As a bass player - I can't profess my deep and undying wish to play with drummers like this one. Absolutely killing it. Those fills are just monstrous.
For real the bass player can barely be heard and the new lead guitarist isn’t that good. I’m sure if Dylan could find a way to do lead and sing he would.
I like the lead guitar. No idea what the haters are mad about. HIs high harmonies intermix nicely and add layers of depth. You don't hear that sort of thing in Pop music so it's excusable that people can't handle it. Blink 182 or Nirvana wouldn't do that. But that whole power chords and nothing else for every song has been really played out in my opinion. I am glad they add that extra layer of depth. Just my opinion on that though.
the lead melodies really blend well with the power chords, i agree... one of the main reasons i like this band. No idea why anyone would ever complain about that but i guess music is subjective .
more like the sound of "chose to leave my high ranking doctorate granting university where experiments proved the non-existence of the luminiferous ether and was later understood as convincing evidence in support of special relativity as proposed by Albert Einstein in 1905"
Ray Keys So you're saying that categorizing music into a cliche is a original comment? The way I see it, and probably for most people, the original comment has no originality itself as a review because of the categorization of "I didn't want to leave my liberal arts college but they made me after 5 years." Yawn.
Do you know how much of a pain it is to haul drums when you gig regularly? I only play a 4 piece with 4 cymbals and it still SUCKS lol . I use a setup like Jayson's whenever I have the chance.
totally agreed guys ! But i think that playing a kit like that is like playing guitar using only 4 strings. It's a bit too restrictive ... maybe adding a tom could bring new possible combinations and new fills :) What do you think ?
Again: Great riffs, melodies! I really love their music! but his voice is soooo thin. Sorry, but they should find a singer with more personality. He should have take more singing lessons.
this guys an influential drummer to me. Minimal gear and just bashes the fuck out of it. new guitarist sounding good. Will take me a while to detach from their second album though
Tomorrow we're opening for these guys in Singapore. Stoked and honored to be opening for our inspirational band

“Left the light on to take account
Of all the fire in me
Won't come over and make it out
A little lighter to see”
He'll always be the best drummer around. Seeing him in real life right in front of his kick is life changing
"I took singing lesson once, with this guy" - best story ever.
Curt interviews with Dylan and Cheryl
One of the most beautiful guitars I've seen on this show held by Dylan. Hope they never stop making music!
This drummer is destroying it with the simplest kit ever.
Huh??? How??? Explain
As a bass player - I can't profess my deep and undying wish to play with drummers like this one. Absolutely killing it. Those fills are just monstrous.
wow, that i was awesome. the drummer killed those skins. this rocked fellas!
Everybody doing relatively easy stuff, and there's the drummer killing it like there's no tomorrow kkkkkkkkk Great drummer
For real the bass player can barely be heard and the new lead guitarist isn’t that good. I’m sure if Dylan could find a way to do lead and sing he would.
@@CW0123this band absolutely scorches. Who fuckin cares if it’s technically perfect. It’s rocknroll
Damn haven't listened to these guys since attack on memory. I remember being really hyped for that album like it was yesterday
that pickguard on the BASS is fucking amazing. Band's awesome too...
this is beautiful
Kick ass, love Cloud Nothings!!!!
get them on here again! i’d love to hear the new songs in a KEXP session
enter entirely is so fucking good
I like the lead guitar. No idea what the haters are mad about. HIs high harmonies intermix nicely and add layers of depth. Cloud nothings are tight man their music is definetly dope as fuck 🤘👌🤙💥
"You can be anything when you grow up"
Simply awesome!
Yessss!!!!! 💪
Enter entirely sounds so sick played a little faster
Sebadoh, and, in the quietest moments, Dinosaur Jr.
drummer tight af
All these people critiquing punk music like it’s the philharmonic orchestra baffles me.
Hooray now on the live you can hear Chris's guitar :3
They're supporting Dinosaur Jr - So I'll hopefully be seeing them at the Roundhouse UK, december 15th. very impressive
Kind of wish the camera was just on the drummer the whole time. I've never seen a kit with just two snares and cymbals. That was nuts to watch
Honestly a better recording than the album IMO
I don't think you and I listened to the same album.
/shrug I prefer the grittier sound to these guys.
I thought the lead guitarist had his guitar turned up higher than the rest of the band. The previous two performances on KEXP were very good.
I totally agree with this. The album just seems like it's missing the energy that this has.
❤️💪❤️💪❤️💪

16th minute is dope.
почему песня "sight unseen" на таймкоде указана как "follow you" ?
Great sound!!! New songs are nice, but I prefer old songs. Anyway I respect these guys.
Вот это круто
The drummer played the living fuck outta those drums!
Fuck.. That was awesome!
Anyone have an idea what the pedal is that Chris uses right after Dylan's solo in Enter Entirely is?
very 90's
they got a new guitar player?
ビームス
want to know whether he knows what the Japanese words on his shirt means
does anyone know what overdrive dylan uses?
back to their emo roots. It's a good thing that other guitarist left the band. He was totally trying to run the show.
This is my favorite band, but the lead guitarist had his guitar turned up way too high. It drowned out everyone else's instruments.
Dinosaur Jr. anyone?
Yeah, you are right! They too are a band!
охуенно пиздец моя любимая группа
они здесь на KEXP уже дважды. у вас есть хороший вкус братан !
pornofan99 i know! thanks!
まさかビームスTシャツなのですか?
Its good but sounds like Pavement vs Dinosaur Jr.
I don’t take that as a bad thing ;)
All great! But the Lead Guitar was way too high on volume, it kinda ruined the recording :(

thought this was going to be an april fools jokes for a minute.
hahaha you guys are being too strict
this is the sound of "I didn't want to leave my liberal arts college but they made me after 5 years"
more like the sound of "chose to leave my high ranking doctorate granting university where experiments proved the non-existence of the luminiferous ether and was later understood as convincing evidence in support of special relativity as proposed by Albert Einstein in 1905"
mxsxkxcrc Let us reflect upon your glorious music taste, sir.
Ray Keys So you're saying that categorizing music into a cliche is a original comment? Yawn.
Ray Keys huge fan keep up the good content
why on earth would a drummer play with such a minimalist kit? I really don't get it!
great performance tho ! :)
The mark of a great drummer is his ability to groove on a small kit. Also easier to transport??
Less is more. Think of the ramones, also why would he take anything he's not going to use?
Do you know how much of a pain it is to haul drums when you gig regularly? I only play a 4 piece with 4 cymbals and it still SUCKS lol . I use a setup like Jayson's whenever I have the chance.

What do you think ?
He wanted to be sure everyone could read his T shirt.
killers/dandy warhols influence in a big way
shaunone no way the killers
First 👍👍
Wow that guitar was really out of tune on the first song..
yeah ugh
Again: Great riffs, melodies! I really love their music! but his voice is soooo thin. Sorry, but they should find a singer with more personality. He should have take more singing lessons.
well he writes all the songs so that's pretty unlikely
And to add he’s here singing g and playing his balls off and you’re at home wanking on fender squire
terrible singer though
Cody Power agree but is soppose to sound that way
Edward M yeah ok but it still just doesn't sound nice to me, which is a shame because I like the instrumentation a bunch
Cody Power their going for that grunge sound
That's just like, your opinion man..
this guys an influential drummer to me. Minimal gear and just bashes the fuck out of it. new guitarist sounding good. Will take me a while to detach from their second album though
Rum02 listen to "the spits", the drummer doesn't even use a ride cymbal or floor tom.
rum02 love the band but that kit would be to small for my liking. I go with the snare, Tom, and floor Tom with a high hat, ride and, crash.
