Its 2005, your just hangin out on summer vacation from school, thinking your heartbreak was the worst thing ever. Now its 2020, your working, trying to pay Bills, living through a pandemic, stressed to the max. I wish I could go back :(
The Spider-Man 2 soundtrack was pretty legendary wasn't it? Couldn't believe one of my favorite bands was a part of one of my favorite movies. Life was so much easier back then. Being in your thirties ain't so bad if you know what you're doing tho I guess.
I was in High School, and we were considered fucking outcasts for listening to this type of music. We were at the bottom of the social class, but we gave no fucks lol. Going to shows every week was what we looked forward to.
nmnmnmm We were the bottom of the social barrel for listening to emo through middle/high school. We were rejected to no end. Never went to proms, homecomings, and shows because everyone was a dick to us for being "emo". You weren't missing out buddy lol
I am coming at this from a different perspective. My daughter was 15 when this cd was out..she introduced me to this band. Her music taste was tough on my ears at times, but I loved TBS. Here I am at 61, listening to Where I Want to Be and crying because I miss those times.. and this music that holds years of memories for both of us. I love it more now than I did then.
I have to say, I love how this is aging. TBS was the shit back then. I remember my friends and I would drive around with the windows rolled down on the freeway blasting this.
TBS is incredibly underrated. The dual-vocalists gimmick could not have been pulled off better than they did across all their albums. But particularly in this song. Simply stunning, even now in 2021.
Well, I'll wait till you listen I won't say a word to follow your instincts Which just never worked for me Oh, you're silent but strong Yeah, I'm playing that card And you're noticing nothing again Now I'm lying on the table with everything you said Keep that in mind, the way that it felt When the most I could do was to just blame myself (Feel it out for once and feel nothing like everyone else) When the most I could do was to just blame myself And I know you know everything I know you didn't mean it I know you didn't mean it I know you know everything (Drop everything Start it all over) I know you didn't mean it (Remember more than you'd like to forget) I know you didn't mean it So, we're talking forever and you almost feel better But, better's no excuse for tonight You see, it's never bad enough to just leave or give up But, it's never good enough to feel right Now I'm lying on the table with everything you said It will all catch up eventually Well, it caught up and honestly The weight of my decisions were impossible to hold But they were never yours, they were never yours (They were never yours) Well, I know you know everything I know you didn't mean it I know you didn't mean it I know you know everything (Drop everything) I know you didn't mean it (Remember more than you'd like to forget) I know you didn't mean it Drop everything Start it all over Remember more than you'd like to forget Drop everything Start it all over Remember more than you'd like to forget Would you like to forget? Brings back so many memories of moving into a crappy apartment when my mom left her abusive piece of shit boyfriend, a new start in a new part of town, just me and my guitar in my room. And a mind full of dreams that pushed me to practice for hours a day until I could play through this whole album, and FATA's Fiction We Live. Now here I am watching this as I'm about to release my band's first EP. Fucking awesome
15 years old is always the age I think of when I reflect on these times. It all started there for me, and a lot of others from what I've seen. What a journey, good luck to you in your travels ✌
Fuck I'm old. I was in 8th grade or a freshman in high school, a decade ago, when this came out. I remember The Fuse always was playing emo or punk. It was the last of super successful 'rock' it seems. I remember Myspace was the shit, and shows were super easy to set up, and hot scene chicks were everywhere. Fuck my life. I'm old, work shit jobs, and am alone.
Good ol nostalgia.....hurts when it hits doesn't it, remembering more simple times in life like myspace and road trips with your bros to venues and shows. I know man. You've got to look forward though, I'm probably about the same age as you and find myself thinking those same things.... But then I realize that I'm the one paving my own path, you just gotta get over the nostalgia trip, think back on those times, and appreciate that you ever even got to experience them. Save them to tell wild stories to your grand kids some day, move on brother. We've all got to. Music sucks today, society sucks today, but we've got to be the generation to change this way of life.
