Hi Buzzy - good to see you in the thick of it again - I’m based In Adelaide and hopefully I will spend 3 weeks in Yorkies Knob at the back of July and into August - I’m recovering from cancer and I will finish my chemo in April - I’m looking forward to fishing the river and creek at the Cairns side of Yorkies - - can you please give me some info regarding what I could catch - this would be really appreciated - tight lines Geoff

Hi and yeah i agree when ever the weather is really calm its hard to catch fish. When its rougher we seem to do way better

At least you got out on the water. Side scan will never work in 57m of water, shallow stuff up to 25m is the best you’re going to be able to do. If you want to sidescan deeper water you need to get a towable transducer on a big assed cable. Typical setup for that is about $25k!.

Mate, I do appreciate the passion and sentiment behind your UTube vids, and I am a subscriber to the channel, but I’m wondering if you might consider a little more informative dialogue for viewers from other regions? The beautiful big ‘Chinaman Fish’ in the opening sequence for example, why not save a few ‘oohs and aahs and guys’ and tell the audience why you’re unceremoniously chucking the poor bugger straight back over the side like that! And for goodness sake, get yourself a barometric spike to help deep water fish like that on their way.
Love Ya Love Ya Work … but really mate.
