I have loved rediscovering this music after a decade and a half under many influences and a rough hell of a ride. Thanks TBS for being my fuel through a lot of hard crap then and now.

About to turn 37 in 4 days. I’m jamming this right now. Getting older has really got me down lately. Taking back Sunday has made me feel better. We are all in this together.

Can't wait for the summer show in Buffalo. They killed it on Halloween a few years back. Got me through untreated mental illness in HS during the early 2000s. Now I'm in a great place as an adult and it's such a treat to be able to still enjoy their music. Will ALWAYS be one of my favorite bands , thank you TBS.
I was worried about coming back to this song after the emotional impact it had on me in highschool. That album helped me through a lot and I still love it even if I am in my mid 30’s 😅
I used to listen to this album religiously in the 10th grade on the bus ride home. And in my room at my parents house. The impact this band had on my life from this line up to the line up with Matt fazzi, to the original 5 members line up will always bring me joy. Glad to have grown up with this band, regardless of who was in the band. Every member made Taking Back Sunday something special. Oh and even the line up with Jesse lacey and their old lead singer was something special too
Best pop-punk/emo band of all time, they paved the way for every single band that wanted this sound after them. Timeless and classic, I’ll be bumping this until 2050 lol
42yrs old and still jamming to TBS, The Used , senses fail, brand new, Valencia ,and saves the day etc other than late 80s / early 90s hip hop this is my favorite shit.
Not even 1 mil? Holy shit, this is such a banger though. And I was surprised they only had John for one album, they totally changed their sound with this one.
34 years old rn in 2023 and literally TBS is the only reason I’m proud to be from LI-NY, having known them and grew up with them. Forever a staple in my playlist
This, Hawthorne heights, the used, smile empty soul, breaking Benjamin, Chevelle. Made my child hood great. 35 now, 4 boys, 7 dogs, and 15 years in the Army today. 2 wars and all that's happened is this song now hold more meaning.
It's the early 2000s. I'm nearing the end of my time in college. Life makes even less sense to me now than it did as a kid. MTV randomly shows me this song. It is perfection. Thirty minutes later I have the CD and am busy learning to scream my lungs out over it. Eventually I grow out of my emo kid phase, but 20 years later I know I will never grow out of my emo appreciation phase. Close your eyes, just settle, settle.
This song is so cool and beautiful.. Our memories.. Our feelings.. Blend with the time that has passed.. Thanks a lot Taking Back Sunday for everything..
This is the song that got me into these guys years ago (damn near 20 years ago, wow) and despite it being one of their hits/singles, it's still my all time favorite song by them.
Sitting here watching my kid do his homework, and realizing he is the same age I was when I started listening to these guys. Damn where did the time go? I don’t know why, but I’ll listen to this music, brand new, senses fail, emery, starting line, and I’ll be enjoying it and then I get this profound sense of sadness I can’t shake. I miss being that kid.
2000s (2005/2006) listen the songs / Emo kids in the high school. 2020s (2020/2021) again listen all the songs / Return style Emo Adults in the work or in the home .
This song was HUGE when it came out. I still think its incredibly underrated because it never gets talked about. Vividly remember listening to it and singing it in the car with my friend Bobby Bowman during our high school days. And I remember this music video was on very often back when it came out too. The way the 2 vocalists voices compliment and overlap each other is $. They have very good voices. And the overall catchy beat of the chorus, has a great bridge section, like I said it's all $. A 10/10 song. Thank you forever Taking Back Sunday for this song. P.S. I always loved the actual name of this band.
I think this might be their most powerful single. And it's funny, 'cause I thought of that for every single I listened to from them lol. From CWTE, This Photograph Is Proof, then Makedamnsure, and finally A Decade. Both Adam and Fred were so fucking raw here, and I think that's what makes this era untouchable (imo anyway).
I've been trying to find more songs like this that have overlapping/alternating vocals. There's a ton of classic rock, but I'm looking for more modern stuff.
Everyone in their mid 30’s (including me) is STILL LISTENING 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Best pop-punk/emo band of all time, they paved the way for every single band that wanted this sound after them. Timeless and classic, I’ll be bumping this until 2050 lol
Guitar tone & melody are rad
Oh lord, high school memories galore. late 30s club, gang gang.
42yrs old and still jamming to TBS, The Used , senses fail, brand new, Valencia ,and saves the day etc other than late 80s / early 90s hip hop this is my favorite shit.
Heck yea!!! No one EVER mentions Saves the Day!. You, music lover, Rock!!
Not even 1 mil? Holy shit, this is such a banger though. And I was surprised they only had John for one album, they totally changed their sound with this one.
It's over a million now. :)
This upload hasn't been up for all that long either.
They say it was a phase.. still 25 jamming TBS daily. Thanks to my older brother's for shoving these bands down my throat when i was growing up!
If it’s a phase, it’s a hella long one. At least for me.
32 tomorrow... still listening to TBS...
@@rorypuds I’m only 19, discovered them 2 years ago. Been listening to them every day ever since
@@rorypuds I will be too! Haven't stopped since I was a youngin'.
@@kingexclusivo NICE!
Thank you for your service!! ❤
Without our amazing military, we wouldn't even have this song. 💯
40 yrs old, loved it then and still do to this day.
Saw them live at Warped Tour 2004. Unforgettable memories. Loved them live.
Another beautiful piece of my teenage angst, here with all others who have also seen decades under the influence!
My high-school attitude, not because they made the song but we were all there and taking back Sunday delivered. Legit 🙌