acidtabsnkoolaide same here dude, i discovered Incubus on Fuse in like 2001 during their Morning View album release.....Fuse got a soft spot in my heart for sure. The real MTV warriors haha
lyrics- Well, i'll wait till you listen I wont say a word to follow your instincts just never worked for me you're silent but strong, (yeah, I'm playing that card) and you're noticing nothing again Now I'm lying on the table with everything you said keep that in mind the way that it felt when the most I could do was to just blame myself (Feel it out for once and feel nothing like everyone else) when the most I could do was to just blame myself and I know you know, everything I know you didn't mean it I know you didn't mean it I know you know, everything (drop everything) I know you didn't mean it (start it all over) I know you didn't mean it (remember more then youd like to forget) So, we're talking forever and you almost feel better but, betters no excuse for tonight you see, it's never bad enough to just leave or give up but, its never good enough to feel right Now I'm lying on the table with everything you said it will all catch up eventually well, it caught up and honestly the weight of my decisions were impossible to hold but they were never yours they were never yours Well I, know you know, everything I know you didn't mean it I know you didn't mean it I know you know, everything (drop everything) I know you didn't mean it (start it all over) I know you didn't mean it (remember more then youd like to forget) Drop everything, start it all over remember more then youd like to forget [x2] Would you like to forget would you like to forget drop everything, start it all over well, drop everything start it all over (would you like to forget) drop everything start it all over start it all... fuck yes! thank you for this list! I've been trying so hard to remember the bands I use to listen to constantly in middle and highschool and these are definitely the top ones!
I thank my great sister for introducing me to this band so many years ago. This is the band i listen to the most. So many years ago listening to these songs getting pissed off at girlfriends i have never had, looking forward to being a Alternative singer. Gosh this band pretty much shaped me into the awesome person i am today. Taking Back Sunday will never die. Nor will their music's power.
I get that hip hop is having another golden age right now but GOD, I miss bands like this. Nothing in rock is really popping right now. If I'm wrong PLEASE throw some bands my way I'm looking for new ones to listen to.
djpyro86 Haha. Most of the indie i like is like 3 years old. I'm always behind in new music. Check out Brick+Mortar and The Gay Blades. Those are some newer bands that are pretty damn amazing.
This band has a special place in my heart because I was living in Chicago for two years between 2004 and 2006 and this band huge impact on my life. It will always remind me of that time in my life and now 44 years old.
The first 2 albums of tbk were my high school anthem albums. Feeling super emotional and also wanting to rock out lol. As an adult it still sounds great and I know if I'm ever divorced I'm going right back to this song 😆 😆 😆
April 2023, I'm 25 years old and jamming this to this day. My dad had at least 3 gigantic cd cases when I was a kid. All full of certified bangers and this cd was one of my favorites.
I must have genuinely listened to this song almost every day senior year highschool. Hits me like a tidal wave of nostalgia. Good on you guys for this absolute smash.
One of my all time favorites!! "Where you want to be" is still my favorite album ever. I always just assumed that Adam wrote the Lyrics to this song.. just learned a few weeks ago that Fred actually wrote the Lyrics.. Man I really really miss the Fred era.. it'd be freaking awesome if he rejoined.
this will FOREVER be my favorite song by TBS! I saw you guys in concert in 2007 with Linkin Park and I practically died. This song was the BEST in concert and I will forever remember that experience! Adam, dont stop being awesome!!
The days when TBS, MCR, and The Used played together were legendary. We'll never get that back but we have memories and the feelings that keep them alive.
Saw a TBS and The Used show in the Redlands CA around 2004-2005. Fall Out Boy opened. Wow, had an amazing time and I miss my friends who were there with me.
Still amazed by Adam's mic kung fu, flips and whips mic like nunchucks ^0^..destroyed a lot of microphones copying his style and still not half as good as sensei Adam
I gotta say at 33, a ton of stuff I loved as a kid didn't really age so great and I enjoy laughing at it. TBS is like a fine wine, more delicious with every year honestly. Still goes hard.
I'm not into weird rock videos. Many videos literally ruin the songs and that is the reason why I LOVE this video! Not confusing, to the point, band looking hot, sick and mean destroying everything🔥🔥🔥 love this energy!!
I love this band so much, watched taking back Sunday when I was freshman in high school 2006 in San Bernardino CA at the orange show, they played with underoath and it was the most unforgettable concert ever this song just takes me back, thanks guys for some of the best memories of my life
I'm glad I found this type of music, I'm not an old school person like a lot of other who know taking back Sunday. I'm only 15 years old and I'm glad I found these classic songs of the early 2000's. It makes me feel like I connect with others. And it feels like I traveled back in time.
