Great vid, along with the other one describing how to take the pump apart completely. I've seen that valve for sale online for up to $40. I checked the price via ereplacementparts and it was under $13. Frankly I'm surprised. I thought you would try to rope people in with this vid and than milk the ignorant for more selling the part. Not the case as your price is great.. Sweet. For those who can't get the valve out try running the motor -- the water pressure will help force it out.
Great video. I've heard of other ways to get the spill valve out but the only times I've had to remove them, the pump had to come apart the valve forced out from a hole in the housing.
This sure looks easy but you need a Torx 30 head and an allen ratchet (good luck with that) before you even start. I made do (allen wrenches for both being careful) but I still could not get the pump head off... it would not budge??? Easy? Hardly. It's a knuckle buster.
i have the 4.10 model, when i first got the unit, the motor used to rev itself up and down until i pulled the trigger, then the motor ran constant. Now the motor just runs constant and when i pull the trigger, nothing happens. At the back of the engine, there is a rod mechanism and if i push on it, the motor slows down and the pressure builds up then i can use it, but if i let go of the trigger, the pressure stops and the motor just revs higher constantly. Is it the spill valve causing this?
you did not mention assessing the bore the spill valve goes into and possible cleaning of it. Mine has crud and corrosion in it...thinking of using a shotgun brass barrel wire brush on a cordless drill to clean hole. Would this be OK...or possibly damaging? Also my upper o-ring groove on the spill valve has 2 o-rings in the 1 groove (one looks square cut, the other round type. One other thing....why no silicone grease on the lower o-ring? Thanks
I have Craftsman pressure washer.. when I separated the pump front the motor, lots of oil came out. I see that nothing comes out when you take the pump off.. Should there be oil coiming out from there? Thanks !
My pressure gun stops working after releasing the trigger, nothing happens on subsequent squeezes. When I shut the washer off there is still pressure in the line between the gun and pump, so much that I can't take the hose off the gun or pump. A day later w/o starting the pump I squeezed the trigger and the pressure in the hose released then I could remove the hose. Is that still the valve or is it the gun?

I have no information on the B602 Pump. It looks to be a European model for which I don't have any information. The safest recommendation I have is to take a look at the owners manual and see which oil and weight they manufacturer recommends for this application.

@kodibass ............i believe it is only $15 dollars....if you remove the cover of the spill valve and lubricate it with wd-40 that usually fixes it for awhile

Cannot get my spill valve out even with a new pair of vice grip needle nose pliers. Any suggestions
Karcher's website for ordering that unloader valve shows a photo of a fellow putting Teflon grease on the small end.