gotta hear this … :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
I was in highschool during 2003-2007, and this band was absolutely amazing.
We want Fred back! Fred's TBS Time, equal peak TBS
Fuse days! God, i wish i could go back to my teenage years and Vans Warped Tour! Good old days!
So young, 49 and it's still great
36 n still rockn ds piece of gold
Only real ones know l do miss the TBS era superbly acted by ADAM ❤ thank you for all of the memories and great nostalgia 😭💖
One of my favorite songs in my younger years ( thanks to guys for sharing this!!)😊
This is so good but you must hear “Winding Road” or “Live Not Survive” by SLT 🎶🎸🤘
32 Year old hip hop and trap producer coming back now. Saw these guys in 2007. huge inspiration to me.
Trap is garbage
@@JohnWick-vh2qy you're entitled to your own opinion, but I will respectfully disagree.
@@WAVYFUTURE mumbling garbage. It doesn't take a genius are that stuff bro
32 years old still listening to this song since the album dropped and it never misses 🖤
Stop it, you're making me feel old. And I don't like it.
Really glad they opened for MCR in Portland, they went as hard as MCR, TBS really made the show memorable.
how does this song not have at least a million views yet..................crazy. This band was a hug part of my late teens/early 20's

gotta hear this … :) :) :) :) :)
Please please TBS go on a tour! You will be so surprised on how many super fans you have!! You guys are on my top bucket list!!!!
This is so good but you must hear “Winding Road” or “Live Not Survive” by SLT 🎶🎸🤘
They're on tour now, I'm seeing them in 3 days. 🤘
Never gets old! Got 2 kids and still falling in love to these set of songs emo era ❤️❤️❤️
Forever listening to this
This is so good but you must hear “Winding Road” or “Live Not Survive” by SLT 🤘🎸🤘
This song is so cool and beautiful.. Our memories.. Our feelings.. Blend with the time that has passed.. Thanks a lot Taking Back Sunday for everything..
love it🤌0:26 2:12 to end 🥰.... in High School this album was definitely a favorite of mine
▶️🙋♂️🎸
I don't know if anyone else agrees but Taking back Sunday is one of the few emo bands that didn't change its style at all and they are loyal
They did after Louder now and New again. Once Fred, Matt and eddie left they went downhill fast.
@Fullcollapse1 aww I was just thinking I wanna see them live but not if most left.
P.S. I always loved the actual name of this band.

gotta hear this … :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
Never gets old!❤
Was this re-uploaded?!? And if it was why?? One of my favorite songs and a great music video!
Maybe because it was owned by victory records. Just my guess
Feeling the same....not sure. Weird. But I'll take it. 🤷
Idk
spatial resolution was bad in previous video, very pixelated, too much compression, probably because early youtube compression
I'm 67,my son got me into TBS
17 years ago, when I took him to
Taste of chaos, still a favourite song of mine now.