I heard this song playing on a dive music radio station today. The frequency only comes through clearly in a certain part of town. They played this song on repeat the whole day. Then I got home and continued playing it on repeat. I miss this kind of music....
"This Photograph Is Proof (I Know You Know)" Well, i'll wait till you listen I wont say a word to follow your instincts just never worked for me you're silent but strong, (yeah, I'm playing that card) and you're noticing nothing again Now I'm lying on the table with everything you said keep that in mind the way that it felt when the most I could do was to just blame myself (Feel it out for once and feel nothing like everyone else) when the most I could do was to just blame myself and I know you know, everything I know you didn't mean it I know you didn't mean it I know you know, everything (drop everything) I know you didn't mean it (start it all over) I know you didn't mean it (remember more then youd like to forget) So, we're talking forever and you almost feel better but, betters no excuse for tonight you see, it's never bad enough to just leave or give up but, its never good enough to feel right Now I'm lying on the table with everything you said it will all catch up eventually well, it caught up and honestly the weight of my decisions were impossible to hold but they were never yours they were never yours Well I, know you know, everything I know you didn't mean it I know you didn't mean it I know you know, everything (drop everything) I know you didn't mean it (start it all over) I know you didn't mean it (remember more then youd like to forget) Drop everything, start it all over remember more then youd like to forget [x2] Would you like to forget would you like to forget drop everything, start it all over well, drop everything start it all over (would you like to forget) drop everything start it all over start it all... Well I, know you know, everything I know you didn't mean it I know you didn't mean it I know you know, everything (drop everything) I know you didn't mean it (start it all over) I know you didn't mean it (remember more then youd like to forget) I know you know I know you know...you know, you know, you know...
Music will never be now what it was then. I think Adam Lazzara was underrated as a singer. I just think he had a wonderful voice. I loved this ENTIRE band. Im 31 and this 22 yr old (my friend) asked me had i heard of TBS... She was playing louder now. I explained it came out when i was 18. And i love it now just as much as i did then. Lol.
If anything, todays "twerking" and crap with all the "thugs" and "fuckboi"s is MORE cringy than the emo days. At least people had a good taste in music then.
This is and was TBS's best lineup. Happiness Is , also is a great album though with the original crew too. Still adam and fred sounded more epic. Louder Now is on up there.
Senior year 2022 nearing graduation we were broken up, and I still the remember the chill of the spring wind and the smell of the air while walking out to my car to go to school. I miss you.
One of the best bands ever... in this pandemic I miss so much with all my heart that times ... some years ago that left an indeleble mark on my heart forever😭
Brings back memories when I was like 14-15 years old. UA-cam was not available, at least at my household back then. The only way I could listen to this song was via a local radio station that played nothing but rock music on Saturdays. They would play this song like 2-3 times the entire day, which means the radio was on for 18 hours. now i'm 32. Time can be a real bastard.
i had a horrible week so today my hubby took me out for a long drive to nowhere bc we love doing that and listening to music. got my iced coffee and we’re blaring tbs and hawthorne, underoath, etc. We’re in our 30s but 15 again today 🙌🏻
I remember in 6th grade in 2006 I went to my friends birthday party he got a couple TBS CDs as gifts. Listened to them while playing Halo 2 on XBOX. Good times
Its 2005, your just hangin out on summer vacation from school, thinking your heartbreak was the worst thing ever. Now its 2020, your working, trying to pay Bills, living through a pandemic, stressed to the max. I wish I could go back :(
hahah that's real talk! cant believe senior year of HS for me was 2006, shit flies by!
Would you like to forget?
Feels man
🤦♂️😢
you just made me so incredibly sad... UFKC!!
The Spider-Man 2 soundtrack was pretty legendary wasn't it? Couldn't believe one of my favorite bands was a part of one of my favorite movies. Life was so much easier back then. Being in your thirties ain't so bad if you know what you're doing tho I guess.
It would have been great to hear that song play in No Way Home at least during the end credits.
People never appreciated Emo when it was prominent, the same way Grunge was frowned upon. Now you miss it more than ever.
Looking back 14 years, still listening and you're right, people now think it's cool to be into older stuff.
