Finally a day out 😀 however the water conditions were a little bumpy so in this video I decided to stay in sheltered reefs hunting the coral trout and demonstrate why I changed my mind on CIRCLE HOOKS.

I love mustad demons for my bait rods in the holder for snapper in victoria. I just use a straight uni knot since the hook has a straight shank but a snell is slightly better.
When pickers are taking your bait to quick use a bigger bait. With a bigger bait the pickers will try grab it but it gives the bigger fish time to get in on the action. I prefer whole flyer squid, on 2x snelled hooks, its tougher and lasts longer.

Hi thanks weather was nice howeva water condition wasn’t so great…i was lucky i stayed in sheltered reefs and was pretty rough on open water😩

@@niahvail8506 the one i used for trout was 9/0 and for the mack was 11/0 3xheavy gauge all mustad demons all the way😄

As much as we love fish ...at those prices we can't afford to buy it.

Great to see ya back out Buzzy ☺️. Any tips for young players for catching coral trout? I’ve bought my first boat and head out to the reef on really good days, have had some success with mackies on the southern side of Arlington, but haven’t figured out coral trout yet

Hey mate Nice good trouties.👍i got a pointer , I'm not a fan circles as you pointed out but if they hungry and fat and time the year they really on the chew, having alsorts load of hooks thinking or yeah they look nice&waste many $$ and 20 years later theres hooks &loads of tackle+stuff that ya just don't use ,so when the trout play the game they can be finicky and smart& allusive there 2 hooks& quick coupla pointers that I use, maybe others can disagree 😂I cover reef ,inshore shoals & estuary Barra jacks pelagic live bait ,dead baits if there a few little bit surface rust that got moisture or used quickly give em a sand up file and quick coat spray paint em ,bronze Karly and the shanks eagle claws but i find those kharli awesome when the trout are playing the game as you can understand buzzo , finding strike&load up no worries when needed I found can be leader issues 2 or heavy outfits that's totally Unnecessary, shniter pound leader is my preference over any soft bulky clear leaders on market today, finicky trout tricks double paternoster kharli,if not yellow zones, save up ya prawns shells freeze em&drop frozen ball or chunks as they sink break up as they get down in trout country or put 3pillies can fire em very quickly if not give it on drop too bottom yank em off I find ya can hide hooks well and hold Phillies baits excellent as ya circles would to but ,trouties they will dust ya up in the reef often not the fish too eat.not at all too worry about bag out buzz,cant believe it's like 75kilo southern fish market price 😂 have you ever caught Robinson SeaPearch OMG it's so good my no 1 trout nanny etc great but totally doesn't come close , pure white glissing fillets not even shows blood on skin side no pinbones

Hi just reaction cant help it😀 i have already given the fish plenty of time to set the hook so its already done its job as u can see in the vid.
I like strike is just to make sure the hook penetrates incase it didnt👍

Hi I mostly just go to BCF or anaconda they have had most of my needs. If your after something higher end tackle world or bransford tackle up the northern beaches worth a stop😀

You could probably make a fortune just doing 1 on 1 fishing tours with your fans. It’s not for everyone…. But I would pay just to come out with you once, watch, and have a go
But I get it’s just your passionate hobby and that’s a personal thing too 😊 not bad if you wanna go commercial one day though $$$$ ;) 😂
(You’d have to blind fold your guests to their secret location and turn off their gps tracking location of course 😂😂) the feeling of catching one big trout would be worth it !
