girl has no Asian features at all! She looks european to me. The Japanese/Moroccan guy just sounds like a Brit. The Irish/Japanese girl sounds both Japanese and Irish to my ears. The Persian/Italian/Japanese guy sounds Japanese and looks Latin. the Nigerian/Japanese girl looks like a full Japanese girl just with a tan and braids😂 as a Canadian myself, i knew the Canadian guy was Canadian from his voice 😂
The Nigerian girl looked fully black to me. All of her features are extremely African. Including the eyes as many Nigerians have small slanted eyes
Awesome video. The multilingual aspect is amazing.