+BlueFacondor we were all fortunate to grow up listening to bands like TBS. timeless music
Nirvana ? :)
15 years later I'm still trying to sing both vocals
Omfg same 💀 🤣
Never stop tryin'!
Every time lol
😂😂
same xD
I am coming at this from a different perspective. My daughter was 15 when this cd was out..she introduced me to this band. Her music taste was tough on my ears at times, but I loved TBS. Here I am at 61, listening to Where I Want to Be and crying because I miss those times.. and this music that holds years of memories for both of us. I love it more now than I did then.
❤
adam lazzara has mastered the art of mic swinging
apatternedhorizon apart from a couple serious mishaps!
decisamente
Before Adam, there was now “art of mic swinging”
He keeps this same stage energy today
Mics are for singing not swinging tho
I have to say, I love how this is aging. TBS was the shit back then. I remember my friends and I would drive around with the windows rolled down on the freeway blasting this.
Never gets old brother
just be grateful for being able to witness this
This was life... These memories
Andrew Rouyer doing that right now.
I'm from Skeleton Clique (TØP fandom) I thought you were talking about Taco Bell Saga xD
“You see, it's never bad enough
To just leave or give up
But it's never good enough to feel right”
Man...
Yip... It hits home alright!
TBS is incredibly underrated. The dual-vocalists gimmick could not have been pulled off better than they did across all their albums. But particularly in this song. Simply stunning, even now in 2021.
Way back in 2003,what brought me to TBS was their back and forth style of singing. That has had me hooked since and forever will!
Underrated? Lmao what? They were like the biggest most popular band in the nation during their heyday
Am I the only one can hear the pain in the drums?
Song gets me every time.
Andres Smith no, I can too. this entire song has a lot of pain
Maybe in the voice... But drums?
Andres Smith ... YES !!! ... tension, yearning, catharsis. It’s all there. 👍🏼
During the " I know you didnt mean it." Yes I feel that.
..you forgot the bass too
Well, I'll wait till you listen
I won't say a word to follow your instincts
Which just never worked for me
Oh, you're silent but strong
Yeah, I'm playing that card
And you're noticing nothing again
Now I'm lying on the table with everything you said
Keep that in mind, the way that it felt
When the most I could do was to just blame myself
(Feel it out for once and feel nothing like everyone else)
When the most I could do was to just blame myself
And I know you know everything
I know you didn't mean it
I know you didn't mean it
I know you know everything
(Drop everything Start it all over)
I know you didn't mean it
(Remember more than you'd like to forget)
I know you didn't mean it
So, we're talking forever and you almost feel better
But, better's no excuse for tonight
You see, it's never bad enough to just leave or give up
But, it's never good enough to feel right
Now I'm lying on the table with everything you said
It will all catch up eventually
Well, it caught up and honestly
The weight of my decisions were impossible to hold
But they were never yours, they were never yours
(They were never yours)
Well, I know you know everything
I know you didn't mean it
I know you didn't mean it
I know you know everything
(Drop everything)
I know you didn't mean it
(Remember more than you'd like to forget)
I know you didn't mean it
Drop everything
Start it all over
Remember more than you'd like to forget
Drop everything
Start it all over
Remember more than you'd like to forget
Would you like to forget?
Would you like to forget?
Drop everything, start it all over
Well, drop everything, start it all over
(Would you like to forget)
Drop everything, start it all over
Start it all
Well, I know you know everything
I know you didn't mean it
I know you didn't mean it
I know you know everything

I know you didn't mean it

I know you didn't mean it
I know you know
I know you know
I know you know
(Drop everything)
(Start it all over)
I know you know
(Remember more than you'd like to forget)
You know, you know, you know
Brings back so many memories of moving into a crappy apartment when my mom left her abusive piece of shit boyfriend, a new start in a new part of town, just me and my guitar in my room. And a mind full of dreams that pushed me to practice for hours a day until I could play through this whole album, and FATA's Fiction We Live. Now here I am watching this as I'm about to release my band's first EP. Fucking awesome
Did You release it? How's the band going?
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Dude that's sick man!!! What's your band called?
Hell yeah! FATA was another great band! Also from NY I think.

I am literally spiraling into a nostalgia fueled slope wanting to live in this era again and be 15.
You and me both. Found them at 13 by 15 they were my therapy.
15 years old is always the age I think of when I reflect on these times. It all started there for me, and a lot of others from what I've seen. What a journey, good luck to you in your travels ✌

You're just one year ahead to me. I want to live in this era too and change some things.

16 year old emo music fan to save your hope in humanity!
I'm surprised that this song isn't as popular as some of their other songs are. This was the song that got me to fall in love with their sound.
oh but new american classiccc
Wow, you're right. I actually feel this captures their "sound" perfectly, better than any of their other hit singles do.
I can't believe this wasn't their main banger. Doesn't even come up on the UA-cam search first.

It’s always been that line when he sings “it’s never bad enough to leave or give up” when he makes his voice crack and it sounds good
Fun Fact: Tom Delong directed this video.
Really?
wow
Yeah didn’t know that until I saw Fred talking about it on his channel not too long ago
TBS lead vocalist will ALWAYS have the best stage moves
@Jack Page Fuse was the best.
I get that hip hop is having another golden age right now but GOD, I miss bands like this. Nothing in rock is really popping right now. If I'm wrong PLEASE throw some bands my way I'm looking for new ones to listen to.

La Dispute,Cloud Nothings and Joyce Manor there's more but these comes to mind
You are aware that TBS still releases new music right?
Yeah I know their last album just dropped in March but I'm just looking for variety you know?
This band has a special place in my heart because I was living in Chicago for two years between 2004 and 2006 and this band huge impact on my life. It will always remind me of that time in my life and now 44 years old.
One of my favorite bands since I was 16 and I was lucky enough to see them at Warped Tour '12, they're still rocking it!
Oh look this song fits my adult feelings too...
Right?! Comes back 10+ years later.. amazing.
My thoughts exactly
I wish you weren't so right about that, man.
funny as hell and so true i may be getting older but songs like these talk me back to a time when i thought i had things all figured out lol.
Every time Adam hits a high vocal chorus we can see how well (or unwell) we can all sing this song LMAO
This was my favorite song in 2005...major fucking nostalgia...wasn't prepared for these feels. 😥
What a freaking cool ass guy
Omg
AND SO HANDSOME
The damn nose ring just does it
Sassy Killjoy yelp thats it😘😍

Emo never dies! Been listening since I was 5 till now. This music will always be the best. Post Hardcore. Metalcore. Punk. Emo.etc.
I will not let this music die
It will never die and it wasn’t a phase!!!!
Adam Lazzara is the GOAT of this shit! Incredible vocalist; Nothing but raw emotion + an incredible vocal range.
Top awesome things to know about this song:
1. Tom DeLonge directed the MV of it.
2. It's a Tobey Maguire Spider-Man 2 soundtrack
Two of my favorite things lmao
wait wait this was in spider man and i missed it
Yo what lmao I knew the first but no idea bout Spider-Man , that’s awesome but I must’ve missed it . Gonna rewatch lol .

If you're listening to this in 2024, we can be friends!! 😊😂
I was listening to "Decade Under the Influence" again and came across this one which I completely forgot about. Fused days nostalgia is real rn.
This has been my most listened to band for 3 years now. I'm here every year❤
Yay there's hope 4 me
FACTS HOMIE!
Tbs paved my emo childhood. ESPECIALLY this song.
The first 2 albums of tbk were my high school anthem albums. Feeling super emotional and also wanting to rock out lol. As an adult it still sounds great and I know if I'm ever divorced I'm going right back to this song 😆 😆 😆
Saaaaame ahahaha
This song always takes me back to my sophomore summer year…. Great memories 🥺
April 2023, I'm 25 years old and jamming this to this day. My dad had at least 3 gigantic cd cases when I was a kid. All full of certified bangers and this cd was one of my favorites.
The emotions are flowing uggggh! TBS forever!
I must have genuinely listened to this song almost every day senior year highschool. Hits me like a tidal wave of nostalgia. Good on you guys for this absolute smash.
Let me start my 2021 with this song.
I was always in love with this band. I really felt every emotion through their voices and instruments 😍
The only band that's ever used layered vocals with such ease.
this will FOREVER be my favorite song by TBS! I saw you guys in concert in 2007 with Linkin Park and I practically died. This song was the BEST in concert and I will forever remember that experience! Adam, dont stop being awesome!!
TBS 4 life ! as a 37 year old man, I will never get old of this band.. I have been a fan since i was a teenager..
Remember more than you'd like to forget. Holy emo.
The days when TBS, MCR, and The Used played together were legendary. We'll never get that back but we have memories and the feelings that keep them alive.
Well Burt from The Used turned into a prima dona and a toxic liar so its good MCR got away from him
My favorites were (and still are) TBS and Brand New. I loved the little lyrical battles they had going on.
@@sarahhughes4437regardless of what you think about Burt McCracken, The Used were a billion times better than MCR.
Saw a TBS and The Used show in the Redlands CA around 2004-2005. Fall Out Boy opened. Wow, had an amazing time and I miss my friends who were there with me.
Last year, TBS and MCR played Riot Fest together and it was AMAZING
Still amazed by Adam's mic kung fu, flips and whips mic like nunchucks ^0^..destroyed a lot of microphones copying his style and still not half as good as sensei Adam
He still does that shit too. Just saw them tonight and couldn't believe he still has the same energy on stage that he did back then.
@@AeroAstro_321 that's cool I didnt know they still tour
@@thewanderingwitch88 yep they're on their 20th anniversary tour right now
just remembered that TOM from Blink 182 was the director to this music video...or am I wrong?...Bless this music...
Wait really?d
yes he did
***** thank you :D
Anonymous who cares it was a shity video
Kylo Ren, clearly you do, because you're here.
A lifetime ago, my buddy and I would sing this at a karaoke bar. Never did it justice.
I miss this kind of music! Thank you for making music like this, you made my childhood!
Im 32 with no kids , and i live in the past when music had deep meaning n made perfect sense especially the origins of emo punk
Cheers to the 30+ year olds coming back to this song & band. This is My favorite tbs song❤
Mine also 💚
I absolutely loved this when I was 14, I'm 25 now and I'm still in love. Thank you TBS for the memories. ❤
30
How’s 30 going ?
Still one of my favorite TBS songs! I wish they could come to Manila once again..
One of my favorite bands while I was in high school
Mcr
Taking back Sunday
Hawthorne heights
The used
Afi
Turtle Reed yup! same here except im still a huge fan of the used and afi.
seeing afi live end of this month and saw the used back in April.
Turtle Reed h
you're missing brand new and linkin park
@@noahburgos9625 not a real big fan of brand new
@@SuperTurtlemandude1 jesse lacy was part of them, he's in taking back sunday too
I gotta say at 33, a ton of stuff I loved as a kid didn't really age so great and I enjoy laughing at it. TBS is like a fine wine, more delicious with every year honestly. Still goes hard.
The BEST TAKING BACK SUNDAY LINE UP. EVER!!!!! ❤️❤️
I can't believe this song is 10 years old- wtf! I feel so old...hahaha
same here :))
I KNOW THE FEELS THAT YOU FEELS
Same hereeeee :)))))
oreninja Bought this album when I was 12 back in 04 haha. Still not feeling old yet but it's hard to believe I've been a decade under the influence :)
oreninja I can't believe its 14 years old
2005, my mom had this and Incubus playing at all times. I miss those times, we still listen to this but life has made it bittersweet
I've been listening since their first album, seen them a bunch live and will continue to listen and see them when they tour again. 🤩
And it feels like I traveled back in time.
hope the vibe is still going 6 years later
This song hits home on some rough days in my life... Memories. Remember more than you'd like to forget.
Damn this is so nostalgic.
+Ziggy Stardust I love your name lol David Bowie rocks
Jalia Brodie Bowie is love :)
+Ziggy Stardust Yes he is
+Ziggy Stardust Cobain is life
I’m quite surprised this song wasn’t included on their recent greatest hits album!
"The weight of my decisions were impossible to hold, but they were never yours." TBS is life.
Briana Thrower hi
Dope ass breakdown
I just realized this video was directed by blink-182's Tom Delonge
Realtalk?
Aliens. Man.
Facts
Tom is still a genius 💛
Damn that's cool!
How could I have never known of this band until now??? They're awesome!
These guys were my favourite band when I was in 6th grade..... Almost 23 years old now and I still know every lyric to every song ; loveeeeeee this
0:37 I love how Adam comes into frame and Fred kinda leans over to the mic right when the vocal harmonies begin 🥹🥹🥹
Still have this song on repeat man 2018 still the jam
Soundwise. This entire album is before its time
God dammit this album is AMAZING!!! It is such a time capsule yet still feels relevant.
20 years after and you can still relate, hits different
I was madly obsessed with TBS starting in 2004
Same, but 2002 when I was 7😂
I heard this song playing on a dive music radio station today. The frequency only comes through clearly in a certain part of town. They played this song on repeat the whole day. Then I got home and continued playing it on repeat. I miss this kind of music....
"This Photograph Is Proof (I Know You Know)"
Well, i'll wait till you listen
I wont say a word
to follow your instincts
just never worked for me
you're silent but strong, (yeah, I'm playing that card)
and you're noticing nothing again
Now I'm lying on the table
with everything you said
keep that in mind the way that it felt
when the most I could do was to just blame myself
(Feel it out for once and feel nothing like everyone else)
when the most I could do was to just blame myself
and I know you know, everything
I know you didn't mean it
I know you didn't mean it
I know you know, everything (drop everything)
I know you didn't mean it (start it all over)
I know you didn't mean it (remember more then youd like to forget)
So, we're talking forever
and you almost feel better
but, betters no excuse for tonight
you see, it's never bad enough
to just leave or give up
but, its never good enough to feel right
Now I'm lying on the table
with everything you said
it will all catch up eventually
well, it caught up and honestly
the weight of my decisions
were impossible to hold
but they were never yours
they were never yours
Well I, know you know, everything
I know you didn't mean it
I know you didn't mean it
I know you know, everything (drop everything)
I know you didn't mean it (start it all over)
I know you didn't mean it (remember more then youd like to forget)
Drop everything, start it all over
remember more then youd like to forget [x2]
Would you like to forget
would you like to forget
drop everything, start it all over
well, drop everything start it all over (would you like to forget)
drop everything start it all over
start it all...
Well I, know you know, everything
I know you didn't mean it
I know you didn't mean it
I know you know, everything (drop everything)
I know you didn't mean it (start it all over)
I know you didn't mean it (remember more then youd like to forget)
I know you know
I know you know...you know, you know, you know...
i hope they upload HD version of their videos. hihi
2019 !!!! Still nostalgic 💯
Lol.
Haven't heard this song since I saw it last on fuze while getting ready for highschool. Why does my back hurt suddenly
why cant todays music be like this. ahhhhh good times
If anything, todays "twerking" and crap with all the "thugs" and "fuckboi"s is MORE cringy than the emo days.
At least people had a good taste in music then.
Hate to be that guy but I feel like you'd enjoy this. It's fresh too: ua-cam.com/video/WeUjCVfojtA/v-deo.html
Brilliant music video. I mean, anything directed by Tom Delonge is just fabulous.
This decade sucks, I miss the 2000's haha.
Sound Studio SAME *cries because it's not 2001 anymore and that MCR isn't a band anymore*
Sound Studio we all do your not alone #takemeback
Momo tea because this band is better than mcr
everyone thinks the current decade sucks until its gone 😂😂 I remember a shit ton of people hated Emo when it was big.
I guess you can call it "a decade under the influence" lololol
Saw you guys live on Saturday in Tampa! Great show, very nostalgic for me
Shantel Miller luckyyyy
I was at that show also. Sooooo good.
Never gets old 😍
Used to watch this every morning in "Fuse" when I was 13 now I'm 26 and never went a year without me watching this awesome video.
This is and was TBS's best lineup. Happiness Is , also is a great album though with the original crew too. Still adam and fred sounded more epic. Louder Now is on up there.
Adam + Fred (And Matt too, I miss that guy) = Best & Mosty Successful Line Up
Senior year 2022 nearing graduation we were broken up, and I still the remember the chill of the spring wind and the smell of the air while walking out to my car to go to school.
This is the real taking back Sunday.
i had a horrible week so today my hubby took me out for a long drive to nowhere bc we love doing that and listening to music. got my iced coffee and we’re blaring tbs and hawthorne, underoath, etc. We’re in our 30s but 15 again today 🙌🏻
I miss the time when this kind of music was popular.
I remember in 6th grade in 2006 I went to my friends birthday party he got a couple TBS CDs as gifts. Listened to them while playing Halo 2 on XBOX. Good times
